The following steps may resolve your issue:
Apple TV: Basic troubleshooting

If your TV screen appears fuzzy or black (you see no video)
Make sure the television you are using supports the Apple TV resolution requirements. Please see the Apple TV technical specifications.
When you connect power, check to make sure the LED turns on. If the LED is not on, then verify with a known good power outlet or connect something else to the outlet you're using for Apple TV and make sure it works (such as a lamp or clock).
Make sure you're using the correct video cables and that they are connected firmly to Apple TV and to your TV.
Connect the HDMI cable directly into the Apple TV and your television, remove any third party devices or adapters.
Make sure the input setting you've selected on your TV matches the input you have your video cables connected to. See the documentation that came with your TV for more information.
Change the Apple TV resolution by pressing and holding the Menu and Up button for six seconds. The Apple TV will automatically cycle to the next resolution at approximately 20 second intervals. Pressing the Selectbutton will immediately cycle to the next resolution.
If you are connected via HDMI, try unplugging and replugging your HDMI cable.
If HDMI isn't working on an Apple TV (1st generation), try component cables instead (and disconnect the HDMI cable temporarily). Read more about HDMI vs component video.

You don't swipe but actually press, hold and push up.

Does anyone else have this problem - I can't close iTunes!

Does any else get this really annoying problem? When I run iTunes, after a while the 'Accessing iTunes Store' display line at the top of the screen gets stuck (the stripey horizontal line just shows moving stripes forever). When this happens, I can no longer access the iTunes store AND I can't close the program! iTunes has not actually hung though, and I can still play music. The only way I can close iTunes is by killing it using Task Manager. If I click on the close icon, nothing happens.
I had this problem on version 7 and it's still there after upgrading to version 8. I might even have had it on earlier versions, I can't remember. Also, I had the same problem on another PC! When I transferred my library and account details to the new PC, the problem came with them.
I really like iTunes, but I'm totally fed up with this ridiculous problem which I've now had for a long time. I can still buy music as long as I do it before the problem hits. But it always happens eventually (after say 30 mins? Maybe less). iTunes diagnostics is no help. It always tells me that everything's working fine.
Any help, very much appreciated.

QUite a lot of freexing problems have been associated with Bonjour. This FAQ tells you what it does and how to temporarily disable it as a test.

If turning off bonjour solves your problem and you don't need what it does you can uninstall it and iTunes will still work.

While playing a game or on Facebook, sometimes the game or program just goes off. Then I have to start over. It seems to be doing it more often. Does anyone else have this problem and can you tell me how to fix it?

Stupid thing is my computer works fine only internet connected stuff causes TOTAL freezes: nothing works. <CTRL>+<ALT>+<DEL> doesnt react. <ESC> neighter. I can only get my computer to react by "killing" it completely with power shut off ("pull the plug") and starting up from scratch.
My partners computer is working fine. He also has updated to V10.0.2 And can play the game or do anything else. It happens on my laptop with Windows vista.
Now Im typing this on an other computer. So the computer details of this one are NOT RELEVANT. Please ignore.
Because of TOTAL freeze I get NO troubleshooting information.
The whole screen is a still. Sorry.
So, now Im pretty sure its FF V10.0.2 cause we've ruled out pretty much everything else and before I go through the whole installation process... This is my LAST hope.

Do not disturb does not block any incoming calls. Has anyone else had this problem how do you fix it

If you update to iOS 7.0, DND works both while your phone is locked, & when not locked. On iOS 6.0, only works when your phone is locked.
You have to go into settings and choose which you want. Always or only when locked. If you choose only when locked if you ar using your phone for anything, even it if is just sitting on a home page with the screen unlocked DND won't stop a call from coming through.

HT4718 I upgraded my OSX to Version 10.8.4 and all operations are running very slow, especially my online browsing. Anyone else have this problem, and can undo the update?

Start up in Safe Mode. Connect to your router with an ethernet cable, as your wifi may not work, and apply the 10.8.4 Combo update.

Staticky voice-over... anyone else have this problem?

I set my clock on my MBP to announce the hour at the top of every hour. My g4 Ti-book was also set up to do this, and it was a bit of a comfort during LATE NIGHT work sessions. I've set up the MBP to do this, but when it reads the hour it sounds very very bad. I can hear the voiceover voice start to talk, but then it cuts in and out rapidly (like static) and stops after less than a second. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there some odd setting (like the setting in the MIDI-utility that was causing web audio not to be heard) that might be affecting the voiceover utility? Oddly, when i have voiceover read other text, it sounds just fine. Its only the hourly time report thats messed up.

Lightroom 4, Windows 8, Dell Laptop Inspiron 17, Pentium Processor 1.8 Ghz It would do it occasionally on the old computer but on this computer it's several times a day. This is a brand new laptop and installed Lightroom from a disk, so no changes.

Uh, this is your first post, so you get some leeway...but, unless you provide enough info to help you troubleshoot, it's a guessing game and that isn't what the forums are all about... What LR version?What OS and version?What computer?What are the specs? Is this a new problem or have you had problems in the past?Any recent changes to your computer? Lot's of info you are not providing...

Mine wasnt working either but i saw in another thread that you should try Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. Ignore the warnings, all your settings have to be changed back but you dont lose any media or data, you just have to put your background back and location settings. It fixed Siri for me but dictation still doesnt work. Hopefully it works for you :-]

I have random songs that a have paid for but they just disappear, or cannot be downloaded and so on. Sometimes they are indexed wrongly, and can't be found because of that, no work around because also the search function of itunes has gotten totally unusable. It's a spring-loaded grounding contact between the top case/chassis and the bottom pan of the machine. When you press, it scratches against the inside of the bottom pan and makes the sound. It's completely harmless and doesn't indicate that anything is wrong, but it can be slightly annoying. A visit to a Genius Bar may result in quieting it partially or completely.

The camera takes a picture but the picture (video) doesnt appear in my Photos and therefore is not saved!
