When trying to download the facebook app on my new IPAD 2.....it tells me PayPal is not accepted. I have an Itues account for my Ipod but didn't think I had PayPal setup as a payment option??
Are you doing it thru the Settings panel or are you downloading independently thru the App Store?
Settings / Facebook / Install on iOS 6.1.3 Will need to sign in your valid FB account.

the iPad is totally new to me. I can't seem to do anything with my Apple ID. As the title says, I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error. It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url. Cancel or Retry. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item (free or paid-for) from the store.

I am using an Mac PPC version 10.5.8 and I am trying to download the correct version of Flash Player. I did once but I had to install a "Clean Install" of my computer and when finished I had put back the new Flash Player I just installed well every time I try install the new player it is place in my Trash Folder and I can not get Player to work. Solution:
Open Disk Utility.
Select your external hard disk and run a “verify” on it. After a few minutes (depending on the size of your drive), you should be good to go. You don’t need to run a “repair” on it... (at least I didn’t have to). See photo for reference.
This should fix the permissions issue, because on my Mac running Mountain Lion I was unable to edit the permissions in the get info dialog window even after "unlocking" the drive. -

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START/CONTROL PANEL/Programs n Features/highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR
