I have a new iPod Touch and one apple ID. I want to use My laptop aswell as my desktop computer for the one ipod, using the same apple ID. I have music on both computers and want to merge the two without losing any music or apps. How do I do this?
My iPod has music and apps from my apple ID that I downloaded to my iPod via iCloud and some apps that I got free from the store, straight onto my iPod, but my laptop has some music on it aswell, separate from my other library. I want to put the music from my laptop into my iTunes library which I want to use on both computers. Is it possible to do this?
Thanks.- You can only sync an iPod to one iTunes library/computer. You can however, manually manage music and videos among different libraries.
Go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.

I have the latest iTunes software on my iMac mini and now have IOS7 on my iPhone and now I cant sync music from my library either by wifi or by usb? I get song lists that scoll at a million miles an hour but no actual content. What should I do to get my music onto my iphone.
Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
Every time i connect my iphone to itunes and trying to do a backup or get the new update it says i have to restore my iphone. and then that doesnt work, i tried to reinstall itunes but it doesnt work. i get this all the time. fix it please.
iTunes states " There's a problem with your Iphone, please contact apple service center " Also i took my iphone to a local service man and he told me the IMEI code has been corrupted and there's nothing that can be done about it. Please help, if you have any solution.

My iphone wont connect to itunes on my macbook after I have already synced it. I am running the lastest itunes 10.4 and I have tried restarting both phone and mac. Can anyone suggest what I can do?
You will have to put your phone into recovery mode and restore the phone as new. Since you don't have a back up, you will lose all the data on your phone but you will be able to use it again.

When we miss a call, the "Slide to Unlock" doesn't respond to touch. The only way out is to have someone call your iphone and then "Slide to Answer" will respond and once u end the call it will start responding to "Slide to Unlock" this started happening after upgrading to IOS 7.
iphone 4S IOS 7.0.3.In your first post you mention you have done a reset and a restore. Those are the last two processes in the user troubleshooting. If those do not work, then the last thing is to go to the Genius Bar. You say you went to Apple and they opened the phone and re-seated the connectors? That sounds unusual, because if there was a hardware issue,they would replace the hardware. You say you cannot get a replacement, is that because you are out of warranty? An out of warranty replacement is only $199 plus tax. It seems to me since you mention the fact you need to press hard to get the screen to react there is something going on with the hardware. If this problem has been going on for over a year, have you been reporting this to Apple. You say you cannot get a replacement and you are on the second phone, I wonder why they are denying you a replacement. Is there something you are not telling us??

i tried updating my iphone 4s to the ios 7 but it said error with the firmware now my phone is stuck in recovery mode and i have no idea how to fix it any suggestions??
Try Restoring it 3 times in a row and see if that works.
If not that error can indicate one of two things: Your iPhone was at one time jailbroken, had the iOS version rolled back, or ran an unauthorized beta and if none of those things are true it is a hardware error. -
my apple tv was working fine untill the AirPlay option disappeared. I haven alterd the settings and have tryed rebooting both iPhone and ipad. I even rebooted the ATV and that disn't work. i am connected to the same network on both devices to. My iPad is up to date but my phone isn't but as I said mirroring and AirPlay worked fine on both devices befor...

I have no sound from x factor app on iPad, any suggestions please?
I have just downloaded the x factor App on my iPad. I have no sound. All my sounds are on, but for my keyboard..and. Not sure how to turn that back on as it's displaying on under settings in sounds. All sound from every other app is coming through. Any suggestions please?
Are you sure that you don't have system sounds muted? You will still have sound in the Music App and YouTube even with systems sounds muted.
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

I am traveling to the Philippines next week and am confused on whether I need to buy a converter to be able to charge my Iphone (and Ipad). I was told I did not as the chargers were universal and automatically converted anywhere from 100 to 240v depending on what you plug into.
I would just like some more confirmations if any one has traveled internationally.
Thank you.No, but most international airports I have been to have convenience stores that sell the plug adapters. And there are always other shops with the adapters so it is easy to get exactly what you need after you get there.

Your exchange server must be set up to work with ActiveSync. Ask your IT administrator if they have set up your account properly to use this. Without it, you will not be able to access email on your iPad. Do it now.

Use your computer's backup to transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link, or do the same with both computers networked in some fashion, which shouldn't be hard to do if both computers are connected to the same wireless network.

How do I find all my contacts that have disappeared from my iphone and computer?
I have an iphone 4s IOS 8.02 and a 27" late 2013 Imac OSX 10.9.5. All my contacts have disappeared.
Where did they go? How do I get them back?If you are syncing them with iCloud, try going to Settings>iCloud on your phone, turn Contacts off, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted, then turn it back on and choose Merge.
If that didn't restore them, you may be able to restore them from your iCloud backup by following this user tip: Recovering deleted iCloud contacts from an iCloud backup. -
In order to cure the problem on my iPad of the month of March 2013 only causing the Calendar to close, I amended all "All Day" events on April 1 to timed events. Now my Calendar will not open, although my Calendar on an iPad 2 and on iPhones 5 & 4 work perfectly. I have tried turning iPad off/on, but no effect. Any ideas please?
I'm having the same issue with my 3rd gen iPad too. I always viewed my calendar in month view. It won't even open since it's stuck on month view.
I've quit the app (properly closing via taskbar) and re-opened - crashes immediatly.
Quit the app and rebooted (via holding home/power buttons until restart) and opened - still crashes immediatly.
Anyone know how I'm able to get access to the app so I can change all day events to timed events in April. Is it just April 1st or all of April? I haven't even opened my iPhones iCal yet to see if it's having the same issue.
Also, not sure if this will work but iCal on my mac wireless syncs my calendar events. I'm wondering if I change April 1st all day events to timed events whether it'll sync and fix the issue of crashing?
