HT204266 When is a Free App not Free?
According to Apps Gone Free, 'Pure Meditation-Premium' should be free, but when I go to itunes it is $1.99. Will I be charged if I download it?
Pure Meditation Premium shows as being $1.99 for me as well, so it is not free. It would appear that Apps Gone Free is wrong or out of date.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

Go to Solution.Hello, Premkoli. Which specific apps are you referring to? Are these apps downloaded from the Store, or preloaded ones? When you say 'my apps not working with tata docomo only', does it mean that these apps work with other SIM cards aside from TaTa Docomo? How did you update your Nokia C2-00? Is it by going to Settings > Phone > Device Updates > Check for updates, or via Nokia Suite?
Since the issue started after the software update, you can try to reinstall the phone's SW via Nokia Suite. Just download it on your PC, and then connect the phone via a compatible USB cable. After that, launch Nokia Suite, and the go to SW Updates > Device Software Updates > Reinstall current SW. After that, try opening the same apps and see if they'll work with your Docomo SIM card. I'm using a mid 2014 13" rmbp. I reinstall the Yosemite due to the wifi issue, when finished, the iMovie was not installed, I try to download it from app store, but it's not free. How can I get iMovie back?
It's something to do with the main user account (not iTunes account) on my Mac because I logged in with another account and it downloaded fine, I installed it on the HDD and even though the date in App Store was 16th October 2014, it is the full installer of 10.10.2.
To try to resolve this problem, I have copied the installer app elsewhere and deleted it but App Store still will not allow me to download it with my main user account yet just allowed me to update iTunes.
I had a brainwave last night that it might have been related to me changing the default downloads folder to one not on my boot drive (to save disk space on my main boot drive) but having changed it back, tried again, rebooted and tried yet again, deleted my App Store preferences. nothing has worked. -

I don't want my kids to see those "free" apps that nag you to spend real money and download their other apps!
I can hide them from "purchased apps", but they still show up when browsing for new apps!
Is there a way to hide them so that my kids will never see them when looking for new apps?Not other than parental oversight. On the computer you can implement Parental Controls on a separate user account that they would use. You can then block certain websites. But you cannot do that on the iPad.
You could change your iTunes account such that they cannot access it in order to buy or download apps. -
I just updated my ipad2 to ios7 0.2 latest update, but when I go to apps store to upgrade I don't see the upgrade button besides each app, nor when I go in for new apps I don't see free button to download new apps. Is there any setting that missed ? please help...
What do you see instead of update on the apps you are concerned about?
When updating to iOS 7 auto update for apps will be turned on. When an app has an update available your iPad will download and install the update with no input from you. Apps that have been updated by this automatic process but which have not yet been opened will show a blue dot before their name.
A record of updated apps is kept for your convenience. You can see this record by using the App Store app and select Updates, the right most choice in the bottom row. -

I'm not sure if this answers your question. I will update them in iTunes. Then I will connect my phone and in the phone controls I can click the "Update" button and it will change to "Will Update" but doesn't.
That's part of the problem. Once upon a time, iTunes would just automatically update apps from the computer to the phone and now it apparently requires prompting that doesn't work. -

When you have buy a new device or upgrade to iOS 8, you'll have access to free apps (http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202794).
If you want to download these free apps later connecting via iTunes on your Mac, when signed in, it seems that iTunes will charge you for the full amount purchasing the app.
The apps seems not to be free anymore, although when you try to download these apps with your device it is hard to find it in the first place in the app store.
Finally when you find the apps made by apple, you can download it for free on your device. This is strange when signed in on Mac or iPhone/iPad in the same account.

For about three weeks I haven't been able to download any apps, not even the free ones. My apple id billing information says that my security code on the back of my credit card is invalid. I called apple support and they told me to go to the express lane website but I still cant find a fix for my problem. If you could help me out that would be superb!!!!
Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

I have a wonderful iPod 5 but when I download an app it won't show up but it has more than 3 gigs left no matter weather it's free bought redownloaded it won't show up no matter AppStore it won't open the app search dosent show the app. Syncing dosent do anything if you have the same problem or know how to fix this without jailbreak plz tell me!!!!

I downloaded an app when it was free and deleted it accidently. Now it is $.99. Can I download it for free since I've downloaded it once already? Just to be clear, I didn't syn my phone with my computer when I had the app. The particular app I want to download again just have install button instead of $0.99 then Buy App.
I also have a question on how to pay apps. Itunes require you to put a credit card information to creat an account, but I took off my CC information after I created it. Since my account doesn't have any credit card information, how does apple charge me if I buy an app? Is it even possible to purchase one unless I put CC or giftcard on my account?You can redownload all purchased apps for free. To obtain any paid content will require some form of payment. If you don't have a credit card, redeem an iTunes gift card or pre-pair debit card.

when i unchek the card information it was show me an error!Though you are being asked for card details it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you want to gift content). Have you tried entering your card's details to confirm the account ? You should then be able to remove it.
