I have an iPhone 5and am trying to get the mirroring function on AirPlay working on my tv.
Any thoughts please?

ensure both are connected to the same LAN
double click home and swipe to leftmosr screen
under Airplay turn it on and choose mirroring
if no mirroring option reboot the phone or router
also check airplay is not disabled in appletv settings

TC has no direct relevance to any of the iOS devices..
They backup to iTunes on the computer, which is then backed up by Time Machine to the Time Capsule.
You can access files if you load an app like file browser.. but TC is not a media server .. it is a dumb hard disk and other than saving files there is nothing useful to do with the TC.

I have a old iPod universal dock but am not clear if it work with the iPhone. The connector looks similar except that the ends are not quite flush. Will it work?

I've used the universal dock with my iPhone, but it isn't all that stable. You can also just connect the dock connector cable directly to the bottom of the phone; you don't have to use a dock.

grrr...i love apple products, but that the camera connection kit does not work with an iphone 4(s) make me angry about some apple philosophies. it is a good example of user restrictions from apple which make me feel like i am in a kindergarten.

hardware quite the same like ipad, nice screen with balanced colors (iphone looks good compared to my calibrated eizos) and screen size more than enough to do some basic edits.

Any device that can send an email should be able to print by way of ePrint. There are guidelines that have to be met, but in general this is true.
Email sent to the printer's email address should print. eprintcenter.com can be used to register the email address of the printer and also you can monitor the status of the print job from this website.

everyone allow read, write

Are you sure that is the correct link? There is no mention of volume conrol. They seem to be exacty the same as the ones that come with the 3G iPhone execpet there is no microphone or control button.
