HT204089 facing issuess with wifi sync on my pc. it is nt connecting to my iphone 6

wifi sync is not working on my itunes with my iphone 6

Pretty much, yeah. You may be able to extract the data using a 3rd party utility.
For future reference, large external hard drives are cheap these days.  I'd venture that if you compare what you get paid per hour and multiply that by the wasted time you'll spend re-formatting your PC and trying to reconstruct all your data, it would make a good investment in preparation for the next time it happens... Because it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

  • I am facing problem with wifi and cellular after update  Apple iOS 8.0.2

How can we resolve the issue with wifi and cellular reception after update the iOS 8.2 on iPhone 5s 32 GB

    Try some basic troubleshooting:
    (A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    (B) Try reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
    (C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
    Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

  • Problem with wifi sync using both iPhone 4 and iPad 2

Ok. I've upgraded to iOS 5 and iTunes 10.5, wifi sync worked when I upgraded my iPhone 4. But, once I upgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 5, now niether shows up in the list on the left side. They don't show up when they're plugged in or anything. The "sync over wifi" check box under the device summary tab is checked for both as well.
    So, anyone have any ideas?

Ok. Well, it seems to be working fine now. No idea why, but I'll take it.

  • TS4062 Are there any other tricks beyond those that Apple lists here to get my iPad to sync over WiFi?  When I unplug it from the computer, it disappears from iTunes, even with WiFi sync turned on.

This worked on my old Mac mini with Snow Leaopard.  It does not work on my new mini with Lion.  My iPhone is not having any problems.

I have the same problem with my iPad mini and WiFi manual sync sync from and to iTunes 11.  The iPhone4S and iPad2 I also synch the same way work fine.  All devices have the same newest version of iOS 6.0.1

  • DQM Sync in TCA: Facing issue with the sync of  Attributes.

    Hi All,
We have a system where the syncing of some attributes like the party number etc in HZ_PARTIES takes place when ever a new party is created in the Customers Online Module, and i am able to search it using a search screen, but there are these custom attributes which are also linked to DQM through setups and also some standard attributes like the ORIG_SYSTEM_REFERENCE attribute in the HZ_ORIG_SYS_REFERENCES table which are not Synced automatically, can you please suggest why is this happening and what could be the way around for their automatic Sync and not having to run the DQM Staging program everytime.
Also we have faced regular instances in the way the search gets disabled, due to not syncing For Eg: when a custom table having some details for the Product and services related to the party are updated, or any other attributes lof the HZ_ORIG_SYS_REFERENCES are updated and not the ORIG_SYSTEM_REFERENCE which is used for search, This also sometimes leads to disabling the search.
Can you please suggest what can be the possible reasons and the workarounds for this.
What i am expecting is a way that this can be overcome and we dont need to run the Staging program instantly to correct the problem , though we may be scheduling the Program run for once a day.
    Thanks,
    Mayank

Have you tried going to ->
Trading Community Manager -> Administration -> DQM - Synchronization -> Synchronize Method
Set the Synchronizing Method to Autmatic. This should sync whenever a new Party is created.
We are facing significant performance issues, and are also exploring this.

  • Facing problem with wifi connectivity

    HI!
    I have BB curve 9300.
I use App world and what`s App through wifi. After some time both these applications drops their internet connectivity. But if i try browsing browser or youtube application they work.
I need to remove my battery and insert it again to make app world and what`s app functional. But again after some time of use the same problem occurs.
    What can be done.
I have already reset my mobile twice using desktop software.

Hi NikhilAdhav and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Do you currently have a BlackBerry data plan with your wireless provider? Does the network only drop while you are connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot?
    Thanks.

  • Wifi Sync not working with Windows 7 64bit

Hi, having an issue with wifi sync for some reason.  I am running Win 7 64bit, and I have tried everything on these forums with not luck.  It is not my router because it works on another computer with no problem.  I have enabled all ports, syncserver, etc. and nothing is working.  I have done a complete uninstall, registry clean, and reinstall with no luck.  I have noticed though on my computer when I check the box to allow my wifi sync to be enabled, all the box says is "Sync with this Iphone over....."  It does not say "sync with this Iphone over wifi".  The other computer I tried wifi sync with that worked said "sync with this Iphone over Wifi"  Any thoughts on what would cause my itunes to not display the full message?

Forgot to mention I am using Itunes 10.6.0

  • I have some problem about wifi sync with iOS5

    Hi~everbody~
I have some problem with wifi sync, and still don't know how to resolve it. Please Help Me~
First,I using Windows 7 64-bit, the latest iTunes 10.5, and iPod touch 4 with 5.0(9A334), and of course a WIFI AP in my room.
    Here is my major problem:
When I setted up enable wifi sync in iTunes summary, the iTunes had identified my iPod and show at left side in iTunes,
even when I unplug  my iPod touch 4 from my computer, the iTunes still shows there.
But after one day when I came home, I opened the iTunes want do a wireless sync, but the iTunes did not found my machine.
I have tried restart computer, restart WIFI AP, disable anti-virus software, close MSN, close teamviewer, and any software may caused some unstable network issue between iTunes and iPod touch 4, but when I done these whole things, the iTunes still not found my iPod.
So I want to know do Wifi Sync needs any specific net port ? like 80 port or some port else?
Wish there are somebody can help me fix this, very appreciate.
BTW: Even iTunes did not found my iPod touch 4, but I can still using "Remote App" to control iTunes music play, so I really confuse why it just can't do wifi sync ?

This error has got nothing to do with rmi.
The StackOverflowError means the Java VM stack is filled up. The
stack is used for keeping track of method calls. An easy way to
produce a StackOverFlowErrer is the following code:
    class Test {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    a();
    static void a() {
    a();
So if you call method a() within the same method, the stack
    fills up quickly.

I don't like using wifi sync at all. Even with my iMac often does not detect my iPhone or my iPad when they both have Wifi turned on all the time. Even when it does work the sync speed is pretty horrendous. Anyways I'd recommend physically plugging it in whenever you can. Save you some time and trouble.

  • My wife's iPhone can't use wifi sync with my Mac (but mine does)

My iPad and my iPhone both work correctly with wifi sync and my Mac, so I think my network config is ok.
However, when I set up my wife's iPhone the setup looks ok, when it is tethered to my Mac I can press the wifi sync button on the iphone and it will sync, but when I disconnect it, it
    1. dissapears from the device list on the left
    2. cannot find the Mac even when I try and force a sync from the menu
    I have tried:
Enabling and disabling uPnP on my router, assigning a different IP for her phone, etc.
    Rebooting / Re-opening everything
Resetting the network settings on the iPhone
Any real ideas that don't involve "format and reinstall?"

Is your wife's iPhone always connected to your home network when in the house?
    Yes
Also, have you enabled WiFi syncing when the iPhone has been tethered to the Mac and then re-synced (while still tethered) once you enabled the feature.
    Yes
Lastly, are all devices running iOS 5?
    Yes
Agree that it is very wierd.

  • Can you use wifi sync with multiple libraries and multiple devices

    Hi all
Does anyone know if you can use wifi sync with 1 computer, 2 libraries and 2 devices?
I have my wife's iPhone synced to 1 library and mine to another library but on the same computer. Will wifi sync work this way or do you need iTunes to be open to the correct library for it to work? As I know you can't have 2 instances of itunes open on the same computer.
    Anyway thanks for any help

I have been looking more and more into this and it appears no.
You need to have iTunes running on the computer to enable it to wifi sync. You can use 2 devices on 1 library but if you don't have all the right options ticked you will then end up with each others stuff on each others device.
To enable wifi sync you need to have your iDevice connected to the same wifi network as your computer and iTunes open on that computer.
With my library open it detected my wife's phone and started to sync. Hasty push of cancel sync button lol.
There is a guide on here somewhere about multiple devices with 1 library which I can't find at the moment that tells you which options to tick so only your stuff stays on your device the the other half's on their device.
Its basically tick 'sync only ticked songs and videos' under summary of your device
Under apps take tick out of 'automatically sync new apps'
Then under edit->preferences click device and click prevent i's from syncing automatically
I think you should then be able to sync both devices to 1 library with mucking them up too much
Hopefully please correct me if I'm wrong
I have tried not doing the last step and asking it to open itunes automatically when phone is connected but this does not work with wifi sync
Have fun hopefully someone else can give us a better answer

  • Switched Cable Modem, Home Sharing Kaput (WiFi Sync Too)

I'm on Time Warner Cable in New York City. We had a Motorola Surfboard combined modem/router.
I was able to play movies from my MacBook Pro on my AppleTV through Home Sharing without a problem (and play music, view photos too). I also had no problem with WIFI sync for my iPhone and iPad.
Unfortunately that modem had a meltdown and they replaced it with an Arris combined modem/router/phone modem.
Now Home Sharing works extremely sporadically. I can't watch a movie for more than a few minutes before I lose the connection.
Turning the WIFI off on my MBP and then back on sometimes fixes the problems, sometimes not. But even when it fixes it, a few minutes later the connection is lost again.
My iPhone and iPad are on the same network of course and sometimes iTunes on my MBP notices them and I can sync over WIFI, and sometimes not. I'll shut the WIFI off and on, reboot, turn the iPad/iPhone off and on and nothing helps. It just picks up that the devices are sometimes and sometimes it just doesn't see them at all.
Each device (AppleTV, MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone) works fine with our network, I'm able to do anything I want withough any issue (including on the AppleTV watching Netflix or movies through iTunes or listening to music through iTunes Match which I purchased recently).
But no matter what I do, including changing channels on the modem, turning it on then off, doing a total reset, erasing the network info from all devices and renaming the network and reconnecting, etc. Home Sharing is a total fail at this point.
Is there some setting in the modem configuration I need to change to fix this? Could it just be the modem itself?
I'm thinking I may have a TWC tech come with a new Motorola modem and see if it works again but any other ideas are appreciated.
    THANKS!

  • WiFi Sync stops half way

On top of the more general issues with WiFi sync where stuff just vanishes from iTunes I've also had many instances where my iPhone will just vanish half way through a sync.
I have the phone plugged in, not moving, a full WiFi signal yet I'll get a message in iTunes saying something like 'XYZ could not be copied to your iPhone because it is no longer connected' or something like that.
Sure enough, the iPhone is now vanished from the sidebar.  ARRRRRGGGGGG Soooo many problems with this phone.

I've had this same problem with my iPad. I'm afraid I've lost a significant amount of app data. Any ideas, anyone?

  • HT1386 Does this work for anyone?  For a company who spouts "It Just Works" this WiFi sync just does not work.

What's up with WiFi sync?  Is there a trick to it?  I get it to work once and then it just doesn't work again.  I have an iPhone 5, iPad 3, iOS 6, IMac 2011, latest OS and iTunes, a Cisco E4200. How the heck do you make it work?

Is your computer ON while you're trying to sync through wifi?  Sync through wifi will work only if your computer is running at the same time.

  • No checkbox for wifi sync

I have a old Power Mac G5 1.8 dual. It runs 10.5.8 Leopard. I also have an iPad 2. I am using the just-released iOS 5 on the iPad, and iTunes 10.5 on the Mac.
When I plug in the iPad, under the summary tab in iTunes, there is supposed to be a checkbox for syncing with WiFi under "Open iTunes when this iPad is connected." But there is no checkbox, and because of this, I cannot sync over WiFi. Is there a reason I doon't have this checkbox?
Is it because Apple doesn't love my Mac anymore? Say it ain't so!

I have the same problem, only with a Mac Book Pro and iPhone 4.
    I'm also running Leopard.
Is it because Apple doesn't love Leopard perhaps?
