How do I force my PDF downloads on my device to sync to my MacBook? I can see them in the list of books on my device, and I have syncing on, but they won't sync. Only books I've bought are syncing.

My application, Frog toss, for my I touch, is corrupt. It will not load. SO I unchecked the sync box and it removed it from my I touch.
Then when I restarted everything (I touch and computer) I re-checked the box.. Now it says the application file is not there.
And when I went to the I tunes store, it said I downloaded it, but it will not allow me to re-download it.
How can I force (make) it re-download it?
I tried a global search on my HD for the file and it got erased somehow..

I'm using (Snow Leopard) Mail to connect to gmail via IMAP.
I'm running out of space and want to archive my gmail messages locally using Mail.
The old gmail messages download and archive nicely, but Mail's leaving the attachments on the server. Is there some way I can force Mail to download all those attachments? There are too many to do it manually.

I don't see an "advanced" tab in preferences. The is one under the "accounts" tab, but it doesn't offer a "Keep(ing) copies of message for offline viewing" option.
Is this a difference between 10.5 and 10.6?

Type "apple mobile device service" into the search bar at the top of this page by "Support" and read the resulting articles.

First turn off automatic downloads on the devices. This is at Settings>Store> there will be on/off switches by apps, books, and music. These switches take new purchases and download them to all devices that this is turned on. Most people have an issue when connecting to the same computer with same user account. Regardless of Appleid used on device, it will store all apps and content together on the computer in itunes. Using separate user accounts on the computer will truly keep things separated. Remember to sync with correct user account or you may merge things together again.

It should transfer them all, I don't have as many as that on my devices but it's always copied them all.
Where are you seeing the 103 e.g. if the iBooks app on Mavericks then are you looking at the List or All Books view or view Collections ?
You could try disconnecting it and rebooting both your Mac and iPad and then retry it and see if they all then copy over.

I am new to ColdFusion and need some help. I set up a virtual folder on my website and then mapped in the CF9 admin panel to a "Docs" folder above my root, where I would like to store sensitive documents. CF tags are enabled.
I know that my mapping is set up correctly, because when I set up a cfm page with the following code, I can successfully download the file:

But what I need is to create one cfm age that will be able to handle downloads of multiple files types and names from the folder above my root.
I then found Duke Snyder's solution on an older forum for the "click link and download file" question where he suggests making a "download.cfm" page with the following code: I did this, and named the file "download.cfm"

With the name listed as: "download.cfm?Filename=Calendar_pdf"
When I click "Save", I get the message: "Internet Explorer cannot download download.cfm from www.... Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

I have several PDF files in iBooks.
I also use Notes Plus, which reads pdf files.
In any application (other than iBooks) that reads pdf files, the curved arrow asks me if I want to open the pdf in another program - e.g. Notes Plus
But iBooks' curved arrow only offers to email or print.
I believe Apple should update iBooks to allow pdf files to open in other applications.
Do you agree? Or is there some way - without emailing or internet connection, without computer syncing - only using the iPad alone - that I can transfer pdf files from iBooks to Notes Plus and other apps?

Short of emailing it to yourself for which you do need an Internet connection, there is no way to open that PDF in another app. iBooks just does not allow for it.
If you want to see Apple add the capability to iBooks, let them know about it.
