Sure you can. You can use gift cards for the iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore and of course also for In-App Purchases.

    If you mean in-app purchases, yes, in most cases a gift balance will work. Some apps do not accept gift balances, but I've not heard of a game where that is the case.

    I don't believe that you can purchase additional storage with gift cards. Additional storage will be an annual subscription, Apple will need to know how you are going to pay next year and every year after that.
