Apple TV is asking for a code and I don't know how to enter that into my phone when trying to stream video from Amazon Video
There was likely a passcode set for airplay, you can go into the settings to reset/disable
Amazon has chosen not to enable airplay at any rate

I am trying to download whatsapp on my iphone 4. It asks for my apple id and password and when I sign in , it gets me to a page that says redeem ...when I hit redeem it shows I have a $14 balance in my account and asks for a code - I tried entering the itunes card number...it says it has already been used. How do I tap into my account to pay for the app?

The 3 apps required updating but they have frozen. Did not realise this until Candy Crush froze. Went to reset and it asked for pass code. I entered standard code and it stated one failed attempt. I may be over 70 years of age but have not forgotten pass code!! I hope that the solution is simple!!
If your iPad was used by another person in the past, it may be asking for their passcode.
If your iPad has been synced with a computer before, restoring with your computer should fix it now.

I don't think you can, you could try to email apple about the problem or depending on what you mean by "info" if it is just apps you can re download them again once you restore it.

Refusal of a card is based on information provided matching what is on file from your credit card provider. If it is refused, it generally means something is not matching. That can inclue the name, the address or other information. It has to be exact to match. If you mean that you are creating a new iTunes account then the gift card field is optional, it doesn't have to be filled in, you can enter your credit card details instead as your payment method - and no, there isn't a 'promo code'.

I;ve done holding both buttons as you sugested, but there is no signal appearing.
I am in Uruguay, South America and the original company is Movistar ( Telefonica) and the new sim card is from ANTEL ( the officail and biggest company in my country).

My iMac is authorised to play iTunes content, but my Apple TV keeps asking for me to authorise and I am unable to view content from my iTunes Library. How can I convince my Apple TV that I am authorised?
I am not exactly sure what you mean by "authorised", but I am experiencing a similar problem...or the same, in that Apple TV keeps telling me to enable home sharing in my MacBook Pro. It does not seem to recognize that home sharing is already enabled on my Laptop.
Is home sharing and "authorised" one in the same? It used to work just fine before these recent Apple TV updates.

I'm trying to setup my new iphone and the Apple ID it asks for is my friends old Apple ID that she no longer has access to. How can I fix this so I can use my new phone? The first step asks for my iCloud info but then asks for my friends after I agree to the terms.
The iPhone is new, has never been used. When asked if I want to set it up as a new phone, restore from an iTunes backup, or my iCloud backup I selected iCloud. It then askes for me to sign in with my Apple ID, I then agree to the terms, then it asks for me to sign into my friends Apple ID. She and I have used each other's computers in the past so I assume this is where her information is coming from. The problem is she no longer had that email or Apple ID and has no way of gaining access to it and therefor I am unable to proceed.
I suppose my question is, how can I remove her information from mine so I can setup my new phone using iCloud. Also, I have already checked my Apple ID online and nowhere on my account is her information listed.
