HT204266 Apps "waiting" and will not launch, pause or delete

Used "Update All" option for the first time to run updates displaying in App Store of my iPhone 4...DISASTER!!!
The selected apps have been "waiting" for over 5 hours. I cannot launch, pause or delete the applications.
I have deleted the apps through settings, but they're still showing as "waiting" on my phone and in the "purchases not on phone" section of the App Store. I'm not sure what else to do at this point.
Any suggestions?

Try holding down on the app it will start wiggling on your screen, then tap the X on the upper left corner that will give your option to delete it. (If they are not showing on your home screen anymore) Try this Reset Set Network Setting. Go do Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings (this will remove any saved Wi-Fi passwords that are on this device) once you do the reset, go onto your phone and attempt to download that applications again. I am sure that your will no longer see the apps updating anymore.

Leopard seeing app as PowerPC and will not launch

I have a situation where Leopard is seeing an application hosted on a Mac server as a PowerPC app and will not launch it on some Intel Macs in my lab. However, the app is not a PowerPC app and will in fact launch correctly on other Intel Macs in my lab that are also running Leopard. On those Macs that it won't work on, the icon appears differently than on those where it will launch. Grayed out as PowerPC apps are supposed to on Intel Macs in Leopard. However, on those where it will launch the icon appears correctly. It's the same exact app though and the same exact OS on all workstations.
Has anyone seen this issue and if so, is there a way to resolve it?

I am fairly new at Xserve administration, but I got thrown in the fire and i need your help.

New Apps or updates not downloading. It says "waiting" and will not download on 4s

I have a new 4S. I tried to update my apps and they're just stuck on "waiting". Will not load. Help.

No messages pop up.
I am able to access the app store, browse and send/receive mail. so my internet connection is fine. Also my ipad works just fine over the same network.
The app is a very small file. (A flashlight app for iphone)

That's because the latest Podcast App is only for iOS 7. You have to go to AppStore and re-install a version compatible with 6.1.3

Itunes crashes and will not launch on Mac PC G5

I have a Mac PowerPC G5 Version 10.5.8 and Itunes Version 10. I signed up for the cloud a month ago if that means anything and now Itunes has been crashing and will not open or if it does it will crash when trying to play a song. Any suggestions or ideas to figure out how to make Itunes launch?

Why after Downloading iTunes update it wiped out library and will not launch?

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with one of the Windows OS dlls associated with Cryptographic Services.
I'd first try the fixit from the following Microsoft document. (One of the things it does is reregister your copy of the softpub.dll file.)
You cannot install some updates or programs
... but if you still get the issue, I'd try an sfc /scannow as per the instructions in the following document:

The notepad app says waiting and will not respond. No other apps are waiting. I have rebooted the iPad to no avail

Try this:
Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
Reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

I purchased mountain lion but it keeps saying waiting and will not download

I purchased mountain lion over a week ago and the file will not download. It stays in a waiting queue and never initiates to even say downloading. I have deleted app attempted reinstall on multiple occassions but no luck. Additionally I have deleted app store cache to try and alleviate any issues but nothing is working. Also I am currently deployed to Afghanistan so a trip to the apple store is out of the question. Also I know my location is not an issue cause it allows me to purchase and install other items just fine. Any insight?

You could pull the app store plist.
That's what I would try first. (~/library/prefrences/com.apple.appstore.plist)
Also, I think the ML is kept in another folder as well. Let me take a look.
Yeah, try pulling the folder inside of the application support folder inside fo the computer libarary.
Go>computer>mac hd>libarary>application support>app store
pull the files inside the "app store" folder to the desktop. If there are more then a few, I would make a new folder on the desktop to drag them into.
restart and try the download again. Delete the download of ML from the applications folder if there is one there.
Make sure you don't delete the files. We might need them still.

did you already try to reset your device by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes up again?
Did you try to tap on the icon until it starts to shake and then hit the little cross to delete it?

You give us very little to go on to help you here...
From what I can see, you appear to be running an iMac, but no details are provided f this is correct, or how old/new your system is. You talk about "taking money" and "not delivering" so I'm guessing that you purchased the Mountain Lion upgrade throught the Mac App store, and you are getting the "waiting" message while your computer uses your internet connection to download the 4+GB file needed to perform the install. The last time I did this, it took me computer several hours (4-5 I think) to download the full install image before it could proceed with the installation process.
If you would care to provide a few more details as to what you are tryign to do and what messages you are getting we might be able to assist you, but to an extent you are right, we other users here don't really "give a ****" about you having problems if all you want to do is whine about it and not try to get help.
