Connect for what reason? Do you mean a bluetooth headset?
FYI, "Bluetooth" is a wireless connection technology, not a physical device, and is used to connect many devices.

Did you remove Quicktime X?
On a normal install Quicktime 7 is installed in the Utilities folder and Quicktime Pro in the main Applications folder.
You will need to reinstall OS X to get Quicktime X back if you have deleted it.
I notice yor profile says 10.5.8. Quicktime X is only available on 10.6 and above. -
Paypal for Family Sharing - Why can't I use PayPal with Family Sharing? Have a US Visa card but a foreign address, and Apple does not seem to be able to cope with that (even though it is a multinational corporation). So I set up payment with Paypal, and it worked fine. Now I want to take advantage of Family Sharing, but Apple won't allow it. Could we lean on Apple to change this policy?
If you are not in the US then you cannot use the US store, the store's terms say that you have to be in a country to use it - if you are using the US store then you are risking having your account disabled.

If you spilled champagne on it, chances are not good. If you haven't alredy DO NOT turn it on or charge it. I would immediately take it to the Genius Bar and see if they can clean it up before.
Had the same problem with a 15" MBP and a tea spill and I did the opposite. Trashed the Logic & Keyboard Assembly. Cost to repair was going to be more than what I paid for a computer so ended up having to replace it. -

I am trying with the cable of the iPod now, but still the same: the laptop does not detect the iPhone and the iPhone does not turn on. I think the iPhone cable works because when I connect it to the power as if I was charging the battery, the Apple logo appears on the screen but that's all. I only have one computer at home.

Do you have:
Settings > iCloud > Documents & Data > Documents & Data > On
Is your network working for everything else? eg Mail & Safari?

Is there a way to sync my ical with my husbands if I have mobile me and he does not?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your device for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

I am sad, I have days trying to use Airdrop, my friends can see me, but I can not see them. I turned on my Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and I selected the option "available for ALL".... and nothing. HP (and Apple?) need to fess up and tell all the people who have HP printers when they will "just work" with their machines and OS X Lion.... because for many of us, they just don't! It isn't rocket science guys.... blithely telling us that downloading S/W updates from Apple doesn't help.... because they don't solve the problems! -
DBMS_TYPES with timestamp and interval does not seem to work.
I have a PL/SQL script that seems to work for char,varchar,numerics, dates, but not for intervals. I basically took example code out of the Oracle manuals and stitched it together.
The code in question is the function colTypeString. Apparently, interval is not being recognized as a type, so the function is returning back unknown. The documentation seems a bit spartan, so I thought perhaps you can help me out.

user554561The issue is that DBMS_SQL and DBMS_TYPES have different typecodes. Which means you can't interrogate the DBMS_SQL.DESC_REC using DBMS_TYPES constants. You could create yourself a package of DBMS_SQL_TYPES.
