Since updating to ios6 I can't view any music on my iPhone. Previously i had all music library matched and could view everything on my phone as could my husband on his iPhone. My husbands still able to view music since upgrading to io6 but I can't. I have an iPhone 4 and he has an iPhone 4S. It originally showed the artists and showed songs but there were no album names or track names and the length of each song was 0:00. Now there is nothing at all showing and no playlists. All my music and playlists are on iTunes. Please help!

I had the same problem. Could not connect my iPad (3/new) to the personal hotspot from my iphone4. Bothe are running ios6.
I don't know if this will permanently fix your problem but it seemed to work for me.
First, restart both (iPhone and iPad).
Then, on the iPad go to settings - general - Siri, and turn Siri off.
Now turn on hotspot on your phone and connect your iPad.
Hopefully this helped.
Apple support team, apart from maps, there are several bugs in ios6. I regret updating my devices To ios6. Please fix.

Ever since I updated to ios 6 on my iPhone 4S, iTunes Match has not worked.
I have been through the process of deleting my iTunes control files, and that worked temporarily, but now I cannot listen to music through the service.
It shows my artists and albums, then takes forever to access the songs (often more than 10 minutes - and yes, that's using WiFi), more often than not crashing before it gets to that point, then repeatedly crashing when I try to open the Music App, so I can't even access things I've downloaded.
Has anyone else found a solution?
Apple, please listen up - I am paying you for the iTunes Match service that is utterly useless. Fix it please.

After some troubleshooting, I decided to order a new battery. I replaced the battery and was then able to get it to restore, however--after I restore it and it comes time to restart the phone, it gets stuck and doesn't turn on.

She does not have apple care and even though she loved this device, she isn't going to buy another iPhone because of all the problems shes had with this one (it's just over a year old).
After you ruined the iPhone with DIY, Apple won't touch it anymore. You should have asked before all these had happened.

You could never text using the Messages App with a non Apple Phone. Messages only works with other iOS devices so unless you were using a third party app, you never could text with a non Apple phone. Its impossible with the built in Messages app.

The nice thing about owning this overpriced POS is that Apple not only doesn't support it, but also doesn't want to hear about anything negative regarding it. HT204291 Airplay mirroring on my iPhone 4s has disappeared since updating to iOS6.1. Has anyone else seen this same problem?

The mirror option seems to be missing since updating to iOS6.1
I can still use airplay from applications that allow it, however I can not find the option to mirror my whole iPhone as I could with iOS 6.0.
Anyone know a workaround?

I have the same issue. Any other app works with airplay. Music app, videos received in iMessages, YouTube and so on. The videos in the camera roll don't want to airplay. Either I get a black screen or a spinning wheel on TV. Any ideas?

Since updating to Mavericks, i can no longer use my Ethernet USB adopter as the drivers are only supported to the previous version. I need to use this where i work as Mac's cant accsess the wireless. Ive been told the only option restore to the prev OSX.. The only problem is i havnt set up time machine.
Is there anything i can do to either revert to the original OSX ( the mac is only a month old) or restore to an older version without using timemachine.... Or even better just get my Adoptor to work?
Any help would be very much appriciated as i can only go for so long with the internet at work.

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

One needs to press the home and sleep / wake keys together for the phone to reset
The other thing I could recommend
Let the battery run out and the phone completely "die"
It may take a day or two with it not being used
Then plug it in to charge and see if there is any change in behavior
If you cannot get this to work - you may need to bring it to an Apple store

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
