Is anyone present who can help me with a syncing issue between icloud & my imac address book? I've already done the obvious...
Welcome to the Apple community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

My new iPhone 5 will not sync calendars with my iMac and iPad.
Can someone please help me with this. I have ticked the sync calendars in the phone info tab. I tend to put appointments on both my iPhone and my iPad so I need all 3 talking to each other.
So I've always sort of had this problem with syncing my calendar and I think I finally figured out why. It seems I have two Apple ID's. My iCloud email address is [email protected] This is one Apple ID. My iTunes account has always been my Gmail email address. This is another Apple ID. Since I never use my Apple email address, I never considered that to be my Apple ID. I always considered what I used to connect to iTunes my Apple ID. So when I set up any iPhone I've ever had - when asked for my Apple ID I always put in my gmail address and it worked just fine. The problem is nothing was ever syncing properly with the cloud. Tonight, on my iPhone, I went to Settings > iCloud and then scrolled down to the bottom and deleted the account (this was my personal account at Gmail) Then I added [email protected] as my Apple ID. I then made sure everything in iCloud was switched on on the iPhone and just like magic, I went back to my iCal on the phone and everything syncs perfectly. It was a simple issue of having two Apple ID's. Make sure the email address you're using for iCloud is the Apple ID you're setting your iPhone up with and everything should work properly. Nobody has ever been able to figure this out for me. I hope this will help someone who has been as frustrated as I have been for such a long time now.

I trust that you have updated both devices to iOS 5 and have set up iCloud on both devices? When you are finished reading on the one device you tap the bookmark on that page - correct?
Do you have iBooks turned on in both devices for backup? I don't know why that would matter since this is supposed to sync in real time. Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup>Manage Storage>Name of iDevice>iBook>On.
Restart all devices and try again?? -
Contacts on my iphone does not sync properly with icloud.
Contacts on my iphone does not sync properly with icloud. I have merged data with facebook contacts, and this merged information appears as I want it to be on icloud.com. But on the iphone, the facebook contacts and the icloud contact appear separately.
I have tried exporting the contacts out of icloud.com, then deleting all contacts on both icloud.com and on the iphone; then importing the vcard back into icloud.com, but the facebook details still appear as a separate contact. It is too time consuming to merge all of my contacts manually What should I do in order for the iphone to display the contacts as it is on icloud.com?Is there some sort of Facebook tag on the vCard?

ICloud will not sync my contacts or calendar in Mac Office 2011. ICloud does however sync to my PC at work running Microsoft office 2010 and also to my IPad and IPhone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

can I retrieve contacts that I deleted from an email account on my IPhone that I no longer have access to? I have synced the contacts with my computer and have not synced since I deleted the mail account on my Iphone. Can I still retrieve the contacts on my home computer?

How do I upload my Microsoft Outlook to replace the Calendar and Contacts on Icloud? My computer is Windows 7 and Microsoft Outlook 2007. Icloud is all messed up and will not let me delete incorrect information. It keeps saying it cannot delete because of server error.
My iphone 4 and my computer are correct. Only Icloud is wrong. I have had to disable Icloud until I can figure out how to correct it. If anyone knows what I should do, please let me know.

My iPhone 6 is disabled as I have forgotten my passcode. I have not synced it with any other device/icloud, etc. When I connected it my MacBook and opened iTunes, that is also asking for passcode. Pl help.

My iPad and iPhone have the same syncing calendar but my Windows 7 PC with iCloud does not sync/show the same calendar...please help!
iCloud will not sycn a calendar from an external source. In order to use iCloud to sync it, you would have to move it to iCloud and stop using Google. I know how to do that on a Mac, but I'm not sure how to do it on a PC. If you're using Outlook, I suspect you export it as an .ics file to your desktop, then import it to the iCloud account in Outlook. I'm sure you could use Google to find the specific steps.
However, there's really no reason not to just use Google to sync your calendar across your devices. Instead, just continue to use Goole calendar on all your devices and they should stay in sync. Take a look at this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0Jj0KFgbYI. -

My ical syncs fine over the iCloud - on my Macbook (both icloud on the web, and the iCal application). It syncs fine with my iPhone as well. It doesn'e sync with my iPad over the cloud... Any sugestions???

Reminders syncs well with my iPad mini, MacAir, and Mac mini. However my iPhone 5 Reminders does not. Items I enter on one of the devices show-up on iCloud and the other devices except for my iPhone 5. Vice versa if I enter a new item on my iPhone it does not show up on the other devices or iCloud. Essentially the same things happens when I complete an item. When I review how iCloud and Reminders is setup on the iPad and iPhone it appears to be the same.

ICloud calendar not syncing with Mac calendar
I deleted the default "all calendars" calendar from my iCloud calendar in a browser because it was the only way to solve a bizarre issue where I had 2 sets of every event from an extra calendar that I had subscribed to and then unsubscribed from in Google Calendars. After I fixed my Google calendar (deleted, re-imported) and re-subscribed to the Google calendar from my Mac calendar everything looks back to normal in my Mac calendar and on all my devices. HOWEVER...I can't get anything from the Mac calendar (which is getting its data from my Google calendar) to come back and repopulate the iCloud calendar viewed from a browser.
If I enter a new event in either the iCloud or the Mac calendars it appears in the other calendar within a minute, but all of the events that populated the Mac calendar when I imported my old google calendar to repopulate it have never migrated (unless I manually go to each event and change it from a gmail calendar event to an iCloud event in the Mac calendar).

on my iPhone, when I input an event in my iCloud calender, it doesn't sync to my iCal on my Mac. (BUT, it does work the other way - if I make an event on my Mac it does show up in that calendar on my phone...) Any help much appreciated.

I've added appointments to my calendar on iMac and it doesn't sync on iPhone and iPad. Same with the address book. I will change info on one of my devices and it doesn't change on the others. I checked in System Preferences under iCloud, both calendar and address book are selected. Same with devices.

Hi I am trying to sync my iPad and iPhone 5 via iCloud (have not tried with my MacBook yet). I am trying to sync music, contacts, calendar, notes and tasks. I have set up iCloud exactly as described by Apple and a dozen other sites with "tips" on configuring iCloud. I am using the same Apple ID on all devices and for ICloud account as well. I have ensured that the apps to be synced are the same on both devices. I have tried deleting the iCloud account then resetting the devices (holding home and off/on buttons) and then logging into iCloud again. I have also reset my network connections on the devices. When I log into iCloud.com the different apps are there but no content. I have also tried doing a test entry in for example calendar and waited 10-15 minutes but nothing happened.
The only other possible problem source I could guess is that on my iPhone my contacts, calendar, notes and tasks are also being synced with my work PC via Exchange. Could this be it?
The music I have bought on iTunes does not sync between the devices with either iCloud or iTunes. What could be the problem? On iCloud.com are supposed to see the music that is being synced between devices?
