HT204387 Jam plus Bluetooth

Bluetooth pairing issues with a pair of Jam Plus speakers switching between my Ipad2 and IPhone5

I had the same problem too. If you previously had the Jam Plus connected to another device please disable the Bluetooth on that device. Now on your Jam Plus itself you must hold the button that has the play and pause sign. Hold that button for five seconds or until you see the blue light above the Bluetooth sign starts blinking faster. The Bluetooth sign will be located on the right side next to the plus sign. Once the blue light starts blinking faster go on to the device that you want to pair it to. On your device in the Bluetooth settings it should say Jam or Jam Plus. It should definitely say something with the work Jam. Ounce you press Jam or Jam Plus on your device you will hear the Jam Plus make a sound that last 1 second indicating that it’s paired with your device. I hope this helped you.

  • Jam Plus Bluetooth Speaker Won't Connect

Bought new Jam Plus BT speaker, but it won't connect to my 9470M EliteBook.  Other BT devices work just fine.  Item shows up after "adding new device," but yellow trouble triangle indicates it's a driver issue.  In device driver list, it shows up under other devices.  Checked my BT settings and eveything's checked for discoverable, etc.  Speaker pairs and works with my iPad, so not a speaker issue.  CS at Jam says its an HP software problem.  Already downloaded SP67005.  Any other suggestions?

    Hello @SD28 ,
Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!
I understand you are experiencing an issue with your notebook. However, since this is a commercial notebook, you should post your issue on the notebook board of the HP Enterprise Forums for a better answer.

  • 7th generation nano isn't picking up Bluetooth on Jam Plus speakers. Any suggestions?

I cannot seem to get my nano to pick up the bluetooth connection to my Jam Plus speakers. It just keeps searching. Any suggestions?

If you have any other devices that have connected with the Jam Plus speakers turn BT off on those devices. Then put the Jam Plus in pairing mode and try again.

Hi I'm able to pair two jam plus speakers together and appear on the touch, but when you play music it keeps pausing on the touch, reset them and repaired and this keeps happening, does anyone have any ideas?

Does it work when paired to another device?
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • MSI GE60 0ND and Intel Dualband Wireless-AC 7260 plus Bluetooth

I recently bought a Intel Dualband Wireless-AC 7260 plus Bluetooth Adapter (Model Number: 7260HMW) for my MSI GE60 0ND to replace the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 135.
Wifi works without any problem, but bluetooth does not, even with the newest Intel drivers v3.1.1309.
The bluetooth device isnt even listed in the device manager - there are also no unknown devices.
I´m using Windows 8 - also tried Windows 8.1 and a Fedora 20 Live-CD with the same result.
There is no bluetooth device listed.
Could it be possible that bluetooth function of the Intel 7260HMW is somehow disabled in the bios?

I tried the Intel Dualband Wireless-AC 7260 plus Bluetooth Adapter in a Desktop Asus Maximus V Gene using a mPcie Combo-Adapter. Wifi and Bluetooth worked without any issue.
The Intel 7260 is definitly working.
Another issue regarding my MSI GE60:
I switched back to my Intel Centrino Wireless-N 135 and still have no bluetooth functionality. I thought it would be a driver issue, but there are still no bluetooth devices listed in the device manager Windows 8.1). Under Linux Fedora 20 are also no bluetooth devices present.
It seems like bluetooth is somehow hardware disabled. In bios are no bluetooth options visible
Edit: Using Fedora and FN-Key + F9 enabled bluetoth for the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 135 again. Maybe when the SCM / FN-Key Application will work under Windows 8.1, enabling/disabling bluetooth using Windows 8.1 will be possible too

  • IPhone 6 plus Bluetooth not auto connecting - sometimes

    Hi all,
I've seen numerous sites about numerous issues with blutooth on iOS 8 and iPhone 6
But I do not have an issue pairing, that is not what this post is about. I can pair just fine. I can pair to my car just fine. It syncs the contacts just fine. I can play music, use Siri and make phone calls just fine.
BUT; infrequently; something happens to the bluetooth on my iphone 6 Plus. I get in my car an my phone has not connected one day, at random. I look at bluetooth on my phone and it makes no attempt to connect to the car, so I select the car, it thinks about it and then after a while says to make sure it is in range, couldn't connect.
To resolve this; I turn off bluetooth on the iPhone, and turn it back on. Immediately it connects to the car. This works if I do it from the slide up control center also.
Similarly, I've experienced Airdrop just fail to find anyone via bluetooth, until I do the same, Off On bluetooth on the phone and suddenly everyone appears again. Again intermittantly.
    What I've Tried.
Restarting phone. Hard restarting phone. Resetting network settings. Unpairing all bluetooth devices and re-pairing (note pairing has nothing to do with airdrop) and many combinations.
Symptoms suggest the bluetooth chip on the iphone has crashed and just isn't receiving anymore.
iPhone 6 plus; latest OS. originally restored from a backup of an iPhone 4S running iOS8. No other issues with device other than wsometimes screen doesnt wake on first press of home button / lock button.
Has anyone experienced this issue? If so did you resolve it? If not do you have plans? This is starting to get annoying enough for me to just return it. My old iphone doesnt have this issue.

I have this problem too.  My phone and car (2013 Hyundai Elantra GT) are paired and there's no problem with that.  Normally, they automatically connect via Bluetooth when I start the car.  However, occasionally, they don't.  When I try to manually make them connect (from the phone or the vehicle), the connection fails repeatedly.
I'm not going to do "Reset all Network Settings" on my phone unless it's a last resort and guaranteed fix because I don't want to lose wifi logins to every wifi network I've ever connected to.

  • I phone 6 plus bluetooth not finding my mac, however my mac does find my i phone, how to make bluetooth to view my mac?

I am having an issue with airdrop, my mac does see my iphone and can send to it without problems however my i phone 6 plus does not see the mac or any other devise for that matter. blue tooth is on and the icon is on as well. but is blind. However other devises see it and even interact with it.
Any ideas how to solve this?

There's nothing to solve, as it is working the way intended. See: Bluetooth: Why can't I pair my iPhone or iPad with my computer?

  • IPhone 6 plus Bluetooth compatibility for Infiniti

Has anyone who has an 2013 Infiniti been able to connect their IPhone 6 Plus to their Bluetooth? I've been told for the last 4- 5 months Apple would be fixing the problem with the next update. However, that has not happened. I was told today that when the watch comes out April 24 it will have another update but they don't know if it will fix this problem. I was told by Apple today that if I want it to work I need to downgrade to 5S. This doesn't make sense. I have a newer car, how can it not be compatible? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I haven't seen many issues with Infiniti connectivity. Have you gotten out the Infiniti manual, cleared the BlueTooth settings, then put it into Pairing mode, at the same time the phone is in Settings/BlueTooth?

  • IPhone 6 and 6 plus bluetooth issue

I did test many times and changed phone two times. Same problem.
Just put it in pants back pocket then start noise and bad connecting.
I think Apple use to cheap Bluetooth part.
I did pairing to Samsung Galaxy S 5 and working fine.
When i had iPhone 5 no bluetooth problem at all.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has Bluetooth problem.
I'm not sure... hardware problem or software problem?
I tested all my friends iPhone 6 and 6 plus. It's same problem.
So maybe Apple have to recall iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus.

    Hi Elvis,
I experience exactly the same behavior. Many problems with iPhone 6 and bluetooth. Do you have special devices connected to your iPhone? I use my pebble smartwatch with and, also "tile" and an iZettle Card Reader and some bluetooth speakers. Also, I have it connected to 2 car audio hifi radios.
The sound always breaks and starts again. The iZettle card reader disconnects after 10 seconds and reconnects. My pebble smartwatch is now on low battery after 24 hours (from before 10 days with an iPhone 5!!)
Can you shortly describe which devices you have connected? Maybe there is a problem with one of them...

  • 6 plus bluetooth reconnection problem

My 6 plus was able to pairing with Ooma-Telo (IP phone) no problem.  But, if I leave home and come back, it will not automatically reconnected.  Anybody know what is the problem?

  • HT204387 Problem with Bluetooth connection.

While I can pair my LG 290c cell phone with my iPad (getting a confirmation number on both screens), when I attempt to make the connection, a "LG290c not supported" message comes up.  Not sure why it pairs in the first place if not supported.
Can anyone offer suggestions or help?

Thank you for the prompt response and the information provided.
I went to the web site you provided and reviewed the "supported Bluetooth profiles" listed there.
In looking at  the one marked HFP 1.6, it seems to be stating that if I interject a Bluetooth-capable headset between the iPad and the telephone, I might not only get all three devices to "pair," but perhaps even be able to get all three connected to one another.
Have you--or any other reader--had any experience with such a set-up?
I have a Magellan GPS unit in my car, and I've not only been able to pair the phone and the GPS unit, but now calls made to the telephone can actually be heard on the GPS unit (creating not just a "hands-free" environment," but one where I can actually hear the caller much better than I could with any annoying earpiece or "bud," etc.  I thought if I could do the same with the iPad, I'd be able to enjoy the same convenience while away from the car.

  • HT204387 IOS 6 Bluetooth

    Hi,
Since doing the IOS 6 update i have been having trouble connecting my phone to my cars bluetooth for hands free... Any Ideas?

I have been having the same problem.  since ios 6 my Kenwood car stereo wont (consistently) stay synched with my iPhone 4S with the new IOS 6 software.  I called Kenwood customer service and they told me I was the third person to call with this problem and they said it was likely not a hardware problem but rather an IOS 6 issue.  At first he said Kenwood would likely come out with a firmware update to work with IOS 6 but towards the end of the call he felt that it would be Apple updating IOS 6 itself to fix this "bug".   I called AppleCare to cover all the bases and the agent I spoke to hadn't encountered this yet but she took down my information and she suggest I provide feedback to apple.com/feedback.  (which I did)
The sense I get is Apple will fix this bug with an IOS 6 upgrade in the weeks ahead.  I did a google search of this problem and lots of people are now seeing it (along with problems streaming audio between iphone and car radio since IOS 6.
One thing that helps is when I get in my car (and the phone won't stay connected with the radio) the thing I do is go into the phone's setting and turn off bluetooth for 5 seconds, then turn it back on.  Most of the time my radio then discovers the iPhone and the two stay connected.  It's a bit of a hastle but at least it's something pending the permenant fix by Apple.  Hope this helps some people.
