After i unlock my new iPhone 5 via iTunes, the App Store won't work anymore. I have to download and install apps with iTunes with PC connection. How can I solve this?

Why has Siri stopped working on iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 5? I've tried the disable and reboot but continue to get the network error.

Apple has not been forthcoming on the explanation. My Siri worked on my iphone4 (not 4s) immediately after upgrading to IOS5, but I take it they have redirected the servers that used to support Siri to only work with Iphone4s.
It is one thing for apple to only bundle the improved Siri with IPhone 4S, or for them to remove Siri from the Ap store.
But it is another thing all together for apple to purchase a company, and then cease the service that many of us paid for.
Attempts to contact apple at apple store and via email have been unhelpful.

App Store stopped working on Iphone 5 Ios 8

App store on my wife's Iphone 5 running Ios 8 stopped working initially to update two Apps (Line & Facebook Messenger). Troubleshooting so far:
- Hard reset.
- Logged out of App store, Hard reset, logged back in.
- Deleted Messenger, logged out of App store, Hard reset, logged back in. Now can't install Messenger at all!
- Tried with WiFi only.
- Tried with Cell only
- Tried hooked up to computer/Itunes
Really frustrating! When works the way it's supposed to I'll think about using Apple's spelling. For now it's Iphone, not iPhone.

I am having the same problem. My iPhone is 1 week old, and as of last night, 10/11/12, my app store would not function corretly. I can open the app store but the following tabs do not work: Featured, charts, and search. By "do not work" I mean that the gray spinning wheel will go for a while and then stop as if it is finished loading but the screed will still be blank aside from the top and bottom banners of the app. The Genius and Updates tab work fine. This is very annoying and nothing I have done so far has fixed it. I have restarted the app, restarted my phone, "hard" restarted my phone, and reset my network settings. I have also tried accessing the app store on wifi and 3g/4g and neither work. Everything has been done except a factory reset of my phone but I am avoiding that for now. I have seen MANY others in the forums with this concern so is there anyone that has successfully solved this problem?
Help would be much appreciated.

Itunes has stopped working and iphone calendar has 10 entries for each event

"itunes has stopped working", since I tried an update which failed.
Also when I plugged in my iphone it went straight to restore and not only lost all my recent stuff as you might expect - annoying enough, but has installed at least 10 entries for each event. How do I get rid of them? Tried deleting the event but it doesn't take away every single entry. (And can I get my recent stuff back?)
These are probably diffferent problems but as my name implies I'm a complete numpty when it comes to the technical terms so please, in lay terms, what should I do?

Well I seem to have solved this myself...Much to my surprise!
First the itunes issue. When the itunes update screen came up again it said if you have trouble with this go to Tools (top of itunes panel) and press "download only" which I did and the rest just sort of happened. It uninstalled and then installed.. All I had to do was open each file. Checked my stuff and all there. Checked itunes store and straight in.
Iphone calendar. Not sure how this happened but it had about 25 - 30 copies of each event. I went through each calendar and by process of elimination deleted the ones that seemed to be causing the problem. I didn't lose any events but all of a sudden there was only one each of them. Bizzaire but true.
This is a very rare day for me. A Good IT Day.

Yahoo mail suddenly stop working on iphone 4s

My yahoo mail suddenly stop working on my Iphone 4s, and it is not working with Icloud either. The inbox is completley empty. Please help

I could plug in a jack connected to a receiver and listen to Pandora on outdoor speakers. Suddenly it stopped working; my iPhone works fine plugged in to the jack. I rec'd a replacement iPad which won't play using the jack. Any clue?

Any idea on how to get the jack to work in the iPad? As I indicated in my question, the jack is connected to a receiver which is connected to outdoor speakers. The iPad worked well, allowing me to listen to Padora through the receiver. Suddenly the connection stopped working even though it works when plugged into my iPhone. I contacted Apple support who ended up sending me a replacement iPad. The jack does not work with the replacement iPad either! It still works with my iPhone. I am hoping someone "out there" can provide some insight that will get it all to work again. Thanks.

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!

Sound randomly stops working on Iphone 5c

The sound randomly will stop working. (ringers, audio, etc.) I have had this phone for one day.
Oddly enough, the same thing was going on with my iphone 5 which is a big reason I went and upgraded, now i am just very aggravated!
Anyone know what could be going on??

I have the same problem with my new 5c, seemingly carried over from when I upgraded from my old 3s that had the same problem - all sounds randomly stop working (although vibrate seems to still work) and then randomly start working again.
When you set up your new phone did you 'restore' from your old phone's back-up or set it up completely like a new phone? I did the former so I assume whatever the 'glitch' is, it may be something to do with that.
I called 1-800-MYIPHONE and was advised to do a hard reset - I questioned the point of that when I effectively started from scratch with my new phone only a few weeks ago (well, when I say from scratch I of course mean I 'restored' from my old phone's back-up so that all my stuff would carry over...), plus given the coincidence of having the same problem on my old phone... Next guidance was to restore the phone to factory settings and start over from 'new phone' status, which I did this afternoon... so far so good but we shall see. Imessage stops working on iPhone but works on iPad

Hi there!
My imessage will be working perfectly fine on my iPad and iPhone and then suddenly it will stop working on my iPhone but work on the iPad.
Over tried restarting my iPhone and the internet connection is fine as all other apps work fine on the iPhone.
And after 5 hours or so, my iPhone will have imessage working again?!
This keeps happening!

Go into MESSAGES under SETTINGS on each device and sign out of the account then sign back in. I've had some difficulty particular after upgrading to IOS 8 and signing out and back into the account has fixed it.
You may have tried this already but wanted to mention it.

Mail stopped working on iphone 4s

Today, my email stopped working on my iphone 4s. I use hotmail. When I click on the mail icon, I get the message, "Cannot Get Mail: The connection to the server has failed." All other web applications are working so I'm not sure what changed on my phone.

Try resetting your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

Mac email stopped working on iphone, ipad and macbook

As of the 16/09/14 my mac email address has stopped working on my ipad, iphone and MacBook Pro. I can log in through icloud using my browser and all works fine. But it no longer works on any of my devices.
Have Apple made any changes?

Ditto. As of some time last night (16 Sep 2014), outgoing email on my iPod Touch (1G!) ceased working (though fortunately I can still receive messages). Also on my iMac when I checked this morning, the wheel just spins endlessly for the smtp mac mail outgoing server (as shown on connection doctor). Fortunately I can still receive incoming mail. Also ditto when I log onto iCloud via web - all works fine including sending myself a message.
So, what's up?

Exchange email stopped working on iphone 4s and iPad3

Exchange email just stopped working on both iPad3 and iPhone 4s for no apparent reason. My PC is windows7 and using office 365 and receiving email OK. Suddenly both my Apple devices are saying "user name or password for Exchange is incorrect". Any ideas?? I am still on iOS5.1.1 and not 6. Appreciate your help in advance.

It sounds like you have either a locked out account or your password expired. Please reset your password then go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Click on the account with the issue and re-enter your new password.
This should resolve your issues.

Email stopped working on iPhone 4. Any suggestions?

I recently restored my iPhone 4 from the iTunes backup. Since this time, my emails have stopped working even though the underlying account still operate ( btinternet.com) and my iPad still operates ok. Any suggestions on settings that may have changed - I have reinterred the password ( in and outbound) but this still does it work. Thanks

It will if it is a POP/POP3 account and the email is no longer on the server to fetch again. It won't if it is an IMAP or exchange account.

All Google and Twitter apps have stopped working on iPhone 6

I've had a new iPhone 6 for about a month now and suddenly on the same day last week, all google/twitter related apps have completely stopped working, like they can't access my network connection.
Google Maps, Hangouts, and Gmail are all showing the same issue, they say there is no network connection even though there is.
Twitter won't even let me sign in because it says it can't locate the server when I enter my login credentials (and I've tried multiple accounts, all with correct information). Most odd is that even 3rd party twitter apps like Tweetbot don't seem to work either, as they won't let me login. When I try to login using the Twitter section of iPhone settings, it tells me my login info is incorrect even though I have checked multiple times and it is.
I've tried deleting all of these apps and re installing, to no avail.
Anyone?

Health kit app stopped working on iphone 6

Has anyone elses app stopped working. It won't sync with jawbone or my fitness pal and it doesn't seem to keep the setting you add. I have tried rebooting but nothing works.

I debugged this on the actual iPhone 6 that was having the problem and I saw that it was failing when the token returned by the server was being stored in session storage.
I called up Apple support and spent a fair bit of time on the phone with them. The page was working on other iPhone 6 devices but not this one. After trying a few different settings and confirming it was working on Chrome, the fantastic Apple support person asked me to see if the page was set to 'private'.
On the bottom right of the safari browser, you click an icon and you can set individual websites to 'private'. Unchecking this made the website work and I could store the token in session storage. It appears that my client accidentally set the website to 'private' and this was causing the issue.
Hopefully this will save someone else some time with a similar issue. Full credit to Apple support who spent over an hour to resolve this issue.

Touch ID stopped working on iPhone 6

Got a new iPhone 6.
Initially the touch ID setup seemed fine, but after a day it seemed to stop working - as though it couldn't detect that a finger was on the home button.
Adding a fingerprint wouldn't work.
Did a reset/restart and the had partial joy, but the sensor seemed to stop working part way through learning my thumb and then refused to recognise a finger.
Sounds like a possible hardware malfunction to me.
What chance getting a replacement at an Apple store? Or at least finding someone to look at it?
