HT204380 Can't log in with my Apple ID in FaceTime on my iPhone.
Hello everyone,
so I have this issue. When I'm trying to log in with my Apple ID in Face Time there appears " The user name or password for "[email protected]" was incorrect. Try again" And I'm 100% sure that everything is correct, I've tried to log in to App Store and iCloud and it's works. I got iPhone 4S with iOS 6.0.1
So please, if you know how to help me, do it!

Hi, first time on my iPad since new wifi set up, and I now can not get into my iPad to set up the New WiFi keycode, I keep constantly getting the "sign into icloud, enter Apple id password", and I can't get to any settings annoyingly.
Now I had not changed my Id password prior to this problem, yet I have since changed it through another device, yet without WiFi on my iPad this will not update.

Bug in iMessage Can't Log in with different Apple ID
My husband, four boys and I share my iTunes Apple ID to back up data to the iCloud and share music, as I pay for a large amount of storage for all of us. I set up a different Apple ID for my messages, as the boys keep turning on iMessage with MY phone number on the iPad, iPod and their iPhones (sometimes on purpose i think!).
Since i upgraded to the iPhone 6, I can't get it to take my different iMessage login! It took it with no problem for FaceTime, but won't log me in for iMessage and tries to revert back tot he main Apple ID. It is hard to even get it to open the space to put a different Apple ID in - it keeps loading it automatically without giving the option to change it. I have to keep turning it off and trying again in Settings. Finally there and it tells me "Could not log in. Check your network connection and try again." Um - what? It works everywhere else without an issue! I just tested it on the mac. No network errors, password works just fine.

Up to Mavericks in combination with earlier iOS versions it seems that you could use different IDs in different apps.
That is to say the iCloud ID in System Preferences > iCloud could be the same on an iPhone to sync the contacts and other function but a different ID could be used in Messages for iMessages and FaceTime (I would keep theses the same as your Invoke FaceTime for Video chats)
However it does seem that Yosemite and iOS 8.x.x when you want to do Text Forwarding on the iPhone to be able to SMS on the Mac wants or needs to use the same ID all the way round.
Having said that I once used two separate ID on two separate iPhones and this got very complicated on my Mac.
I decided to delete one of the iPhones which I have managed (it never shows up). However the Apple ID keep popping up on various devices when I open them.
Despite me saying "no" when it asks me it does seem to get put through on the Mac.
I can delete the .plist that stores the info but is still gets to show as an unticked option in the Received At list.
(I can see it re-appearing on your children's devices without too much issue).

Like you I do use different ID in different places for various reasons although any form of sharing is not the reason for me. (I just don't want to lose all functions if one ID gets compromised)
It does seem this is becoming more difficult.

Try this... I had the same problem and this worked for me.
Go to your system preferences → network → make sure WI-FI selected → advanced → DNS tab. Add 8.8.8.8 to the DNS servers. Go back to FaceTime and try to verify your account again.

I create an apple id then i want to verify it, i verify it once then when i log in with my apple id it asked mi again to verify it.everytime i log in it asked me to resend verication and after i resend it i press done. Please can anyone help me ?
How are you verifying it? Are you responding to the email that is sent? If not, do so.
If so, then try changing your password. -
I am unable to update my apps... in my purchases page it appears as "update", then a message tells me to log on with the Apple ID I purchased the app with... Well I have tried my two different accounts and neither one will work, can someone help ??
And is there any way to sync all my purchases and accounts to just have one... It is a bit stupid that you dont even get a list of something of what account you may of used, or some kind of hint, so you could log on to the right account. I am really stuck ...

Have you tried your spam folder? it could have gone there by default. also, are you sure you put the correct email in for iCloud?

I have upgraded to itunes 11.3.8. My library is showing, however I can't log onto itunes. I have logged in with my apple id, but it doesn't come up. Help?
When I click on itunes store within itunes, the screen comes up blank. I'm using a macbook pro.I have the same problem. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting link you added has the first step listed as "Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences" which we (the original poster and I) can't do as our Preferences are greyed out. We can't click on them to verify anything.
In FaceTime itself it's verified my apple id (also double checked via the site) and then it says the email is "verified" but then it freezes and after a minute or so it says "Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again."
After checking the network connection, it still doesn't work. It's rather frustrating as it all worked fine until about a week or two ago.
Any help would be appreciated.
