I just purchased a new retina iPad. I have it setup. I have purchased two apps no problem. Now, when I try to purchase more apps it tells me to contact Apple support. What gives?

What gives is for some reason a red flag went up when you attempted to make another purchase. But the bottom line is, you will not be able to purchase again until you get it straightened out with iTunes Store Support so contact them as instructed.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Credit from a gift card is tied to your Apple ID & can be used in the iTunes Store or the Mac App Store. I'm not sure if it works in the online Apple Store, though. You do need to be running at least Snow Leopard 10.6.6 to access the Mac App Store. Click on the buy link on this page to open the Mac App Store to Numbers.

First, I recommend following these steps:
If you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found"
Verify that the printer:
Has power and is turned on. If it has power, turn the printer off and then on again to see if that resolves the issue.
Is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.
Has the latest firmware version installed.
Has paper with enough ink or toner installed.
Is free of any errors displayed on the printer's control panel.
If necessary, consult the printer documentation or contact the printer vendor for help with the above steps.

If you are still having trouble printing after following those steps, I recommend these steps:
Wi-Fi disconnects, or signal strength is less than expected
Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
Check for sources of potential interference.
Remove any case, stand, or other accessories from your iOS device and see if signal strength improves.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN and APN settings.

I purchase a ipad from a friend. I set up an apple id on my ipad. Iam trying to set up a itunes account for this ipad, i have had a itunes account in the past, but my apple id is the same only with a 36 at the end of my apple id. When I log into itunes to

create a new account, it tells me that I already have an account and it won't let me create a new account, how do i cancel that old itunes account and create a new one with my new apple e-mail address?
Also when I select on my ipad free apps, it pops up with the previous owner apple id on it, how can I change that to my apple id?

From the information that you have provided, it sounds like your Apple ID has been disabled. You can read this to see how you can troubleshoot that issue.

You can try signing out of your ID on the iPad and sign in with his ID and see if that works.
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Then sign in with your husband's newly created ID.

Cannot purchase anything with iTunes 8.0.2

Last week when I upgraded there was no problem. I agreed to the new TOS and that was that.
Now suddenly I cannot purchase anything. I'm getting an error message about a problem on the iTunes Store's side regarding "credit" that I know I do not have. The error states that I can pay using a different method, but I can't. No credit card, no debit card, no PayPal.
I have signed in and out.
I have shut down and restarted.
I have deauthorized and reauthorized.
None of this has worked.
I am in the US using a US-based account and I don't have any iTunes credit to begin with so this is especially infuriating.
Am I the only person experiencing this problem?

No, you are not the only one. I'm having the same issue with my store credit. The only information I can find on this issues comes from these forums; nothing at all in the "Possible iTunes for Windows Errors" section on the support website. On every thread I've seen, the service just eventually starts working again.
So, I guess it's just a waiting game at this point, since Apple has never addressed the issue, and has no documentation admitting that it even exists.
I love it when developers create an error message, and provide absolutely no documentation or support for it.

Trace recording cannot be activated for system

Hi All,
I am trying to record a dynamic TBOM from SOLAR01. When i am pressing the button to create TBOM, system is throwing me the below message "Trace recording cannot be activated for system".
I have checked all the prerequisite and the authorization requirements as mentioned in the post " SAP Community Network Wiki - Solution Manager - Prerequisites to TBOM creation from SAP TAO" and have assigned to the respective user. But still system is showing the same error message.
Please help to rectify this issue.

I suggest you start a new question that gives a good title to a specific problem. Then in the body of the thread describe the problem in detail, tell us what steps you have tried so far to correct the problem, what happened, and what error messages you received.

That would be by far the best solution. And it would make the backup easier. You could include the "Aperture" drive in your Time Machine backup. With the original files stored on your Time Machine volume there is no way that Time Machine could back them up.
Use Disk Utility to format the new drive "MacOS X Extended (Journaled)".
Set the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag. (select the drive in the Finder, use "File > Get Info ⌘I)
In the "Get Info" panel your drive should look like this:

Cannot add exchange email on ipad mini

Just got an iPad mini retina 64 Gb with iOS 7.1.2.
After ADDING EMAIL ACCOUNT, choosing EXCHANGE and entering the email address + password of the Exchange account, nothing happens even after 60 minutes (only the small circle sirling for ever).
I did the same procedure with my iPad and it works fine...
Any thoughts ?

The process for adding an e-mail account for iPad Mini is the same as for the iPad. Have tried re-setting the iPad Mini? Hold "Home" and "Power/Sleep" button at the same time until the Apple goo appears. After the restart go into mail and delete the account you tried to set up if it is there and then re-add it.
