When my apps need updating I go to AppStore but when it asks for password I type in my password but it say your password will not work in the US AppStore

What is your home country where you originally set up your iTune account?

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

As suggested try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
Also, it might help if you provide a little more detail on what you mean by "not working"

If you weren't able to sync the purchases to a computer previously and now your iPod needs to be restored so you can't sync it now, then you may be out of luck and will need to purchase your content again. Officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications and iBooks. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
You can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis. But don't count on it.

I appreciate the info and realize that the Nook App is not related to my Apple account but this too has stopped working. My situation first started with the Nook App not down loading and then has now spread to my IBook and new app downloads. I have checked into my ITunes account and the ID and password are correct and at times when I am asked to submit my Apple password such as setting up this Apple Support Community the ID and password work. My problem seems to be just with trying to use my ID and password when wanting to download new books or apps. I can go into the IBook, Nook, and App stores and seemingly download an item but when clicking on the new book or app nothing happens and I get a message that states it can not get into the ITunes store and it wants me to either try again or cancel. This message appears usually ten minutes after I have tried to make a purchase. At other times when I attempt to download a book or app I lose the screen and the IPad goes into the opening screen. Try perform below steps.
Open task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys. Click on more details if the option available.
Then end all Adobe related processes, including Creative Cloud and Coresync ( if running )
Then hold windows key on your keyboard and Press R key.
It will open Run window
In Run window, type Appdata and click on Ok
Open Local > Adobe folders
Delete AAMUpdater and OOBE folders
Then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Delete Adobe Application Manager and OOBE folders
Go back to Program Files (x86) and Open Adobe folder
Try deleting Adobe Creative Cloud folder, if it is not allowing rename it to Adobe Creative Cloudold
Download and install Creative Cloud App from below link
