  • Can you get wireless hard drives for the new ipad as apple again havent increased the size

someone has mentioned that you can get wireless hard dives for the ipad.....this would be beneficial as yet again apple have not increased the size of the maximum hard drive of their new "soon to be released" ipad.....thanks Lee

The wireless "drives", which are more truly media streamers rather than true file storage, continue to be an optiono for the new iPad just as it was for the previous versions. Confirm compatibility with iOS 5.1 before purchasing, just in case the product might need an update for the new version of iOS.

  • Can you get a solar charger for the ipad 2?

Does anyone know if you can get a solar charger for an ipad 2?

There a few technical considerations to enable Ipad charging from PV's (solar cells)
    1. The output voltage must be no greater than 5.1vdc (max)
    2. The correct sensing resistors must be on the USB interface to turn on the charging circuitry just as in the iphone and Ipod.
    3. The output current must be high enough to actually charge the Ipad usually something greater than 800ma at
5.1vdc. Usually the greater the better, The Apple supplied chargers are 2 amps. The output is stated in direct sunlight so again the greater the better.
    4. The weight, physical and type PV must meet the needs of the user.

  • Can you buy mobile wifi unit for the iPad 2 if if was not purchased with 3G

I was given an ipad2 for my birthday but it does not have 3G, is it possible to buy a mobile wifi unit from AT&T so that I can use my iPad when there isn't public wifi?

I presume you are asking about "MiFi", which are units that allow a WiFi-equpped device to connect to a cell carrier's data network. AT&T does have such a device:
    http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/devices/att-mobile-hotspot-mifi-2372. jsp
Verizon offers a similar device, as may other cell carriers.
Alternatively, if the iPad was just purchased in the last 14 days (assuming the Apple Store; dealers may have different policies) and you can get the receipt, you could perhaps return the unit for credit against a 3G iPad.

  • Can you get a bigger battery for the macbook?

this puny thing runs down too **** fast!

While those people coming from the PC world may feel that 3.5 - 4 hour battery life is good, I find it pretty poor. Portable PCs designed with battery life in mind have much better lives than this (the cheap laptops won't, but the MacBook isn't exactly a cheap laptop). Additionally, and more importantly, the 12 and 14 inch iBooks that the MacBook replaced had much better battery life (over 5 hours when using it on low brightness, but with moderate processing and wireless being on).
The fact that these machines burn so much power is kind of sad, as they should be capable of dissipating far less power than their iBook counterparts. Hopefully apple will fix this by actually implementing speed step properly, shutting down cores and actually running the machine at 1GHz when the processor isn't being hammered. This could dramatically lower the machines power consumption. Even there though I imagine the battery life will be less than that of the iBook, not sure exactly why though as the cpu wouldn't be the primary power consumer.

  • Can you get an Apple ID for corporate use to associate with more than 10 devices?

Can you get an Apple ID for corporate use to associate with more than 10 devices?

I don't believe you can. The usual model for iOS app distribution is for each device to have a unique Apple ID and for apps to be acquired separately, either via codes from the Volume Purchase Program or individual purchase through the iTunes Store. The licensing from the iTunes Store doesn't allow an app to be installed on more than one device unless all the devices are being used by a single person, so you legally cannot install one app on multiple corporate devices in the circumstances most businesses use.

  • Where is Paris can you get a replacement screen for and iPhone 5

I don't believe Apple stores in Europe replace iPhone screens. I believe they replace the whole phone.

  • Can you get your photos back after the iphone does a restore

Can you get your photos back after the iphone does a restore?

    Actually, wrong.
The tech support people can help with Playbook purchased apps. If you've called and they said they cannot, you were lied to.
Even in the link you posted, in #10, it states clearly "App Refund related matters are handled by BlackBerry Customer Care." That, my friend is accessed by the support number. Again, if you were told otherwise, you should inform them of such or ask for a manage/supervisor.
And, you don't have a "Partner ID" because you are not a "Partner". The section you're referring to applies to mobile providers, which are the Partners.
    Good luck.

There is no serial number and you don't need one. What you need for a subscription is to SIGN IN within Acrobat, so it knows the subscriptions you own.

  • Where can I get an EPSON printer for the original iMac?

Where can I get an EPSON printer for the original iMac?

You should look for an Epson Stylus Color 740 or the higher-end 900 or 980, which are about 12 years old now.  All have USB connectivity, and while the 900/980 is a better/faster printer, it's harder to find the ink tanks for it at the usual office supply stores.  Ink tanks for the 740 series seem to be more readily available, without a special order.  There were Mac versions of these printers (the 740i and 900i), with blue/ice housings that were color-keyed to match the fruit-colored "blueberry" iMac and Blue & White G3 mini-tower.  There was no Epson printer that was color-keyed to the original Bondi Blue iMacs.

Trouble is appl no longer sells it, you have to search eBay & such for the full retail version, not any grey Install Disc.
