HT204150 New Contacts are not being copied to iCloud

New Contacts saved on my iphone are not being copied to my iCloud account. Any suggestios?

Check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section) to be sure you have selected iCloud as your default.  Otherwise the contacts you are adding on your phone are not being added to iCloud.

  • HT204150 My contacts are not being backed up in my iCloud account

My contacts are not being backed up in my iCloud account. Any suggestions?

Only contacts that belong to the iCloud group are synced to your iCloud account.  If you have non-iCloud contact groups on your phone, first go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Group (in the Contacts section) and make sure you select iCloud as your default.  Next, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to On, and when prompted, choose Merge.  Then try creating a new contact on your phone and see if it appears in your contacts on icloud.com when you check from your computer.

  • New songs are not being uploaded to icloud

iTunes 10.7 - I just noticed today that new songs I added to my iTunes are not being automatically uploaded to the cloud.  This has worked fine ever since I subscribed to match. I even bought an album yesterday that went to the cloud fine.   I tried signing out and signing back in, updating my match, purchasing a song from itunes..nothing is working.
Is anyone else having this problem?
    Thank you

If you're talking about photo stream:
    Check the following:
From your Home screen, tap Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and make sure the slider is set to the ON position.  If grayed out, check Restrictions in Settings>General.
From the Home screen, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, make sure the slider is set to ON, and that your device is connected to a wireless network.
Ensure that Camera app is closed on the device where you took the photo. Photo Stream will not upload photos from an iOS device until the Camera app is closed.
Ensure your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%.
Note that when photo stream is turned on, only pictures taken from that point on will go to the stream, not existing photos.  For those, sync them to a computer using itunes and USB cable.

  • HT203565 contacts on my iPad are not being uploaded to iCloud

I have synced my iPad with my Yahoo account. It has downloaded all of the contacts located there. However:
1- The Yahoo sync did NOT include any group information. I.e it downloaded all individual contacts, but none of the groups which existed.
2- These contacts are visible on my iPad, but they are not being uploaded to iCloud when my iPad syncs with the cloud.
The original problem is - how do I get the Groups from my  Yahoo account downloaded to the iPad.
"Obviously" If I could get the Yahoo contacts uploaded to iCloud, I could create the groups there. (Which I can do easily enough), but I cannot get the contacts into t he groups.

  • TS3999 My calendar events on my PC are not being update in iCloud. Why not?

My calendar events on my PC are not being update in iCloud. I made this happen one time by deleting iCloud on my PC and then reloaded it to the iCloud. I thought it was to keep all calendars in sync no matter what device was used.  What am I doing wrong? It appears you can only go one way, iCloud to PC unless you turn off Icloud on PC and reload PC entries.

Thank you very much for your help!
I did the three points you mentioned above, the thing is that I can publish, but I would have to unpublish the latest issue in order to be able to read the new one, actually it is necesary to archive the last issue in order to see the new one.
What can I do?? it is very important to me!!!
I need to publish a very importan magazine
Thank you very much for your help1

  • My pictures are not being sent by icloud to my computer.

My pictures are not being sent to my computer by icloud.  I believe I have everything set up correctly. Can't figure what I am doing wrong.

I have the same problem. They were syncing up until 4/4, but I don't have anything newer than that. The photos are syncing correctly to iPhoto on my laptop, so (at least in my case) it's not a problem with the phone's configuration.
Photostream is enabled in iCloud control panel, and I've tried disabling and re-enabling it. The computer's been restarted plenty of times since it stopped working, so we can skip "try turning it off and on again".

  • Why new contacts are not appearing after some time?

I Am using iPhone6, iPad New and iPad mini. The contacts which I saved in iPhone are not appearing after some time. I don't know whether it is related with synchronisation of other devices. Please help me if you know the reason.

    Hi,
Have you checked the filtering option in contacts? Open contact menu button > filter. Perhaps you have a filter hiding the contacts.

  • Ipad contacts are not all moving to icloud

I looked at my contacts on iCloud and noticed that there are only a small fraction of what I have on my iPad.
It says the last backup was recently and that it iCloud is turned on.
Any ideas on how I can get all of my contacts on my iPad into the iCloud?

    Hello hayleyearnold,
It sounds like you are trying to sync your contacts and notes with iCloud so that they show up on your other devices and iCloud.com.  I found some articles that might help with this.
I recommend looking at the section titled "Troubleshooting iCloud Contacts update or setup issues with iOS devices" in the following article:
    iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Contacts

For the issue you are experiencing with Notes, I recommend reviewing the following article:

  • Emails are not being deleted form iCloud when I delete them from Mail

I am having trouble with not being deleted on the iCloud server when I delete them on my Mac.  If I delete them from iCloud they disappear from my Mac but if I delete from my Mac they stay on iCoud and then reappear on Mac.
On both iCloud and Mac I have preferances set to move deleted messages to the trash.
    any help would be appreciated.
    Ken

You don't need to delete photos from your camera roll to save on backup sizes, you can turn individual items on and off for back up in your iCloud back up settings.
Apple States that the last 3 back ups are accessible, which means the photos from your back up may not be removed immediately.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

  • TS3988 New appleID is not being recognized by icloud on my iphone4s, no way to change the email address (already verified through email) HELP!

    ugghhhhh...
ok, so the email account associated with my appleID had to be deleted, so i set up my new email address and verified through email.  now everytime i attempt to turn my icloud on, it asks for the password to my OLD appleID (attempts to enter the old password did not work).  the app store is recognizing my new information, but i cannot find a single option on my phone to CHANGE THE APPLEID ASSOCIATED WITH MY ICLOUD!!! HELP!!!

Did you just rename the Apple ID you were using for iCloud or create a new Apple ID?  Also, when you say "everytime I attempt to turn my iCloud on" do you mean you are trying to set up iCloud for the first time?
