Thank you for your suggestion. I backup on itunes. I went to itunes, deleted syncing my contacts, then re-synced them. But the Facetime capability option continues to be there on most (not all, for some curious reason) of my contacts. I am not sure I posed my question correctly. I want to be able to FT with my family, so don't want to delete the FT capability totally from my iphone and ipad. But I don't want all these other iphone calls from various contacts to ring on my ipad as FT calls. I want a way to select with whom I have FT capabilities. Any further suggestions? Problems after virus disinfection, when I plug in my iPod, it asks if I want to scan and fix, but then it can't find the device. What should I try?
I used Avast and Malwarebytes. The computer was severly infected with the FBI virus. I had to do a repair reinstall of Windows 7. The client is upset about her iPod, which at this point is the only thing still having a problem. I'm not familiar with Apple products, but I told her I would research it.

How can I change the settings in Safari to list the open windows chronologically instead of alphabetically? I keep a lot of open windows e.g., 25 windows and many tabs on each) and like to work between a few at a time. The problem is that Safari reorganizes windows alphabetically. Once I open a new window, it take a while to find the windows I'm looking for. Chrome and Firefox list the open windows chronologically which I find much easier. The newest windows are at the bottom of the list.

How can i reset the colors of Aperture toolbars and event icons? They have all gone grey.
Have you just upgraded to Aperture 3.3 or later? The grey design is a feature, ot a bug

Newly designed monochrome source list and toolbar icons.
The only way to change it, would be to manually replace the icons by colored ones in the Aperture application itself. You would have to patch the application bundle and to exchange some of the tiff files in the "Resources" folder.
And each time there is an update you would have to start over.

I updated my iPod Nano 7th Generation, and it wiped my iTunes library. I no longer have my playlists or movies. I was able to recover my music, but the many, many playlists I had, I could not recover. Is there any way I could recover them?

It sounds like your iPod Nano is not recognized in iTunes anymore after a recent update. I recommend the following article to help you get that in order named:

After updating my iPad 2 & iPhone 4 to iOS 5, I set-up each one for iCloud, but inadvertently used 2 different Apple ID's (one me.com and one that I typically use for Apple purchases). I realize this will prevent the two devices from syncing. When I try to change the iCloud Apple ID, it is grayed out, and I can't find any way to re-set it on my iPad. Does anyone know how to re-set this ID so both devices are operating on the same ID?
I have a second question (though not as pressing as the first). I'd like to use my me.com ID to sync calendars, contacts, etc., but another ID to sync my Apple purchases (apps, etc.). This way my wife and I could share apps, but each sync our iPhones and iPads to our own content. Does anyone know if this type of dual-ID set-up is possible on one device?
I know there's a lot of confusion out there, but I'm trying to keep in mind that this is a huge upgrade and transition for Apple, so it will all work out, and should be fantastic when it does. It'll just take a little time to sort out. Thanks for any suggestions! -Bob-Hi Jeremy,
That is my understanding. Clicking "Delete Account" is similar to logging out of iCloud with that account.
But your situation is different from mine, as I had been using my @me.com account for "Find My iPhone" only. I ended up using my @me.com account for iCloud and another account for my Apple iTunes Store purchases.
That's correct--it will not delete your purchases. You can still back-up to your Mac with iTunes using the same account you used to purchase your Apple stuff. -Bob- -

NetsolRead and follow the Bootcamp Installation instructions that you were offered to view when you ran Bootcamp Assistant.
Run Bootcamp Assistant again and select the option to download the Bootcamp Support software. Follow the instructions. Then boot into Windows and install the Windows Support software you downloaded and saved. -
When I click on Firefox I see restore session but no options to do so....cannot get firefox to load....it just sits and tries to run but will not load....I have uninstalled Firefox several times and downloaded with NO luck...help!
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

No. you are long past any upgrade and platform swap eligibility. You can only buy a new license or sign up for CC. It's a moot point, anyway. There are serious compatibility issues with CS4 on OSX 10.10, so it would be nothing but trouble.
