HI my 4 year old son purchased an $11 app that I do not want. How do I return it for a refund?

All purchases are considered final, but you can try contacting iTunes support and explain what happened and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
To try and stop it happening again, depending upon what version of iOS that you have on your iPad, you might be able to set Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password to 'immediately', and you can also turn off in-app purchases via the Restrictions screen.

  • HT4461 Want to refund app purchased in App store Mac. It's done by mistake happened 2hr earlier.

    App name is "Bundle for MS Office" which made me to think of 'Microsoft Office bundle'. I could see so many people did like me and don't understand why App store team let them do this on. Obviously I want to get refunded and would like to understand how to do this.

    Apple considers all sales final. It is hard to believe what you say unless you actually buy things that you know nothing about. The first line of the description would alert most people to that fact this isn't a MS Office bundle!
    Ask for a refund, it can't hurt.

  • Keeping a refunded app.

    Due to an almighty ****-up on Apple's part, they have refunded me for an App on my iphone 4s I didn't want refunded so I've decided to keep it however they told me if I uninstall it for whatever reason I'll lose it and have to pay for it again.  I'm looking to reformat my computer soon and am worried that once I re-install itunes and log in it will not download the app and I'll lose it as soon as I sync my iphone.
    Is there a way I can keep this on my phone whilst still re-installing itunes after a format?

  • Refund App?

    Hello,
    so, I downloaded the app Backstab from App Store to my iPad and it worked fine for a little bit but now I don't know if it's because of the new IOS7 but it completely stopped working. I tried deleting it and downloading it again and it still doesn't work. It's a waste of money to buy an app that doesn't work.
    Please tell me if there is a way to refund this!

    How can I "return" an app?  I gifted an app to my dad who actually already has the app.  How do I get a refund?

    All purchases are considered final, but if the app isn't working as described in the store and you haven't got any response from the app's developer then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
    If the app is workins as it was described then you can try contacting iTunes support, but they might not give you a refund or credit : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store.

    Are you putting in the address where the bank sends the monthly statement?
    Apple's servers are very picky about the format of the address. If you live in the USA, then the server is expecting the style that the US Postal Service uses. One way to do this is to use the USPS ZIP Code lookup service;

    Enter the address to look up the ZIP code and then copy the exact USPS output into your iTunes account information.

    Hi. For the last three days I have been trying to update my apps on my iPhone 4S but my phone won't allow me to.
    When I go to the app store and click the upsate all botton it does nothing. Same when I click on a single app. My phone is on the latest iOs software and I currently have 11updates available for my apps. I have tried updating them via iTunes on the computer and I have even restarted my phone and nothing has changed.
    Help me please. What else can I do to try and get my apps updated.

    In one sense you are correct but updating apps individually seems to be less problematic. Have you tried restarting your iPad? Have you tied a Reset? [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!
