HT204204 Error invalid number when trying to send a TXT message

While trying to send someone a TXT on craigslist, I inadvertently sent a TXT to a 7 digit number. I received back the following message (Where <XXXXXXX> is the 7 digit number I tried to TXT).
I'm using an iPhone 6 (brand new) with the latest iOS. Handoff and TXT message forwarding is set up.
From +1 (1) (216) 116-11:
<XXXXXXX> Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. (The message I sent went her).
After that I attempted to send to the correct 10 digit number but every subsequent attempt to message the correct number has failed. I have tried the following:
Hard reset of the device.
Deleting the conversation
Creating a contact with the correct number
Using Messages to create a new conversation
Replying to messages received from the number.
However nothing I've been able to do resulted in a message getting sent.

I think your region settings are interfering the format of the US number. What country are your region settings set to?
This is how they should look: +1 (216) 116-1122
The +1 is optional when inside the USA/Canada

I’d be happy to help with this messaging error! This will be due to the device storing the number incorrectly. Please do the following to resolve the issue:
Delete texts from both old number and new
Delete any call logs including these numbers
Delete old number from contacts
Delete new number from contacts
Restart device
Send text to the new number directly (do not save as contact)
Once the text sends successfully, you can then save as a new contact

I even reinstalled my WRT110 to be sure of the Network Name and Password but I still get this error. I have never been able to log in to the wireless network. I can see it - Ienter my password and still "Invalid Password"

I don't understand this: Connect directly to the router. Is this the http://192.168.1.1?
I HAVE changed the network name, I HAVE changed the password.
I still get invalid password!!!
I am extremely frustrated by all this. I need simple instructions. I followed them when I set the friggin thing up, I reinstalled. I know what my friggin password is - why why why?

Why do I get Error invalid number when I try to send a text to my husband?

I tried to send my husband a text this afternoon from my phone. I keep getting a message from +1 (1) (216) 116-11. It says the following:
7657905 Error Invalid Number
Please resend using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. HELP!

My wife had this problem for the past few days for a specific phone number. These instructions fixed it -- without having to restore from backup or contact the carrier.

Open Contacts -> select the contact -> select edit -> scroll all the way to the bottom and delete contact (delete multiple entries of the same phone number, my wife had five).
Open the Messages app -> select Edit -> select the red circle and then select delete. Do this for both the person and the messages you received.
Open the Settings app -> scroll down and select Messages -> turn off messages, by selecting the switch, and any other options turned on.
Turn off your phone and then turn it back on.
Go straight to messages and compose a new message and put in the phone number of the person you're trying to text. Send and that person should receive the text message. Add the person to your contacts and go back into message settings to turn on any other options you want on that you turned off.

ORA-10722 Invalid Number when trying to Associate Asset to Activity

For Activities created by API, we are getting an error (ORA-10722 Invalid Number) when attempting to associate a asset to the activity using the activity Association Form. Has anyone run across this before?

It can be because of The attempted conversion of a character string to a number failed because the character string was not a valid numeric literal.
Only numeric fields or character fields containing numeric data may be used in arithmetic functions or expressions.
Only numeric fields may be added to or subtracted from dates.
Check the character strings in the function or expression.
Check that they contain only numbers, a sign, a decimal point, and the character "E" or "e" and retry the operation .
Check API design.

Error code 98 when trying to send a text.

This happens with only 1 of my contacts. I am able to text everyone else fine. I have tried 3 different messaging apps. I have tried to power cycle my phone. I have been trying to text this person every other day for about a week, so where I am physically at or when I am trying to send it does not matter. I tried sending with a 1+ area code+ number and area code+ number. Nothing works.
Suggestions?

Error(-101) encountered when trying to send a mail

I am trying to send a mail through Business One 2005A. When i click on the email icon, a pop up window appears that asks if i want to attach an edited report with the mail. when i click "Yes", i get an error message error(-101) encountered. but if i click "No", i dont get that error. Can anyone please let me know what this error is all about?

Hi Fulvia,
This could be caused by folder permissions. Try creating a new share on the server (I typically create a share off the root of the drive, called something like B1_MAIL or SBO_MAIL), granting Full Control to all domain users and then mapping your attachments path in General Settings to this new folder. If this solves the problem then you can tighten up the security to fit your requirements afterwards.

Error message when trying to send a picture message (multimedia)

I am unable to send picture messages and receive "Can't send message right now. There are too many unsent multimedia messages." I tried to upload pictures to print thru the Walgreens app, after becoming frustrated with the application I canceled the upload. I've been having trouble sending messages ever since. I've tried to clear all running applications in the Task Manager, and checked the Multimedia message limit through my Messaging Settings and increased the limit. I can't figure out how to clear the unsent multimedia messages, can anyone help? Thanks!

Was your 3G data connection active when you were trying to send the pictures? Have you tried to send picture to yourself? Dial *228, option 1 to reprogram the phone to the Verizon Wireless network?

I get a "Network Authentication Failed" when trying to send a picture message...any suggestions?

My daughter has a Samsung Intensity II and whenever she (or I) try to send a picture message from it, we get "Network Authentication Failed". I have tried calling *228, option 2, but that did not resolve the problem. Any other suggestions out there?

Try *228, option 1 instead to reprogram the phone. Option 2 just updates the roaming list.
Are you in an extended coverage area? You should be within a native Verizon Wireless coverage area when reprogramming the phone.

The problem seems to be the header of the message, specifically the class-id filed of the content-type. This is the content-type header that causes javaMail to throw that exception:
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
boundary="------------110059296832670";
class-id=11:9sc9bnYwM87box:2680047
I think the ":" character in the class-id is causing the problem. Does anybody know if those characters are valid according to MIME standards? And if they are not valid, is there a work around this problem?

RFC 2046 doesn't mention the existence of the class-id parameter. But it does say this:Thus, a typical "multipart" Content-Type header field might look like this:
     Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary=gc0p4Jq0M2Yt08j34c0p
But the following is not valid:
     Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary=gc0pJq0M:08jU534c0p
(because of the colon) and must instead be represented as
     Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="gc0pJq0M:08jU534c0p"From what I see elsewhere, Class-ID is a Microsoft extension. It wouldn't be surprising to find that Microsoft uses extensions that are incompatible with the MIME standards.

Got "invalid number" when tried to verify my area code 437 number

I recently changed my phone number which used to have area code 416 but now has area code 437. Both are Toronto area codes. However when I tried to update my Skype To Go number to the new one, I got the following error message: "The phone number is invalid. Please check that you have entered it correctly. " I suspect it is probably bacause 437 is quite new and Skype does not yet recognize it. Can any one please let me know how could I verify this new number? Thanks in advance.

This problem now appears for me too.
When using iforgot.apple.com email-verification clicking the reset link results in the "Invalid Link" error.
The error, that caused me to do this (password failing to verify against iCloud) has vanished since though.

Error: Invalid Parameter when trying to extend volume in Windows Server 2012

From VMware, I added space to a Hard Drive to a Windows Server 2012 VM. I then went into the WinServer console, and opened Disk Management. I did a rescan on the disk. It found the extra space. I right mouse click on the Disk,
and choose Extend Volume, choose the available space, and then an error returned of 'Invalid Parameter'.
In Disk Manager, the new larger space is assigned, but Windows Explorer and everything else only recognizes the original smaller size.
EventManager shows Event ID 265: A pointer device did not report a valid unit of angular measurement. Event ID 257: A pointer device reported a bad angular physical range. Event ID 258: A pointer device reported a bad angular logical range.
Anyone have a solution for this problem?

Please try to use the command line utility diskpart to extend the drive.
1. Open a command prompt
2. Type in diskpart
3. Type list volume
4. Type select volume #
5. Type extend [size=n] [disk=n]
