After i update my iphone 4s to iOS 6.1 i am not able to use facetym. Its always connection lost even my wifi network is ok. my mobile number is registered on facetym but it is not even working instead my apple id or email must be registered.

Sounds like you iPad or the receiver's iPad is dropping the wifi signal.

Oh boy! Acting kind of weird seems to be an understatement, aquaequus!
What type of troubleshooting were we able to do with you? I want to make sure that we can get some sort of resolution for this problem.
It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

I created a new apple id to use on an iPad2 since I couldnt get original to verify in face time and now the new ID which has been verified on the Apple site wont verify on the iPad WTH?????

I've been using facetime on my air for a year with no problem, but suddenly i've been asked to register. i sign into my mac account & then get this message, repeatedly: "the server encountered an error processing registration. please try later." please help!?!

I found an article that might help with the FaceTime registration issue you are experiencing on your Mac. I recommend following these steps:
Activating FaceTime for Mac
Use your Apple ID to register and use FaceTime. FaceTime registration validates your Apple ID and email address for use with FaceTime.
If you are unable to activate FaceTime, try the following:
Sign in to FaceTime for Mac using a valid Apple ID. After you validate the email address for use with FaceTime, other FaceTime users can connect to you using that email address. If you encounter issues registering or using an Apple ID account:
Ensure that you have an active Internet connection.
Verify that you are using a valid Apple ID at appleid.apple.com. You can also create an Apple ID or reset your password from this website.
Check that your email address is verified in FaceTime > Preferences.If FaceTime > Preferences shows your email status as "verifying," follow the instructions in the verification email that was sent to complete the process.
Toggle FaceTime off and on in FaceTime > Preferences.
If still unable to Sign In follow the instructions in FaceTime, Game Center, Messages on OS X: Troubleshooting Sign in

Ipad 4 retina display facetime problem

i have a ipad 4 retina wifi my problem is face time is not install on my ipad. i can only see 's the face time icon only in notification. what would i do so ican use my facetime app? plesa

It just does. I have a 3 year old iPad 2 and it's common for me to unplug it and have it down to 99% very quickly.

Facetime Problem...anyone help?

Recently I got my IPHONE 4 in Australia. However i have encounter problem when i try to use Facetime.
The problem is that when I call a person, the person picks up but he/she barely hears what I am talking (even when I'm shouting on the mic). On the other hand, i have no problem with hearing. I have already tried with four friends, and 4 of them barely hear me at all. I have also asked person 1 to test with person 2..and so on. They can all hear each other, whereas they barely hear me. What is the problem.
Furthermore, they have set volume to max and everything is activated.
Again. I have restart my phone (power off and power on)
I did a soft reset( press home and power together)
I even restore my phone to factory and it still has the problem.
I used another wifi spot and still has the same problem.

If no change after restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, call AppleCare if available in your county, make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby, or if your chosen carrier for the iPhone handles support and a possible exchange under warranty for the iPhone, contact your carrier.

FaceTime Problem

Hi, I have an iPhone 4S and I recently updated its software from 5.0.1 to 7.0.2, update was successful but I can't find Facetime anywhere on the device.
I have seen an older phones versions with Facetime working on it.
Please advice how to get facetime ,knowing that iMessage is working perfectly.

well our numbers were ported from another provider, but I'm not sure if they called us or the other way around. All I can tell you is we seem to have no problem FaceTiming with our other friends who have iP4s, it's only our two phones that can't seem to connect. Basically, when we try it just shows a question mark on the FT icon and says something like "FaceTime failed." Pretty strange, eh?

I have facetime problem with my iPhone 5.

I never have this problem with iPhone 4 but with iPhone 5 during conversation it keep freezing and reconecting.. Any help will greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to use the phone in Bahrain with a supported carrier there? I suspect not. If you try to use this phone outside of Bahrain, you won't have FaceTime. This is done to prevent folks from simply crossing the border to purchase iPhones in Bahrain...FaceTime is banned in Saudi Arabia & the UAE. Sorry, but you'll only have FaceTime on that phone while using it in Bahrain on a supported carrier's network there.

HT1338 Facetime Problems

Since I installed iOS6 on my iPad, I'm having real problems with Facetime connecting to my MacBook Pro. It connects for an instant than fails. It says that I'm not available. I've tried it over several different wifis and I get the same result. I'm running Mtn Lion and before I upgraded to iOS6, I had no problems. What am I doing wrong?

FaceTime Problem - MacBook Pro Retina

Hello everyone, as the title suggests, I have a problem with FaceTime.
During a video call (only a video call, during FaceTime Audio I don't have any problems) I hear and see the other person well, but the other person sees me and feels jerky, sometimes subtle, but sometimes that makes it impossible for the other person to understand me. Tried with three different people.
how to solve?
It is not a wifi problem because I've tried with the iPhone and it did not give these problems ...

I have the same computer as you, and I've noticed the same thing. Both facetime and skype have similar audio issues. I can seem to hear the other side fine, but my audio particularly breaks up a lot.
The audio though my phone is perfectly fine when I facetime though the same network using my iphone. I previously had a 15" macbook pro late 2011 and the audio was fine. I realize the microphones are different in this new retina (late 2013) model - though the audio problems seem to occur even with an external microphone as well.

Hello, I am currently using iOS 7.0.3 on an iPhone 4S and last night I found the problem of my imessage and FaceTime not activating. Recently I just fixed the problem of iMessage not starting. Each time I try to activate iMessage or FaceTime, I get "iMessage activation, an error occurred during activation. Try again." And when I try to sign in it says"could not sign in, check your network connection and try again." Could someone please help me figure out what's going on?!?
