My contacts are not being backed up in my iCloud account. Any suggestions?
Only contacts that belong to the iCloud group are synced to your iCloud account. If you have non-iCloud contact groups on your phone, first go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Group (in the Contacts section) and make sure you select iCloud as your default. Next, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to On, and when prompted, choose Merge. Then try creating a new contact on your phone and see if it appears in your contacts on icloud.com when you check from your computer.

Need urgent help! - I accidentally sync my friend's iphone account to my company's iphone. I could not switch back to my own icloud account because of the icloud password i enter was incorrect. My friend does not use this icloud account since age only remember 1 password which i already try but iphone shown that " incorrect password" I checked on icloud ID and try to log in but it shown as " You Apple ID was disable for security reason. To enable your account must reset password" but so bad again, the email address that he used to create icloud ID also lock for security reason. May Apple Supporter please help reset it ASAP? I can verify that I am the iphone's owner, as it belong to company's phone.

Are not the right ones for the icloud account. How can I find out what these are?
I have downloaded icloud onto my PC. When I try to access my account I am told that although my Apple ID and password are correct they are not the right ones for the icloud account.How can I find out what these are?

Why are contacts I add on my phone not being backed up/linked to iCloud?
I need to delete a previous employer outlook email account from my phone but don't want to lose all of my contacts. I see most of my contacts show they are linked to both that outlook account and to the icloud. I am assuming if I delete the outlook account I will still have the contacts backed up to the icloud? Can someone please confirm this? Second question is that I see quite a few contacts do not show a link at all to either outlook or icloud. Will I lose those contacts? It appears those contacts were created directly on my phone itself, so why are those contacts not being backed up to the cloud? Appreciate any help you can give me so I don't lose contacts and/or have to enter them all over again (I did have my IT department give me a backup of my contacts on excel so worse care I can re-enter all of them but obviously I don't want to have to do that). Thanks!
Did she restore the iPhone 4 and set it up as new wtih her AppleID?
Or did she simply turn it on with your Apple ID still on it and start deleting everything?
You should have Settings > iCLoud account as your AppleID.

My contacts from my iphone 4S are not being uploaded and saved to iCloud.
Why are the contacts that are on my 4S iphone NOT being uploaded and saved to iCloud contacts? Yes, contacts toggle is turned to "on" on my phone. Yes, I have updated manually while plugged in and connected to my WiFi as well as left it plugged in and locked to automatically update iCloud. Still no contacts in my iCloud folder even though I have 379 contacts sitting on my phone.
I'm no expert by far, but have had issues with this before.
IMAP should allow your iPhone to remove messages from the server.
But have you made sure both the iPhone and Outlook are connecting via IMAP?
If your iPhone does remove the messages from the server, but your computer is using POP, then the computer may download the email before it is removed form the server by your iPhone.
This was my issue, that my computer had already downloaded the message, and POP does not check later if it is deleted.
If you delete a message from Outlook does it disappear on the iPhone?
Alternativly you may need to check the email server settings.
Who is your email provider?
They may be able to check if IMAP allows you to remove emails. -
My new contacts are not being sent to iCloud
Okay, I really need help. All of my new contacts that I add onto my Iphone 4 (iOS 7.0.2) are not being sent to iCloud at all. All of my other contacts are their and if I edit them on my phone they show up editted on all my other devices (2009 purchased macbook pro and 2013 purchased macbook pro). But if I add a new contact it wont show up on any other device! Someone please if you have any help please lend a hand!

I'm sure that your Mac isn't being backed up on iCloud, because Macs can't be backed up on iCloud (that's for iPhones, iPods touch and iPads).
If you want to check what's using your iCloud storage, open System Preferences > iCloud > Manage -
Time Machine says it is backing up my Drobo, but changes are not being backed up.
I have a Time Capsule hooked to a mac mini and a 4 TB Drobo RAID connected as an external hard Drive connected to the Mac Mini as well.
My Drobo went insane and I had to re-setup the Drobo with it's partitions etc...
I Renamed the partitions exactly as I had before the issue and Time machine performed a full backup of the Drobo and afterward it will say it is backeing up, but any changes made are not showing on the time machine backup file.
I looked at the Console Activity file and it shows the "Production" drive it is supposed to be backing up as "Production 2"
HELP ME!!!You might have to wipe and start over.. TM is extremely sensitive to name changes on hard disks.. because they are used to identify the backup .. not the drive share name you are looking at but a UUID set when you reformatted..
It is important you understand how Time Machine works.. See http://pondini.org/TM/Home.html the first couple of articles..
Then in troubleshooting http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html try B6 on reconnecting to your backups..
My experience is.. if you want reliable backups.. wipe and start over.
And use a cloner.. eg Carbon Copy Cloner.. it simply does a better job of things like external drives. -
Why my contacts are not in my new device with icloud?
i changed iphone 4s for 5c, i backed up all my contacts in icloud but now in my new device i cant see them, so i dont know what im doing wrong or if i missing something.
Did you backup your 4s to iCloud and also sync your contacts to iCloud? If you synced them, you can use an internet browser and log in to https://www.icloud.com and see them there. Doing that would help you confirm whether they are in iCloud from a sync. If they are then go on your 5c to Settings > iCloud and confirm that the account is the same and that Conacts is on (green). That should bring them to the phone if you are connected to wi-fi. If not connected to wi-fi you may need to go to Settings > Cellular > Use Cellular Data For and turn Contacts on there as well.
If they aren't at https://www.icloud.com then that would indicate that they weren't synced there but that doesn't mean they weren't backed up to iCloud. There isn't a way to view the contents of an iCloud backup but if they were backed up, then they should come to the phone as part of a restore. Your post doesn't indicate whether you did a restore as part of setting up your new phone. -

My settings state that my "notes" will be stored to my Yahoo account but when I go to my Yahoo account I can't find my notes. Are my notes being 'backed up" at Yahoo?
Yes. If your default account for notes is Yahoo, they should be saved somewhere in yahoo. Usually I think it's just a folder titled "notes". At least that's how my gmail is.
