If it has the cloud symbol, then that means it is not actually on your iPhone. If you do not want to see your purchased items, then go to Settings > Videos, then toggle Show All Videos.

I see. If you go to Settings>General>About>Name, that is the current name of your phone. The backup bearing that name should be the more recent one, and therefore the one you want to keep. I would delete the other one (presumably the one set up by Best Buy under your real name, assuming you changed it later), then see if that gives you enough space to back up again.
If it still reporting insufficient storage, use this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4847 to try to determine what's taking up all your room. In them meantime, you can perform a manual backup on your computer so your have a current one while you're troubleshooting this. To do so, connect your phone to iTunes, then right-click on the name of your phone on the left side and select Back Up. -
my iphone has calendar history for 10 years. my icloud only shows about 6-8 weeks back. how can i get icloud to show all the calendar events in the past that are on iphone?
I encountered a similar problem when finally (and with much regret) I was obliged to migrate my MobileMe to iCloud last month.
Many years of iCal history vanished without trace during this automated transition by Apple and iCloud then kindly synched the resulting vacuum back to iCal on my Mac.
Fortunately, iCloud wasn’t able to decimate iCal on my other Macs because (1) they are still running Snow and (2) I had switched them off as a precaution. Good job I did.
My solution was to export my iCal data on one of those other Macs to a backup file – then I imported that backup file into my Lion-updated Mac’s iCal. That restored all the iCloud-deleted iCal data back on to my Mac and this was promptly synched automatically to my Calendar on iCloud. So now it’s all there and showing.
Perhaps you could do something similar? In the meantime, be very careful not to let iCloud’s amnesia get synched to your iPhone (and other devices).
Experience has taught me never to trust an “upgrade” until it is proven to be working correctly and always to keep in reserve another Mac with a properly-functioning system and all synching to it switched off... -
I purchased some alert tones on my iphone 4s via itunes yesterday. They all worked just fine until the phone ran out of battery and I plugged it in and restarted. They have vanished from the phone and when I connect to my PC they only show up as 'on my device' under tones and with a grey dotted circle by them. How do I get them back? This is crazy! I purchased one a second time, it worked, I switched my phone off and on again and it has gone again!!!
Having the same issue on multiple alert tones on my Iphone5c. After purchase they disappear from the phone and show up on my itune under Tones grayed out with a dotted circle next to them.

I am signed into itunes with my id and my iphone / ipad are also on this id but when i go in to manage devices its only showing the iphone. Also just up dated my ipad now its saying not charging when its hooked up to the computer?
If the problem persists, you'll probably have to make another apple id, it wont take off any games or music or apps or anything you've bought it will all stay there, i have two apple id's and i don't have a problem with anything.

I have Lion on my laptop and I want to back up my calendar TO my iphone. Not the reverse. iCloud only goes from iphone to iCloud to mac not the other way. Also, why doesn't "sync" mean update most recent changes across all devices? I thought that was the point of iCloud. Any suggestions since iCloud doesn't seem to work?
It's a work computer so I wanted to save them to my iTunes so I can access from another computer. Should I go to a home computer and just Import for best results? If so how do I do this? Also, why would I be synched with another library and how do I find out what this is? Very new/green user here

Need some help! My iPhone 4 cannot play music through it's built in speaker, only with headphones. I also cannot adjust volume, it only shows "ringer". I really do not know when it starts. I already clean the jack and dock,reset it and still cannot be fixed. I updated it to IOS 7.1.1 recently only, does it have connection with the inconvenience I am experiencing right now? When i open up itunes on my computer, it says that i have 2 videos but when i sync it and check my ipod touch, it says i have no videos so it only shows up on my computer but not on my iPod touch and its a 4th Generation.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.

How do you transfer photo albums to the computer? When I hook to USB, it only shows photos from the camera icon, not the photos icon. I am trying to save pictures for the in-laws from their ipad.
I have no clue that you mean by it only shows photos from the camera icon. It has to show the photos in the camera roll of the photos app since those are the only photos that you can import via the USB cable.
There are other ways of transferring photos to a computer, but they involve using third party apps. There are WiFi transfer apps that will do this. DropBox will also let you upload photos to a public folder and then download them to a computer.

Hello. I sent my WRT1900AC V1 to Linksys four days ago (Monday) via UPS with a RMA. Linksys paid the shipping and everything. The router is still in route, and it should arrive to their offices tomorrow. Once they receive the WRT1900 AC V1, they are going to send me an EA8500 as a replacement. But I have been reading the comments about the EA8500 here in the forum and it seems to have the same problems. I guess the firmware is extremely flawed in both routers (maybe it is almost the same code?). Anyway, I will try the EA8500 and I hope it works. I bought a temporary router from Walmart and I paid $35 for it. It is a Belink N600 DB. I can't believe that a $35 router is working a lot, lot, lot better than my previous $250 WRT1900AC router. Unbelievable. If the EA8500 doesn't work, I'm going to try and get my money back from Linksys, or contact The Consumerist or someone to get my money back and get a Nighthawk instead.

There are a couple of possibilities that may apply to the email you have received regarding your Apple ID. The first is that the email may be a legitimate warning that your Apple ID has been compromised. For this reason I would suggest that you change the password to your Apple ID as soon as possible.
