HT204266 My App Store shows 5 apps to update, but all I get is a white screen. What do I do?
Using my ipad it indicates 5 app need updating. When I attempt, all I get is a blank white screen. What do I need to do to update my apps? Has worked just fine all year, until now.
There are a number of other threads from people reporting a problem with a blank Updates tab in the App Store app - it looks like there is a problem at Apple's end which they need to fix.
Some posts are suggesting that you if you go into the Purchased tab in the App Store app you might be able to update the apps from there, though you will need to scroll through the list (potentially going through the A to Z list on the left-hand side of the screen, and similarly tapping the 'iPad Apps' button at the top left of the screen and selecting 'iPhone Apps') to find those with updates and individually update them.

There have been numerous reports on the forum today regarding this issue. It seems to be an issue at Apple, but no information has been posted on the status site.

Sounds like you broke it. Get it replaced for $149 or buy a new phone.

App Store shows I have 2 updates, but when I go to App Store it won't load the updates screen but will load all other menus.
I have the same problem. Closed App Store after double tapping Home button twice. I tried logging out of App Store and back in. Also did App Store updates in computer and updated everything when i synced iPhone with iTunes. Nothing works. App Store updates still frozen in iPhone.

I have tried to install Creative Cloud but I just get a blank white screen with a black Creative Cloud bar at the top. There are no options to choose 'Apps' etc. Can anyone help?
What happened yesterday may have been caused by the SOPA protest action that was joined by a lot of sites yesterday and such an action won't happen that often.

Yes, there are not that many apps that still works with a 2G with 4.2.1. -
mm, I was deleting some files last night and when I came to booting up this morning my Macbookpro (5 years old) i was greeted with a user login screen? put in my password, but all i get is the space screen and no further action...? cant get apps o my bar
Sounds like you may have deleted something you shouldn't have. Boot to an OS X DVD or a bootable backup, and using Disk Utility, do a repair disk, and while there repair permissions. Disconnect any peripherals, and reboot. If you get the same startup behavior, do a safe boot, by holding the shift key down when booting. If that works, try a normal boot. If neither step helps, you may need to relaod your operating system.

When I launch the cloud app (windows 8.1) all i get is a blank screen.
When I launch adobe cloud app all i get when it launches is a blank screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the adobe site and have also renamed the OOBE folder but to no avail.
What is wrong with the app. It was working fine until recently.

Please rename OOBE Folder from the following location:
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
After renaming the OOBE folder please restart the machine and then launch the application once again.
Do let me know if it work or if it gives you any issues.

Can't login to the store,get a blank white screen
I am running the latest Itunes, on a Mac running OS 10.5.8. I can open Itunes, but when I try to reach the store all I get is a white screen. Upon itunes shutdown a page of errors is listed as long as your arm. Any thoughts on how to fix this.
In iTunes prefs>Store - is the Store check box unchecked?
Did you repair pemissions with Disk Utility?

My App Store shows 3 updates but when I go to it the screen is blank. It will not give me the option to update all or one at a time, it doesn't show the apps at all.
Many people are having this problem for the last couple of days. This is a problem that Apple has to fix. If you look around the forum, you will see many, many discusssions about this and they have been going on for a few days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this is a workaround - for the time being.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. -
App Store showing updates but all apps up to date
App Store icon on iPad is showing there is 1 update, but when App Store is launched all apps are up to date (there are no updates to be applied).
iPad has been sync'ed with iTunes and everything is up to date.
iPad has been restarted after updating to iOS 8.1.1.
App Store continues to display "1" in update badge.
What to do now?ATtempt to power off your device and power it back on, if that doesn't work reset all settings should resolve it for you

App Store shows that I have 9 updates but all Apps are up to date I have tried re downloading all the updates. All Apps show the correct version number post update.
I have the same issue with one App in the App Store. The app is installed and current. But the App Store says I have an update. I tried restarting. No help.

You can either wait it out or a work around has been found. In the app store click on the purchased tab. Your apps should come up and you can manually download each app (the apps that have updates will have banners on them)

i keep getting banner that there is 8 apps to be updated, when i go to the App Store it says all app are updated, how do i get this to stop?
It seems that every time I start up the IPad the banner over ITunes shows 8 or more in the banner. I have completly signed off of the ipad and it still comes up. Any suggestions? It seems to have coincided with IOS 7 being released, I have not downloaded IOS 7 to my IPad or my Iphone at this time.I"m not sure exactly what to do because once I got mine sorted out I can't exactly replicate it to test it, but it's like somehow your ID gets messed up.
I tried to download an app, then Apple thought that I'd never bought anything from my device so went through the whole 'give your secret questions' thing and ended up having to call apple to get them to reset.
Long story short, the inability to update has something to do with the App Store not recognizing your device, even though part of it does recognize your device (which is why you get the little badges)
You could try downloading a free app and see if you can verify your ID. Or you can poke around in here
