  • Error loading video

    I'm not sure whats wrong but everytime I try to load this video I get a message that its being blocked. I've tried resetting Safari and moving around plugins, reinstalling Adobe flash.
    http://jtwvl.com/jenny/screnshot.jpg

    I have the same problem and remember that a long time ago I installed some kind of ad blocker, but I have been unable to find it. I've searched for "ad blocker" and browsed the Safari plug-ins with no success. How do I find whatever ad blocker is causing the problem?
    I did not have this problem on my Aluminum PowerBook the last time I tried but I don't know if I was running 10.5.11 or something earlier and it was probably Safari 3. I have not knowingly installed an ad blocker since then.

  • Error loading video embeds

    I have a blog page, I posted three embedded videos. #1 and 3 were youtube. #2 was vimeo. IE and GC browsers display them properly. But Firefox displays the #2 Vimeo where the # 1 youtube should be, and the# 3 youtube video twice, in both 2nd and 3rd positions.
    UPDATE below

    Problem seemed to have resolved itself. The problem occurred immediately I loaded a updated page with the topmost video (the #1 youtube video) in it. The #2 and 3 videos were there already from previous days. It resolved itself in less than 30 minutes. Still odd though.

  • Errors in loading video such as in Youtube and other sites that uses Adobe Flash Player, even I updated the program.

    error loading video or games

    You did not supply much information with your question:
    #In Add-ons > Plugins, do you see "Shockwave Flash ''(version)''"? If not, Flash is not installed for Firefox; see below
    #You can test Flash on this Adobe page: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
    There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash; an '''ActiveX version''' for IE only and a '''Plugin version''' for most other browsers including Firefox. On a Windows system, you should always update both individually.
    #'''Using Firefox''', go to the following direct download link and SAVE the download to your desktop so you can find it later: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
    #When the download is finished, close Firefox (File > Exit '''''OR''''' Firefox button > Exit)
    #Click or double-click on the file you just saved to your desktop
    #*In the installation window that appears, click the box to the left of "I have read and...." to place a check mark in the box
    #*The "Install" button in the lower right corner will now be highlighted, click it.
    #*The installation is quick.
    #Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
    #Direct link ActiveX version for IE '''''only''''': http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

    Hi Mylenium,
    upfront:
    I hope I won't be marked as spam now, since I am posting on a few relevant discussions now to this topic.
    However, I really would like to ask the people who have experienced this problem to see if they were able to solve it.
    Now the real deal:
    I posted a question in this discussionDynamicLink Media Server won't let me import video for video frames to layers anymore.
    The linked discussion is a lot younger, which is why I posted there first.

    I am experiencing this problem for a while now and hope you and jones1351may be able to help out.

  • In the iPhone Photos app, I get an error that states "Requested URL was not found on this server" when trying to watch a video I recorded

    For some reason, I cannot watch a video I recorded on my iPhone. I can see the first frame of it in the gallery, but when I click on it, I get the error that the requested URL could not be found on this server. Why would that display, if the file is on my iPhone? I'm not using iCloud to back up photos,, but I do have Photo Streaming enabled. Is there any way to get to this video? I don;t want to lose it, as it was a priceless moment.

    Ok, then as long as the videos reside on your PC, do the following:
    1) In iTunes on your PC, unsync the music videos (On the Music tab, uncheck "Include Music Videos, and then sync your iPad).
    2) Sync the music videos back to the iPad (check that same box again and sync once more).
    Does this fix it?

    Downloaded "Rush" yesterday on my iPad2 - sat down to watch it today. 1.23 seconds in, I get error message "cannot load video" Most annoying! Not happened before. Please ether fix or give me my money back asap

    We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
    What have you tried to fix it ? Have you tried closing the Videos app via the iPad's multitasking bar and seeing if it plays properly when you re-open then app ? Have you tried a soft-reset of your iPad ? If neither of those fix it then are you in a country where films can be redownloaded (assuming that it's not a rental) ? If you are then delete it from the Videos app and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.
    If you can't redownload it (e.g. if it's a rental) then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
    If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Cannot play JWPlayer mp4 videos - "error loading media, file could not be played" in MS Windows 7 Firefox. Works on Firefox for mac.

    We use mp4 / mv4 type videos. These videos are viewed through a JWPlayer playlist. They work fine using Firefox browser on a MAC, however on MS Windows 7, I get "Error loading media, file could not be played". They also work fine from MS Windows 7 using IE and CHROME browsers. Any idea what might be causing the problem when trying to play them from the Firefox browser on a Windows platform?
    I have already tried uninstalling Firefox, deleting my profile and re-installing the latest version.
    I logged a support problem with JWPlayer and they indicated that it ma be a browser specific related issue with html5?
    Thanks for you help!

    I would assume an issue with the HTML5 media player.
    If those aren't working on Windows then it is possible that the proper codecs aren't installed.
    You can try to disable the HTML5 media player and make Firefox use the Flash plugin.
    You can do this by setting these two prefs to false on the <b>about:config</b> page:
    *media.windows-media-foundation.enabled
    *media.directshow.enabled

  • Error could not load video.

    I Keep getting the message could not  load video.    When I try watching a show I downloaded from iTunes. Help!!!

    Hello tpellicer,
    Congratulations on your new iPad Air, and thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing.  It sounds like there is an issue with the movie Jobs when you rented it from iTunes.  I recommend following the steps in the following article to report this to the iTunes Store:
    To report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase, follow these steps:
    Find the email receipt for your purchase.
    Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
    When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
    Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
    From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
    Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
    Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.

  • Memory leak problems with loading videos over and over.

    I'm having memory leak problems with loading videos into a VideoPlayer aswell as FLVPlayback.
    What the flash should do:
    - Should be running for 7 days without having to restart the projector.
    - Interface that shows people around a 360 3D model with 5 different parts and at the stops it makes during the rotation you can click to zoom in on a location which plays a movie for that aswell.
    - Shows a video out of 5 parts for a 360 rotation in 3D in mp4 video (added each time and cleaned up, see code below).
    - Still images are used when the video clips are done playing (MovieClip in stage).
    - Should run automatically when there is no user interaction for X minutes.
    What the problem is:
    - The flash (as a exe and swf i guess) starts to consume memory over time (say 10 hours) until the projector crashes. This usually at around 1.75 GB of memory.
    I cannot see why the Flash cannot garbage collect this and free up the memory. Mabye there is something I don't understand about the garbage collection in flash?
    Here is some code from the video loading and playing:
    var fVideo:VideoPlayer;
    VideoCreate();
    function VideoReady(pEvent:VideoEvent):void
    trace("VideoReady()");
         // start playing video
    fVideo.play();
    function VideoLoad(pUrl:String):void
         trace("VideoLoad(" + pUrl +
         VideoCreate();
         if (pUrl != "")
              if (fVideoFolder + pUrl == fVideo.source)
                   fVideo.seek(0);
    VideoReady(null);
              } else {
    trace(fVideo.state);
                   if (fVideo.state !=
    VideoState.DISCONNECTED) fVideo.stop();
    fVideo.close();
    fVideo.load(fVideoFolder + pUrl);
         } else {
    // error no url
    function VideoCreate():void
         trace("VideoCreate()");
         // remove old one
         if (getChildAt(0) == fVideo)
              removeChildAt(0);
         fVideo = new
    VideoPlayer(1024, 768);
         addChildAt(fVideo, 0);
         fVideo.autoRewind = false;
    fVideo.addEventListener(VideoEvent.COMPLETE, VideoDonePlaying);
    fVideo.addEventListener(VideoEvent.READY, VideoReady);

    Hmm. It's in connection with Dropbox. Så apparantly you can only use one of the two at the same time if you want the programs integrated in Finder.

  • Load from file:// url

    Hi,
    I'm trying to get a very simple OSMF example loading from a file:// URL.
    When I load from an absolute http:// url the video is loaded and displayed.
    When I try to load from a relative URL or an absolute file:// URL the video is not loaded and displayed and no request is made to load the video.
    I don't think it is a security sandbox issue as I'm running in a trusted folder and would expect an exception for a security sandbox issue.
    Executing netLoader.canHandleResource() returns true for each URL.
    Surely I'm missing something obvious but I would expect this to work without any extra effort.
    Maybe this is a known issue of I need to do something else to load from file:// URLs.
    The code is so simple it's hardly worth posting:
    public function load( url:String ):void
         var resource:URLResource = new URLResource( url );
         _netLoader = new NetLoader();
         trace("VideoPlayer::load()", _netLoader.canHandleResource( resource ) );
         var media:VideoElement = new VideoElement( resource, _netLoader );
         //display has already been instantiated and added to the display list
         _display.addMediaElement( media );
         _player = new MediaPlayer();
         _player.media = media;
    Any help with this would be much appreciated.

    You can use the IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR listener and trace for debugging to see if your xml is being received.
    example...
    var pageData:XML;
    private function getInfo():void {
    var url:String = "urlTo.xml";
    var myXMLLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
    myXMLLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, onLoaded, false, 0, true);
    myXMLLoader.addEventListener(IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, errorXML, false, 0, true);
    myXMLLoader.load(new URLRequest(url));
    private function onLoaded(e:Event):void {
    pageData = new XML(e.target.data);
    pageData.ignoreWhitespace = true;
    //for testing in Flash
    trace("Data received: "+pageData);
    //for testing to device
    // example: textfieldOnStage.htmlText = pageData;
    //handle xml load error
    private function errorXML(e:Event):void {
    trace("XML Error:"+ e);
    // example: textfieldOnStage.htmlText = pageData;
