Like I said. iPhone 5. OS 6.1.4. I only know of one other person who has this issue. I have deleted the app, deleted the account, hard reboot, soft reboot, reinstalled app. I get a double beep and no speach recognition. Please help.
Yes, it does. It stopped working one other time, I deleted and reinstalled, and it worked fine. Then it stopped again but this time I couldn'g get voice recognition.
And by the way, I can use Siri to tweet with without having the app open. But I can't reply to tweets.

Im having the same problem. I just got the itouch 4g this past sunday and everything was working great. Yesterday and today the camera went black out of nowhere and its black right now. After i turned it on and off it went back on but its doing it again. So i assume its just an iOS 5 bug thats doing this. But is there any talk about fixing this?

I opened a word attachment to an email in my gmail account and now I can't get rid of it. When I tap the mail icon the doc appears not my emails. Can anyone help?

2/3/14: I just updated numbers to newest version and found that numbers quits to home screen when I tap the information icon on "function help", it starts to load the "help" then quits. It happens on both my ipad3 & iphone5. I tried restarting the devices but it didn't help.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. When I choose external editor in iPhoto on my iMac it does not recognize Aperture. When I do the same on my laptop it works? Any ideas?
No idea, but Aperture is not an external editor. Like iPhoto, Aperture is a Photo Manager. It's a database. There is no way to round trip a shot from iPhoto to Aperture and back again like you can with Photshop or an image editor.
Given that Aperture does pretty much everything that iPhoto does - and a whole lot more - it begs the question: why not just use it to manage your photos? -
I am using Aperture V3 and have a caption included at the foot of each photo. I want this caption included when I export the photo to another device (eg iPad). Any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated.
The "caption" is metadata. Metadata is included in most image-format files. How it is displayed is determined by the program you use to show the picture on the computer screen. You currently have Aperture set to "over-lay" the caption at the bottom of the Image.
What program are you using on your other devices to show the files? -
I want to delete safari home page shortcuts. Previous answers to this question indicate that i should tap the book icon>select favorites>then tap edit.
There is no option to select favorites. Why.You're suffering from two common misconceptions.

I have Cox, AOL and Gmail Accounts.When I tap the Mail Icon, only Gmail shows up?

When tapping the Mail Icon, on the IPad 2, only Gmail shows up.
How can I check the others?You have to define each account you want to access. Go into settings, the email part, and add accounts. You need to know whether each one is an IMAP or POP account. Enter the incoming and outgoing server addresses, your account and password. Etc.

I can delete history in safari but when i tap the Google icon on home page, it doesn't work
I have Safari on the Home screen and it opens to Google. I never use that icon. There is also a separate Google icon. I want to delete all history and cookies from Google. I found instruction online for how to delete history from Safari which i did successfully. But when i touch the Google icon on Home screen, the history still is there. I just don't know what to do. There must be a way. btw, i don't know why i have both Safari and Google. I might have added Google when i got the iPod or perhaps somone else did. i'm not sure it was there when i bought it.

App Store icon on Home Screen > Search, at bottom > entered Google
The first Google App on the screen appears:
Google logo small g in blue square: Google Search; Open (because it is already installed). Below that is a picture of the iPod with the usual Google Search screen. I have never inserted a link into a discussion group so i hope you can open this.

I can't use my message on the iPad when I touch the icon it goes right back to home screen. And if I use from contacts and I hit the upper left hand writing implement it goes back to home screen.
Try to Reset your device:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first). -
I've just installed Photoshop Elements 12 on my PC computer. At the end of the installation, I received a message that the installation was successful. I then tried to click on the desktop icon, but it won't open. Any ideas as to what could be going on? Thanks very much!

Try to rename SLCacje to Slcache.old
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
and
SLStore to Slstore.old
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
and Right Click on the Photoshop Elements 12 icon and run as administrator

In the videos on the website I have seen a thumbnail icon next to the bookmarks icon for viewing all your open web pages. Mine is missing.Any idea why or how do I put one on?
Safari now uses tabs in iOS 5 so that icon is no longer in Safari. You have to tap on the + sign on the right side of the toolbar to create a new tab. You can open a new web site in that tab. You navigate from open page to open page by tapping on the tabs.
To close a tab - tap on the X in the left side of the tab.
