If you are no longer using the Apple ID with your AOL User Name, and you do not have any purchases that you may want in future tied to that ID, you don't have to do anything. If you think you may ever want to access past purchases done on that ID, you need to change it to a valid email address.

Please steer me in the right direction...Another option is to talk to the PLC using Modbus. Several versions of Modbus drivers are available online--or I could send you the ones I use.
The big thing to look at is exactly what you want to do in the end. If you are going to be able to use all the features of the DSC, by all means go for it. It will save you a lot of time.
If however, all you want is a remote front panel for the PLC, the DSC might be overkill. Only you can say.
Look at your entire application and where you can see your work going in the reasonable future.

Firefox and Yahoo suddenly, for me, stopped working insofar as being able to open my mail.
I removed Firefox from my system and re-loaded it. Same problem.Hmmmm, http://www.seattlepi.com/ loads fine hear in 10.4.11, FF 3.6.8, but I do see it uses some kind of Flash.
The last really supported Flash for PPC was 10.1.102.64, but if it's for like Facebook or such, people have been fooling FB to think they have a leter version installed.

(If you are running a PPC Mac with Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and are having problems with watching videos on FaceBook or other sites, contributor Texas Mac Man suggests the following solution which fools the site into thinking that you are running the latest version:)

Is a proxy server required to access the internet at your location? Many businesses require the use of a proxy server but if your at home you shouldn't need a proxy.
To disable the use of a proxy sever click on the Firefox Button (or tools menu) then click options. Click on the advanced tab --> Click on the Network tab --> Under Connection click Settings --> Then click on circular button next to use System Proxy Settings. Hit OK then OK again to exit the options dialog.

You can remove the passcode lock (Recovery Mode) but you will not be able to bypass the Activation Lock.
The previous owner's Apple ID and Password is needed to activate the iPad. -

Be grateful for your help with Photoshop Elements which I have been using for several years. Does Elements need to have access to ‘My Pictures’ on Windows as when I remove Photos from ‘My Pictures’, Elements later, when backing up, gives a message that it is unable to ‘reconnect’ to the same picture on elements. On other occasions when removing a photo from Elements catalogue I also get a similar message when backing up saying ‘unable to reconnect’. 1. Is there a relationship between Elements and My Pictures and is Elements dependant on the Windows ‘My Pictures’? 2. Why does some photos in Elements in some cases cause them to multiply e.g. double; triple; quadruple; and on occasions even more? Is there something I need to do to stop this or an easy way I can remove the multiples without spending hours doing it manually one by one? Am I doing something wrong? My O/S is Windows XP SP2 and windows Vista on my Laptop. I have been using Elements 5 and have just purchased Photoshop Elements 8.0. (Upgrade) and about to install it. Be grateful for any advice as I do enjoy using the program if only I can resolve this issue. I am not a PC wiz and mainly use Elements to catalogue photos from which I compile collections and from them slide shows with music. The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

I have been using Firefox for many years now and have been going to several sites on Firefox. Now, after an update around two days ago, I can't do anything with the sites. The cursor stays an arrow, and doesn't click anything. It's like a blank page with print on it.
I've tried almost everything, but to no avail. It's too much to copy and paste below.

I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting-extensions-themes Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide ] and the [[Troubleshooting plugins]] article as well.

Have been using an iPhone and sysncing with Outlook through iTunes for several years. Downloaded the recent update to iTunes and now sycing of contacts & calendars is not occuring. I did see that i had to recheck to sync contacts and calendars again and have done this, but still no syncing is occuring. Any suggestions?
