Was trying to buy a movie on imac but the buy button was not highlighted. Why is this so? When I accessed my itunes account via my other computer - macbook, it was highlighted. But just want to purchase all my movies through the imac as it is faster. Anyone can advise?

If they are not in your country's iTunes store then it's probably because the film distributors haven't made them available to Apple to sell there - Apple can sell content where they are granted licenses to do so.

In case you haven't figured it out from everyone else's posts, you don't need to spend $30 per month for the 3G. If you don't need it most of the time, and only really want to use it for trips, then you just sign up for the service for when the trip starts, pay for a single month ($15 or $30 depending on how much you plan on using the 3G service). I don't think you even need to remember to cancel the plan after the road trip ... I think you can have it automatically terminate if that is what you want.
I'm buying a 3G version, and I will either not sign up for any plan, or sign up for the $15 per month plan for most of the time. Before a trip when I think I will be using the 3G service more often, I will probably sign up for unlimited for that month only.
If you are on the fence, it is probably worth the $130.

p.s. One more benefit that is a big deal for me that a lot people aren't talking about is the GPS. I think the iPad will be a great portable GPS unit, and the WiFi only versions do not have GPS capabilities. With multi-tasking, I think that more interesting GPS like apps will be available this fall as well. I think it would be great to have the iPad log GPS locations, and then when you transfer photos to your iPad, it could automatically encode them with the GPS locations.

It is up to the licenseholder/distributor to make their content available to Apple to sell in a particular country - until they do so, Apple can't sell it there. You can try requesting it (http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html), but ultimately it's down to the distributor.

Yeah, mp4 in HTML5 browsers is h.264 encoded - h.264 is a subset of MPEG-4 standard. More info here:

For ease of use in AME, if you look at the right side of the UI in the presets, the Web Video > YouTube presets are the ones that will encode to h.264 with the mp4 extension.

Apple did approve our in-app purchase without publishing the folio ahead of time.
I have a new question: Can I change the "Cleared for sale" attribute in the iTunes Connect interface from no to yes before a folio's scheduled publication date? Or should I wait until after the folio has been published?
I would think you could set the "Cleared for sale" attribute to yes before the publication date and it would not cause any problems since the folio is not available to purchase until it's published.

You can only buy content from your own country's store - if the music that you want isn't in your country's store then it's because the record company haven't granted Apple a license to sell it there. Is it available on other music purchase download sites that you have access to ?

Why cant I download anything from the app store after updating to the ios7.02 system?

Do you have a song or podcast in iTunes that did not finish downloading? If you do - finish that one first. The apps will not update until that download is complete.
If that doesn't do it - sign out of your account - Settings>Store>Apple ID - sign out. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if you can tap on one app and start the download.

Why cant Iceland buy Lightroom 2

I am a user of Lightroom since beginning and I would like to keep on being one.
This is made impossible by Adobe due to some programing gliches so that Icelanders can not buy the program on line. Retailers have offered it for $800 !!!!!!!!
I herby call out to the society to oppose to this hand help fellow photographers in Iceland to stay up to date with the lates softwares with out having to get them illigaly.
pleace contact me if you have a email address or a phonenumber from someone in charge of this at adobe.
How am I to teach other photographers to use this software if I cant buy it??

Adobe used Iceland in the marketing of the product in the beginning but there have been all sorts of problems for Icelanders in using this software, let alone buy it. I had to go to all sorts of lenghts to buy version 1.

In this case you are wrong.
We can not buy it from any where on line. Just go to the nearest online adobe store and try to find Iceland. This is a problem on behalf of ADOBE. Sadly so. I have tried to post my problem to the Lightroom staff but have had no reply.
I am registered user of Photoshop and Lightroom and that was no problem. I have been using adobe products since the beginning of Photoshop. I am even a registered reseller of Adobe products (through affiliate programs) but I my self can not buy it nor those that I want to sell to and teach the use of this otherwise fine program.
Even though Adobe is a large company selling couple of hundreds of programs to Iceland must matter.
On their way to Iceland are big names in photography (that Adobe supports) that among other things are going to show the use of Lightroom in their workflow. How are they going to succeed if no one over here can buy the software?
I am amazed at this glitch.

Since you clips were imported to iPhoto, I assume they were recorded on a digital camera which may use and number of audio and video compression formats. Since a file must contain "edit" compatible formats to be imported by iMovie '08, if the audio and/or video is incompatible, the file will not import. So, the first step is to open your clip in the QT Player and check the "Inspector" window to see what compression formats they contain. Once you know that, you can determine how best to convert the incompatible format(s) to compatible ones.

We are all users here just like you and none of us will be able to tell you why your carrier is charging that price for the iPhone. The prices you see on Apple.com (US store) are for US iPhone's on either AT&T or Verizon. Those prices are only applicable in the US on those 2 carriers.
It may be due to exchange rates and carrier policies in your country that results in the high price. We do not know, no one here works for Apple. That is the price your carrier is charging and there is nothing that be done. You could check if another carrier is selling it for less but that is the only option you have.
