Not sure why App Store can be deleted. But how do reinstall in case it's deleted?
This App Cannot be Deleted...
Check in All Folders and on All Pages/Screens...
Check in Restrictions...
Settings > General > Restrictions

If no joy...
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen

It's likely that you removed it from the Dock. The is a shortcut to the App Store in the menu. The app should be in the Applications folder. You can drag & drop it back onto the Dock. -

Not possible to delete any of the apps included with the OS/firmware.
Do you have Restrictions enabled at Settings > General > Restrictions?
If so, is iTunes turned on as a Restriction?
If yes, this will remove the app from being available to use but doesn't delete the app. -

They cannot be deleted. They may have been moved. Use the spotlight search to launch Settings, and then go to General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
To get to the spotlight search page, flick your screens to the right until the search screen appears. (It's the leftmost screen.) -

Reinstall the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 which should replace it. If it does not then you will need to reinstall Snow Leopard and then the combo updater.

You can't, at best you could Restore the iPad using the latest back up to get back to the time the back up was made. If you backed up the iPad after you deleted the app you will have to start over.

Another way is to open your Time Machine back up or clone (if you have one) and copy the App Store app from the /Applications to your Macintosh HD's /Application folder.
Right click on the Time Machine icon in the Menu Bar.
Select Enter Time Machine; then navigate to a date you know it was still there and copy if from the /Applications folder. -

ThanksYou can see if it download on your iTunes and than sync it, if thats uncomfortable for you, you can just go back to app store and download it again.

Make sure its not on another Homescreen Page or in an app folder. If you still cannot locate it try checking Settings>General>Restrictions>iTunes Store and make sure it is ON.

I think you can only get app data back if you reinstall the app and then restore the iPod from backup. The app should contain the dat up to the time the backup was made.

It can't be deleted, it's one of the built-in apps. You've checked all your homescreen and app folders for it, and is it hidden by Settings > General > Installing Apps being set 'off' ?

App Store Application broken: can not connect to "iTunes Store"

I've upgraded to 10.6.6 and when I start the App Store application I see the app window with a white background telling me "Please wait a moment." and "Connecting to the iTunes Store." and nothing happens. It tries to connect forever. I also can not sign-in with my account - it sits and loads forever.
Maybe I just need to delete a cache or something. Any help is appreciated!

I was using 10.6.5, and manually downloaded and installed 10.6.6 hoping it would fix the problem, but it didn't. Now I also cannot connect to the app store. I have also tried repairing the permissions.
