ok so we bought an ipod touch for my daughter and when she connected it to the computer after she downloaded itunes, she was asked if it was her ipod or a new one, so she clicked on her ipod and lost all her recent pics plus is unable to locate the app store on her safari on her ipod touch. any suggestions as to what went wrong or what should be done ? should we restore or what?
much appreciated if there is anyone else who had this happen to them.- The iPod got erased since it sounds iTunes identified that the iPod has been synced with another computer and she said yes to making this computer her syncing computer. It could also she restored the iPod from the backup of another iPod, iPhone or iPad that was in iTunes. If in iTunes you go to Preferences>Devices is there a backup listed for her iPod with a date/time when she first connected the iPod to the computer. If so then restore the iPod from that backup.

- Regarding the App store. The App store is not in Safari. It is a separate app. Also, could the Apple store be hidden by Restrictions? Settings>General>Restrictions. Further, can you find the App store via the Spotlight search on the iPod? -

Try resetting ...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
You won't lose any data as a result of a reset. -
turn my phone to send Verizon wireless and those instead of the stuff found. I'm not in charge $600 for the for the phone. I'll talk to multiple customer service reps and nothing has really been done about anything other then we'll keep looking or so for stretching it out. since September I've been dealing with thison a month-to-month basis they cut my services they reinstate me and tell me that they're going to knock off the reconnection charge as I have four lines. Unfortunately my main reason for this phone is my work emails which I need to do because I do work and to contact my mother who is 85 years old and I'm the sole caregiver. I don't know what else to do. I have spoken to a supervisor by the name of William or Will oats in that he said he was going to look into it and was going to help me out. Never heard from him again- just original email to quiet me down. I've been sending him emails just about every day trying to make sure that I get my message across. Seems like Verizon Wireless really doesn't care about the long-term customers. Looking forward to hearing from someone that can help me with my plight.process is faulty for returns. You don't accept them in the stores because as one customer service rep stated you can't get your own employees to send the devices back. Now the responsibilities is on the customer the paying customer the one that keeps you alive. And it's not fair that I there's no way I can prove that I put it in the mailbox. So what are my next stepswhat is it that I need to do to clear up this charge of $600. It's about economy as $600 to me at this very point it's a lot of money. I've been your customer for 10 years I've got four lines I've given will my mothers telephone number home number..number but now she's got to sit by the phone to make sure that she picks up all the calls. And nobody can hear what I have to sayand nobody has been able throughout all these months and check your notes check your notes to see how many times I've called how many time you cut my services how many times you reinstated me and how many times that I spent an hour and a half to two hours on the phone going through this process. In August 2014, my son went to Target to get a new cell phone and was told his Unlimited Data would still be on his plan (he shared a line on his grandfathers account). Well it turned out that Target messed it up and my son immediately called Verizon to get it taken care of but they were not able to do anything about the lost unlimited data but the customer service rep did try to find the best offer for him. In the mean time Verizon was suppose to send him a new cell phone, they never sent it and he was without a phone so he took his business to another cell provider. Verizon DID charge him for the new service that they had spoke about. So when the new bill (Sept) came, the service he never used was on the bill and when we called to inquire about it we spoke to a Judy and told us we would be receiving a credit of the amount that was paid. Well, we got the next months bill (Oct) and still no credit, so called them again and spoke to a Nadine ** . She looked into the account and saw the amount that was paid and said she would submit it again for a credit and she would get back to me in 2 days, no call back.
The next bill (Nov) came and no credit again, call again but didn't get the girls name and she put me on hold to look over the previous conversations. She said she sees in the records about the credit and said it takes a while to get it thru the supervisor authorization and she would put it in as a "rush priority". On Dec. 5th my dad's cell was turned off, so I call yet again to Verizon, and explain the whole story to them again. This girl explained to me that the request was not put in correctly and that she would submit it right this time, they even turned the cell back on for him.
So here we are today, Dec. 30, 2014, I get the bill...NO CREDIT, call up and get a gentleman in billing, explain this whole thing again and he transferred me over to customer service where I spoke to a Jordan and yet again told him the story. By this time I was fuming, 3 almost 4 months of calling for this credit and he looks into the account and tells me there is nothing that states there is a credit so all the other customer service reps see it but now it is gone. He said he can only issue me a $25 credit to the bill, not even close to what the bill was that I paid. At this point I wanted to speak to a Supervisor and even that was a problem.
He did call me back after my phone died. He put me on hold again to speak to a supervisor himself and said that he can only offer me $100 credit for all my troubles for the past few months. I took the $100 credit because Jordan said if I spoke to the supervisor, the $100 credit might not be an offer anymore so it was either take it or leave it. Now where I stand, they get away with NOT giving the credit due to customers. I am done with Verizon.
today being March 12, 2015, he FINALLY got the said $100 credit...but because of their delay, he service was shut off and I refuse to pay the reconnection fee due to their neglect of a customer of over ten years. My father's service will NO longer be with a place that has NO VALUE in customer service....Verizon robs their customers anyway they can. -
if i purchase itunes match will it come out of my itunes account if i have available money or will it come out my bank account?
Interesting - I just installed match and my balance disappeared. It asks for, and I entered, I credit card. It makes no mention of clearing out your redeemed balance of itunes gift cards. This should be made much clearer. Now I will have to check with my credit card company to ensure only the balance of what was not covered by my itunes gift card balance was charged for match - not the full amount on my credit card as the forms make you believe will occur.

If you are referring to the temporary store holding charge as described on the page that you posting, which is 'charged' each time that you change the card details on your account, then it should disappear off the card within a few days or so - though it varies by bank, and with it now being the weekend it might an extra day or two. If they haven't disappeared within a week of them being made then you could contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
Also some apps may be free to download but they then allow you to make in-app purchases to unlock extra features within them - you can turn off in-app purchases via Settings > General > Restrictions on your phone. -
I think I'm being charged for free apps?
Hi...I'm wondering, if there is any such thing as someone being charged to for free apps? I've been looking at my banking statements for the past few months & it looks like I'm being charged for apps that I downloaded for free. I recently lost my credit card & had to get a new one. When, I changed my credit card information on Itunes, that's when I noticed I was being charged. I often download music on Itunes & upload my magazines to my Ipad,but these aren't only things I'm being charged for. Most of the apps I download are the free ones. It makes me not want to update my apps, because I know I'm charged. Please help me!
I have solved the problem I was showing negative balance in my bank so iTunes needs to verify my account by taking £1.00 every app.

I'm trying to migrate from mobileMe to iCloud but I have Snow Leopard (the latest version). It looks like Lion is no longer available because Mountain Lion comes out next month (July). The problem is mobileMe ends on June 30th. How can I migrate?
My iphone and my ipad are compatible but when I try to go to icloud on my phone it says to do it on my computer.
I would like to have my calendar, contacts, etc.. all sync like they do now. Is there a way to upgrade before June 30th? If not, will the gap be an issue or will I just be able to buy mountain lion and sync everything?
Any suggestions?
Thank you!You can buy Lion in the App Store now, but move to iCloud now. If you wait to Mountain Lion, you will only have Mail in Snow Leopard, so you will lose syncing unless you use Lion or Mountain Lion. It's up to you

rYou are not talking to Apple here, these are user-to-user forums, and are not monitored by Apple. If you have just added the credit card to your iTunes account then you are likely to be just seeing a small holding charge (in the US it would $1) which is temporarily 'charged' to the card to check that it's valid and active - in which case it will disappear in a day or two.
If the charge is larger, and you are not buying paid-for apps (or using in-app purchases and you've checked your purchase history on your account in iTunes on your computer) then try the iTunes Store Account And Billing section on this page http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/ -
okay so i recorded a song but each part comes out as like take 1, i have 10 takes. how can i put them all together as one take, to make one song all in one take not small pieces of a song. like i hit record and sang the entire song but when i hit play it was in pieces not just one song like it was in ten takes. is there any way i can blend it all into one take, to make one clear song?
You're not very clear in stating your problem. Maybe it's terminology: "takes" in recording lingo (and in GB lingo) are different version of exactly the same part in a song, so you only want one of them in the end. Please tell us exactly what you did and what it is that you don't like.

please suggest??You can't transfer any content from one account to another account (nor can accounts be merged) - all content will remain tied to the account that downloaded it.
Do you not have copies of all of your downloads e.g. on your computer or backup of your downloads/library ? Whilst you are in Australia you can't redownload your UK purchases (you have to be in a country to use its store), if you have them on your computer's iTunes library then you should be able to stream them from it to your Apple TV
