I find it so frustrating that first I had to purchase iWorks for my Mac, then I had to purchase it all over again for my IOS device so I could use iCloud, then I purchase thousands of dollars of movies and am not able to store them in the cloud, yet we have only purchased the rights to the songs no differently than we have the movies. Why would they exclude movies from icloud?

They are not part of icloud in all countries, becuase the movie industry in those copuntries does not allow Apple to offer this.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

Yesterday I downloaded the most recent version of itunes and created a playlist....i was unable to burn it to a CD. Why are songs that I purchased through itunes not able to be loaded to icloud?

I am having a ton of issues getting my library on both my home comuter and my laptop. I deleted my Icloud and then reloaded it with all the music from my home computer. My plan is to turn on Itunes match on my laptop and download all my songs. The problem I am having is that some of my songs are not eligable to upload to icloud??? I am not sure what that even means. Some of these song are some that i have purchased in just the last few months from itunes and now they are not eligable to upload to icloud. What am I supposed to do to get my music on both computers???

I do not undestand what you mean. iCloud is not the same as iTunes Match. The two services are separate and distinct and one does not require the other.
If you are trying to copy music files from one computer to another using iTunes Match is not the most effective way to do that. See this Apple KB article for more information: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527.
Once you get the music copied over you can enable iTunes Match. It will scan the library and mirror it with what is in the cloud. As to the songs that are "ineligable" tell us what the exact status is for the tracks. Switch to Song view and pull down View > View Options and select iCloud Status, then close the small window. Post the status for the songs back here.

Why are the most popular online games still written in Flash?

Hi all,
I am not a Java expert, but I notice that at http://www.miniclip.com and similar sites, most of the popular games are written in Flash. Why is this? Is it because of Flash's IDE? Or is there some other reason?
If it is an IDE issue: Is there any Java IDE that makes basic Java game development as easy as basic Flash game development (drag-and-drop simple)?

popular doesnt mean quality. flash games generally suck IMO
not to mention flash is easy as hell. any 14 year old with Limewire can manage to make half-decent flash movies with very basic ActionScript.
even a few pro-made Flash games suck.. you can only do so much with vector-based graphics >_> (and let's not forget how SLOOOW the Flash interpreter is..)
java requires actual programming knowledge - far beyond ActionScript's syntax. thus there are less people willing to put forth the effort really.

Why are the themes in Keynote for Mac and iOS still so different?

I love Keynote for Mac and I would love to love Keynote for iPad, but as you all know there are many shortcomings. One thing I just can't grasp why Apple still makes the basic themes so different between the two platforms. For the last years I always used Gradient theme on the Mac for my presentations. Whenever I want to play a presentation on the iPad I get the usual warnings (although I basically never use anything fancy in my presentations). Obviosly this is annoying, but what I don't get at all:
1. Why do they use as a standard for the same theme different fonts and font sizes (Gill Sans 42pt on Mac vs. Helvetica 38 pt on iPad)
2. Why does Keynote has a inconsistent behaviour between Mac and iPad in the most simple functions??
- When I add a few bullet points on the Mac the font size is not changed but you get an indicator (plus sign) at the bottom of your text box to tell you that you ran out of space
- When I do the same on the iPad the font size gets adjusted automatically to fit in the text box.
I am not expecting that every little fancy things translates perfectly between Mac and iPad but that those most simple things are inconsistent is very irritating.
Well, that actually feels better now that is off my chest
What do you guys think about that??

I recently purchased an in-app purchase, and it didnt appear in the application. The application is Soccer Superstars 2012. When i tried purchasing it again, it says "You have bought this purchase but it has not been downloaded yet. Press Ok to download it" So i pressed Ok and yet it still doesnt appear in the application. Please help me. It is still billed to me but doesnt appear in the application. There are 2 purchases that were billed but did not appear in the application. I'm being billed when i did not even get the purchase in the application.

Also, I have purchased other apps and music on iTunes since the problem started.

When I went to play the songs it gets 40-50 seconds into it the abrubtly stops and switches to the next song. If its any help it was the "Get scraped" album by deadmau5

try going into your purchased file on the left side of iTunes, and play it from there. you can delete the purchased song if it doesn't play, and re-download it as well. just be sure to toss it, and library files into trash, then re-download from your purchased file.

The best way is to copy the iTunes library from your Mac to the PC, so you will move everything, not only your songs. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1751 (You have to do the "Restoring your iTunes Library backup" step on the PC)

Why are the nr of records in RSDDSTATBIAUSE and RSDDSTAT_DM are different?

For a given period I am trying to find out how many times BIA was used.
First I went to RSDDSTATBIAUSE table for the Cube ZCUBE123 and check the number in the field BIA_USED.
For the same period I went to RSDDSTAT_DM view, and checked the number of entries for the same period under the AGGREGATE=ZCUBE123$X. The numbers are not matching. Why?
And what's the right way to get this achive what I am trying to do?

Well, that's the question we had the other time as well why you cannot match numbers between RSDDSTAT* tables, Tech.Content InfoCubes and ST03N
I believe it is a question to SAP Developers on what's the logic (filters? classifications?) when writing to thiese tables.

Why are the offerings in Newsstand so few and meager?

I use zinio for magazine subscriptions on my iPad. But I could be convinced to migrate my subs to Newsstand. But the offerings are meager and uninteresting, except for the NewYorker.

Many of us haven't found much of any advantage to Newstand. Like yourself, I use Zinio. Unless things change, I'll stick with Zinio.

Why are the keyboard shortcuts for new window and new tab (N) and (W) instead of (W) and (T) when I right-click on bookmarks in my toolbar?

If I right click on a link in a page, the context menu allows me to open a new tab if I hit t on my keyboard and a new window if I hit w. In the bookmarks menu, these shortcuts change to w and n respectively. Hitting t results in deletion of the bookmark. Can this be changed so it is consistent with the in-page context menu?

You can middle-click a link to open the link in a new tab.
