    Hi Yangamuni,
    Are there any progress?
Please have a look on the below threads with the similar issues as yours:
    http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic652579-146-1.aspx
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/sqldatabaseengine/thread/ae4db890-c15e-44de-a2af-e85c04260331
The solution is change the recovery mode to SIMPLE, shrink log files and then change to the FULL recovery mode.
    Thanks,

  • Open file located in the HTMLResources with adobeDPS.dialogService.open()

Is it possible to open file located in the HTMLResources with adobeDPS.dialogService.open()?
Method adobeDPS.dialogService.open('http://www.google.com/') - works well, but it not support relative URLs
I can make button in InDesign layout with url "HTMLResources/faq.html",
but how to make HTML-button in web-overlay that opens file from HTMLResources in slideup webview?
    Thanks

Hi, Why do you need to use HTMLResources?
You can try use all HTML files (faq.html too) in web content.
Do you want a lightbox effect, than your webcontent frame need to be the same size of page
I believe that the results is quite similar.

  • I have a macbook pro 10.6.8. My question is, is there a way to bypass the startup items (programs) when booting the computer?

I perform music with my Macbook pro.  so I have several music applications that startup automatically when the computer boots. they look for the audio interface that they are supposed to talk to and then everything is good.  but sometimes I boot my computer when it is not connected to the audio interface and this breaks the conncetion link between the music applications and the audio interface.  If the is a way to bypass (turn off) the startup items as I boot the computer when it is not connected to the audio interface, then I'd no longer have this problem.  is there a way to do so?

This is a third party software problem you need to contact the developer to fix, perhaps they already have a update and you need to apply it.
Nothing should "break" if it's not connected to hardware as with portables people are always connecting and disconnecting.
If it's breaking the connection between two other pieces of software then it's poorly designed.
Some hardware + software combinations are meant for pernament desktop installations as a integrated system, not for portables.
The only case I can think of that software won't work without the hardware attached if the hardware is a form of content protection, that it won't run without the dongle etc., attached.

  • Sql server service crashes a few times yesterday, however, there is no .MDMP file generated in the log folder

    hi there:
I've experienced several sql server service crashes yesterday, service was brought up after a few secs as we have an autostart feature.
Today, I'd like to dig more into the errors and on the event viewer -> Application, I saw errors below
"Faulting application sqlservr.exe, version 2009.100.4302.0, time stamp 0x52f5d194, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6001.18538, time stamp 0x4cb73957, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x00000000000a7857, process id 0x15ec, application
    start time 0x01cfd7e72b2997d3.
People suggested to check dump file inside C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.SQL2008R2\MSSQL\Log
However, the lastest .mdmp file was  on April 11, 2014. Do I need to turn on some settings on sql server in order to have this dump file?
    Thanks
    Hui

What do I do if there is no software update option in the settings of my iphone 3GS?

In order to update over the air you will need to be on IOS 5.0 or higher.
For you to update your 3GS you will need to plug it to your computer and open itunes.  itunes should detect that your phone needs an upgrade, suggest doing a backup before updating.
NOte if you hava an iphone 3G the highest IOS is 4.2.1

  • SWF to play mp3 files located on the server

    Hello,
Does anyone know if it is possible to create an SWF file that can play mp3 files directly from the server, without the need for a streaming media server or external JS.
And also for the application to read the current directory its located in and build a playlist based on the files inside.
any information of examples would be greatly appreciated.
    Peter.

As for loading and playing the files there is no issue.  Simply load them as you would load any file.  You can even use a relative path if they are in the same folder as the SWF, or a sub-folder that is in the folder with the SWF.
As for looking at the server directory for what files are there, and using them - I know of no way to do this.  That doesn't mean it is impossible, just that I haven't come across a method in my experience.
What I typically do is to archive the list of files in an XML file, and load the XML.  I know, that adds an extra step, and an extra file, but it is the easiest method for approximating what you want to do.
    Let me edit this response.
You could use javascript, or a server language to grab the list of files in the directory and pass it into Flash via the ExternalInterface classes.

  • How to set up iTunes with an external hard drive so that there is not a double location for the iTunes Media folder

    Hi,
A very helpful postee got to the end of his knowledge level, so I am posting this for you tech guys to sort out. Bit long because I've tried to set it out step by step. Briefly I'm new to iTunes and my laptop has a very small hard drive and is virtually full and due to be replaced. So I want to use an external hard drive.
Now I know that iTunes installs itself to two locations: 1. Programs Files 2. Music. And its the Music location that bothers me.
I asked about using an external hard disk to store the actual AAC files. I was advised that in order to change the loaction of the iTunes media folder I was should employ preferences/advanced/ and this is what i saw (as you would expect):
Then I hooked up my hard drive, hit 'change', and this is what I saw:
I was a bit worried by the lack of pathway details, but assumed it must have done something on the external drive, so I looked on  it and this is what i saw (highlighted):
But compare this with what was in the directory I attempted to reproduce, viz in the iTunes folder in /laptop/Music/iTunes:
A ton of stuff. The only stuff that corresponded with what iTunes had created on my external hard drive was in Music/iTunes/iTunes Media folder:
Now this suggests that there are TWO locations for my preferences. The advanced tab only allowed me to ADD an extra location, not REPLACE the original.
    So:
    1. Which of the two locations will iTunes choose when I add music? Surely it will go with the original pathway laid down in the directory when iTunes was installed, and ignore my external Hard Drive? I mean, how can there be two automatic locations?!!!
2.. I don't mind itunes library being on my laptop as this is just a list, but it obvoiusly has to have a pathway to the site where the actual AAC files are stored.
so surely it won't work unless the whole lot is on the external hard drive: library, extras, genius, the lot?
    4. How then do I get it all on the external since merely changing "preferences" doesn't do the job?
    5. Is this perhaps the reason why so many people report that iTunes does not recognize their external hard disk:
    http://www.ehow.com/info_12199596_external-hard-drive-not-recognized-itun es.html
I just don't want this to happen to me. Any answers?
    Philip Joy
    UNITED KINGDOM

As I've replied to your other threads...
    Easy method 1:
Move or Copy entire working library from current location to the root of your external drive. Press & hold down shift (option on a Mac) as you click the icon to start iTunes. Click Choose when prompted, then browse to ..\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl on the external. If you copied the library across then test your new library works properly after renaming the original folder, before deleting the original folder to recover space.
    Easy method 2:
If you haven't really started to build your library. Press & hold down shift as you click the icon to start iTunes. Click Create. Browse to the root of the external drive. Create the library as ITunes. Drag your media into ..\iTunes\iTunes Media\Automatically Add to iTunes.
    Complex method:
Required if you've already tried other things and now have media & library scattered around. See the post make a split library portable.
    in addition...
In all cases the idea is to get a library folder called iTunes containing a media folder called iTunes Media with all media inside this media folder. Once you have the library in this shape it is easy to reconnect to the library with the shift-start-iTunes method if the drive letter changes, move the library to another computer, and backup the library by cloning the folder to another drive.

  • The 2 year old fix for changing temp files is no longer valid, I need to change the temp file location in the latest firefox.

In 3.6.3 I'm unable to find the parent cache to change where the temp files are located. I have an SSD drive, and I need to get the temp file off, and onto my platter drive. I have read the previous fix of about:config and changing the parent cache location, but it no longer seems to be there. I'm unable to locate anything relating to my SSD drive location in about:config.
    == User Agent ==
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.375.70 Safari/533.4

Unfortunately, it appears that what I wrote about not being able to find the location IN about:config of the cache to change it from my C: drive to a different location, was mildly misunderstood that I didn't know how to get into about:config.
The location of browser.cache.disk.parent_directory does not currently exist in 3.6.3. I'm assuming it's under a different location. Also using the simple string of "cache" lists several options, but none of them appear to be where firefox is currently dumping the temp files onto my C:
I merely need to know how to switch the temp file location from 1 drive, to another. Not downloads, the temp file.

  • File location of Spotlight found items

    Hi,
in prior versions of OS X, Spotlight had a feature in which if I positioned the mouse pointer one of the items in the list of found items, a "tool tip" would appear, showing the full file path.  This was useful if I was cleaning out my system and deleting files, or for locating a file that I wanted to open from a particular app.  In Lion, this feature seems to have disappeared.  Now, if I hover the mouse pointer over one of Spotlight's list items, a larger window opend to the side of the Spotlight list, showing the selected item's filename (but not its path), what app opens the file by default, the file's size, and its "last modified" date, but I have no way of knowing where the file actually is located.  Is there a way that I can determine a file's location directly from Spotlight like I could in earlier versions of OS X?
    Thanks,
    Ken

    CT,
    Thanks for the information.
Just to confirm, for anyone else who may have the same question in the future, when an item is selected in Spotlight's list of items that match the search criteria, it appears that in every case except for apps, a window will open to the the side of Spotlight's list, displaying information about that item.  This window sometimes shows a preview of the file (for documents and images), and just info, if it's a folder.  This window does not appear if an app is selected in Spotlight's list.  When a Spotlight item is selected and Option-Command are both held down, the filepath (but not the name)of the item will be displayed at the bottom of the item's description window, and if the selected item is an app, then Option-Command will cause a window to open, showing info about the app as well as showing its filepath at the bottom of the window.  Holding down only the Command key will result in the item's name appearing at the bottom of the window for all objects except for webpages, where it appears that both Option-Command and Command only result in a display at the bottom of the item's window that alternates between the webpage's title and its URL.  Please note that I didn't do an exhaustive test of this, but I hope that this will be somewhat helpful to others.
    Thanks,
    Ken

If file > print is done in higher IE version, it can be printed out nicely.
Is there a way to fix this issue as customer side may not able to upgrade to the higher IE version? e.g. CSS
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that the print function of IE8 doesnot print the whole content of SharePoint list item.
For troubleshooting your issue, please turn off Protection Mode for the IE8.
You can refer to the thread:

  • Elements 8 when in file location view the thumbnail is not the right photo

When I click on a file folder location the thumbnail that opens in not the right photos for that file folder.  I have run catalog repair and optomized the catalog.  I don't know much about the database but think it must be messedup.  I need to move my photo's to a external hard drive as my laptop hard drive is full.  This is when I first saw this problem. I have moved only 8 photos.  I have a about 4500 photos and did not want to have to move them one at a time.  Also I store everything by date.  I have elements 8 and primiere 8 with windows 7

I am not sure how to do this but I do have more than one EHD that I could use.  I can backup to one hard drive and restore to another.  Will this move the catalog file from my internal hard drive to the EHD? If so what does that do to my internal hard drive that has the program files orginal installed on them.  Guess what I need is a step by step instructions as I have not done this before and don't want to loss everything but could reinsall if I have to.  If it come to that would like to have my photos on the EHD and upgrade my program to PSE 10. or maybe move to lightroom if that is a better program.  I am at a stand still as my internal hard drive can't hold any more.
First step is to create a backup on one of your external hard disks. This will be useful anyway, should you upgrade computer or PSE version later.
    - create a new folder in the external disk.
    - start the backup from the organizer file menu, choose a backup name and select the destination drive and the folder you created. Note the size of the backup to be sure you have enough space on the external disk. It's good to have twice the necessary space.
Wait for the message telling the backup is finished ; don't close the organizer too soon, this message does not appear immediately.
You can check if the backup is complete by looking into the destination folder. It should contain a backup.tly file.
This backup can be used to restore your catalog and image files either to the original location or any location on any disk.
Now, you are ready to restore your backup to another external drive.
Same as before, create a new folder with the name you want to give to the new catalog.
Run the menu restore and choose 'custom location'
The restore will create a new catalog of the name of the folder, and put both the files constituting the catalog and the folder structure of your image files in the folder you created.
As a result, you'll have a new catalog to be found in the catalog manager under 'custom location', which means it is situated on your second external hard drive.
If you want to move the catalog to the default location on your old drive, that's possible from the file menu of the organizer. This will move your catalog, not your image files. It's not necessary, but you can do it.
Nothing will be changed to your old computer, so you'll be able to compare the old and new catalogs and the original and the copies of your images.
