I downloaded an album. One song would not download because the file was corrupted. Tried several more times, but no luck. What should I do next?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

    Problem Fixed:
    Remove the song from your itunes library, then go to the itunes store and try to download it again. It will say something like "this song has already been purchased, would you like to download it again for free?". Click yes, and it will download again. This worked for me, hope it helped

    You can try recovery mode to see if you can revive the iPad.

  • HT1657 I downloaded (and paid for), a movie and when I attempted to open it, the computer told me to trash it because the file was damaged. This support site is absolutely unhelpful and I feel as if I'm running through a maze... ridiculous.

    I paid for a rental and couldn't find the download. When I did locate the file and tried to open it, a message appeared telling me to trash it because the file was damaged. Can't believe this. It's getting late, wanted to relax with a movie and have spent the last 20 minutes trying to troubleshoot.

    I have just checked your account and found that you indeed have bought a Creative Cloud for Teams subscription but you have assigned the single seat to another user hence you ( If you are using your own Adobe ID ) are getting the trial error message.
    Two options : Either reassign the seat to your self or add an additional seat and invite your self in the same Team.

    Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that song from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
    If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

    Same problem.  Certain songs simply cannot be deleted.   I'd love someone to acknowledge it's a bug.

    I recently purchased 2 albums on iTunes, although I was billed for them, 3 songs did not download, they are not in the 'to be downloaded' screen either.  At first they did show up in my Purchase file, however, there was a large black dot by them and they were grayed out.  Is there anyway to restore them or do I have to call support?   • I can't download a movie because, the files are corrupt. Deleting tmp files doesn't solve it.

    I'm trying to download The Social Network, but every time it gets to 10mb downloaded, it goes down to zero KB, and starts over and will loop once or twice until finally saying the file is corrupt and giving me an error 8008. I deleted the tmp file on my MacBook Pro, and that didn't solve it. I also tried on my Windows PC on an entirely different network and it did the exact same thing. Is this a server problem on the host's part? Thanks in advance for any help in regards to this issue.

    Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the <u>Desktop</u>.

    I purchased The Odyssey by Symphony X (by clicking the buy album button) and the entire album downloaded except one song, the album-only, 24 minute long The Odyssey.
    Naturally I'm a bit upset. I tried clicking Check for Purchases, and it says I have no more songs to download. iTunes is not currently downloading any songs on that separate page.
    I'm posting here because I couldn't find an iTunes support phone number and my experiences using Itunes support email in the past were less than effective. So if anyone could provide me with a phone number, that would be phenomenal.

    There is no telephone support for the iTunes Store. Contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of their Download FAQ web page and explain the problem to them.
