HT204370 I purchased a movie and downloaded to my previous (PC) computer, but now iTunes has no record of it in my purchase history to dowload to my new Mac(which is under same iTunes ID). Do I have to "re-purchase" the movie to download onto my new Mac?
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, as I will NOT pay for the movie again as it was already purchased.
Did you not copy it from your old computer to your new one?
Have you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer?

I purchased Horse 360 app, downloaded it to my computer, a PC. The app shows in the iTunes folder, but I can't start the program.
iOS apps only run on iOS devices, i.e. iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. There are system requirements listed on the page you purchased the app from.

It is a Touch 4th generation. My research on this site makes me fear the device somehow cleared its memory of all my stuff. When connected to the computer and in iTunes, it isn't recognized.
Problems: photos aren't downloaded onto the computer and most recent movie purchase on the device was done since last sync and isn't showing in my itunes account.
Did I loose my photos, videos (I took), and movie purchase lost? Is there a way to get the iPod to work again and not loose the documents I have on it or are they really gone?
It was working just fine and then froze. In the past, I did the reboot and it worked just fine.
Any suggestions?Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If you want to use automatic syncing (not the manual method), you need to set up syncing for audiobooks.
Select the iPod in iTunes (click the "device button" on the horizontal bar in iTunes 12). On the iPod's Summary settings screen, in the sidebar, under Settings, click Audiobook. To the right, check the box for Sync Audiobooks, and set up the iPod's Audiobooks settings screen to tell iTunes how to sync audiobooks to the iPod. Then click Apply.
NOTE: If you use the manual method to load songs on the iPod, you do not want to set up automatic syncing. You probably want to also load audiobooks manually. Please reply back if this is your situation. -

Purchasing a new song or album will not affect any other song or album in your library.
In the case of the two albums you mention, if you purchase them both, you will have the same song (different copies) in both albums. -
I have the iphone 4 and PC with Windows Vista Basic. When I bought my iPhone syncs with iTunes on my computer, but now when I try to sync it tells me that Mobile Device Service was closed and I can not synchronize the phone. Try restarting Mobile Device Service and uninstall and reinstall Itunes but still giving me the same error.

I have to move desks and computers a lot at work. Today I bought $30 worth of music on one computer - but now I am sitting at a new desk and computer and can't find my music. Don't tell me to make sure I log on and off....i do! So where is my music?
The music you purchased is probably in our profile directory on the computer where you purchased it. Unless your IT department has the computers setup to use "roaming profiles" your "My Music" folder will be stored locally on each computer. I don't know of too many companies that use "roaming profiles" as they tend to cause about as many problems as they were designed to "fix". If you are going to be moving to many different computers, I suggest that you consider moving your iTunes Library to an external drive that you move with you. This way your purchased content is stored on your external drive and not on the local drive of the PC you are using at the time of the purchase.
