Is anyone else having big problems synching with iTunes 11.1.3.8

Hi is anyone else getting the same problems that I get with iTunes 11.1.3.8?
iTunes is VERY slow to load. Then when I try to dowload updates it downloads the first update, then hangs saying "Processing File" It will stay like this until I restart the computer. Sometimes I get the Error Message: Err 3253.
If I try to close iTunes and then reopen it, it WILL NOT OPEN!
I have tried repairing itunes through the Control Panel.
And I have tried deleting and the reinstalling it.
Any help, advice etc gratefully accepted.

Here's a few temporary work-arounds that may work for you, hopefully you don't have a HUGE amount of apps on your iTunes that need updating.
1.) Update all of the apps via your iPhone/iPad and then sync your device with your iTunes, that will update all the apps that you're unable to update via download on iTunes.
2.) If the apps aren't on your iPhone/iPad and you've got the room, redownload them to your iPhone/iPad and sync your device. That will update the apps you're unable to update via iTunes, you can delete them off your phone/pad when you're done updating them on your computer.
3.) Instead of "updating" the apps via the update section of iTunes, make note of what the app is, check that it's still available for download on the store (sometimes stuff gets pulled and you don't want to do this before you check) - once you've confirmed that the app is still available for download, instead of downloading it in the update section DELETE it (remove it entirely from your iTunes and send it to recycle) then RE-DOWNLOAD it fresh from the store, I've found that it's only the update section that hangs on processing, not the store section.
Hope those help, that's what I did because I'm compulsive about keeping my apps and software up to date.

My work computer won't access songs from iTunes Match

Here's what happened: I started using iTunes Match about a month ago. I had a 7500+ song library on my Hewlett Packard Windows 7 64bit laptop. I did the matching process and about 3000 songs were unmatched. Match started to upload them and it took forever (I have a slow internet connection at home), so I took a hint from a poster at Apple Support and copied my library to a portable disk which I brought to my office. I tried to get the iTunes on my work computer to recognize the library on the portable disk, but couldn't do it, so I copied the whole library to my hard drive at work, reinstalled iTunes, and it recognized the new library. It then uploaded all my songs in an hour or two.
Then, I decided I didn't want my whole library to be taking up tens of GB of space on my office computer, so I deleted the music portion of the iTunes Media folder--I figured, it will all be available via streaming from iTunes Match, right? Well, it wasn't. Now when I log onto iTunes, all but a very small number of songs are unavailable: they are listed as being in the Library, but when I click on them to stream them, I get the error message "The song "x" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" If I click "Yes", I am taken to the local music library on the work computer, which contains next to nothing.
I have deleted and re-installed iTunes. No help. I have turned off Match and turned it back on. No help. I have updated Match. Nothing.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong and how to get my work computer iTunes to stream my Match results?

Figured it out! All you have to do is select all songs (from the Edit menu), right click on them and "delete" them. You won't actually delete them, they're still there in the cloud, but now the little download cloud symbol appears and I can stream all my music at work.
One warning--if the cloud download symbol is already there, don't delete the song. Just go through after selecting the songs and de-select any song with a cloud symbol next to it, otherwise it will be deleted from the cloud, too.
I figured this out all on my own with no help from Apple. Typical.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Anyone else having problems accessing domains in safari ending in .local?

Hi,
Any URL I tap into safari which ends in .local e.g. my company network machine.company.local fails. I seem to recollect having the same problem on OS X years ago but the resolution was editing some file which is obviously not going to happen on my itouch. The only way I've found around this is to tap in the IP address instead of the machine name. Any ideas how to fix on a an IPT.

Anyone else having difficulty with Adobe Photoshop CC and Epson Stylus Photo R3000?

Everytime I try to print an image from Photoshop CC to my Epson Stylus Photo R3000, it can't seem to find the printer. I have no problem printing the same image from Lightroom 5 or Preview on Mac. The printer shows in the Photoshop Print Dialogue box but after I click Print the print queue just says searching for printer and can't find it. I can print a test page from the printer Utility and anything else I try, just not Photoshop CC. I'm running OSX 10.9 Mavericks. Thanks.

Today has been the best day for this forum as far as speed and errors.
With that said, <imho> it has not been the same for almost 6 months. Way back when, this forum would become "unavailable" at 12ish and again at 7ish daily, almost like clockwork, it would be down for 30 minutes or so. But when it came back up it was fast fast fast... Now, no downtime or much less, but it hardly works the way it should.
A couple of tricks I've learned along the way to speed things up. Reload a page and then go to next link will usually do the trick. When I post, I usually need to reload the reply page and it will finally post my message. I've found w/o doing the reload/refresh thing, it could sit there for an eternity with an error page at the end.

Is anyone else having difficulty with the iPhone 6 Plus intermittently not responding to touches on the screen in horizontal mode?

My iPhone 6+ is occasionally not responding to touches on the screen when in horizontal mode. This happens both in the apps and on the home screen. In other words, when you go to touch on an area of the screen, it does not register. Even if the view is horizontal, when I rotated vertically the horizontal view will respond.

I've not had issues. What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

Is anyone else having difficulty syncing yahoo contacts with icloud?

I don't know how long it has been since my yahoo contacts quit syncing with icloud to my ipod touch 4g. I've tried every possible combination today and nothing will get it to work other than going back to the old way of syncing through itunes with the cable connected.
The yahoo group of contacts is blank on my ipod but it seems to be syncing with the "All from My Pc" group which I don't quite understand. I thought before the yahoo group of contacts was full of the yahoo syncd contacts.
I use Yahoo mail so I'm not crazy about moving over to Google although I did already move to use the Google calendar with an android tablet and I am syncing the google calendar just fine with both the android tablet and the ipod touch.

Yes, I've had call quality issues with my S5. I can hear callers just fine. To them, I sound broken, or they hear nothing but static and garbled noise. Speakerphone works, but is not ideal. Bluetooth works, but I'm not always in my car or connected to bluetooth. A plugged in headset works.
For a time, turning off bluetooth seemed to resolve this. Then I did the update to Lollipop, and the issue intensified. I've tried multiple setting combinations (HD calling off and on, Bluetooth off and on, network Global to LTE/CDMA, Noise reduction off and on, etc...) I've done a system cache clear, FDR, deactivated and reactivated.... finally activated another phone I had available since the S5 was pretty much unusable as a phone. And I'm waiting for a patch to see if it makes a difference.
I wish I had a solution....

For some reason my windows itunes no longer automatically detects my ipad and ipod. The device button fails to appear on my menu bar. I have gone through all the advice on the apple itunes site and have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes on my computer. When i connect my ipad via the USB port it recognises the ipad but opens up a window in my computer. I'm at my wits end trying to get answers. This problem only arose after the last time I received a message through my automatic update system. Is there some sort of bug in the itunes version 64 bit for windows 8?

Doublechecking. Have you also tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

Anyone else having problem with RAID and iTunes syncing photos in Vista?

For whatever reason iTunes can not load some of the photos from C drive. It can do it from D drive, though VERY slow. Both C and D are NTFS system, but C is a RAID 0 drive (implemented by hardware on motherboard, Intel 82801G controller). I just wander if this is something related to iTunes not working correctly with RAID drivers, or is it something else? I should say that ALL other programs and games working fine on this drive.

Is anyone else having issues adding artwork in iTunes 12

I recently upgraded to iTunes 12, and I can't add artwork to my movie files in iTunes 12. I can drag cover art into the artwork window like I used to able to do in iTunes 11, but when I click OK it doesn't save it.
Also, what happened to the Artist field? I used to store all of my actor information there, and now it is gone. The only fields to add are about the composer and comments.
