Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Change the channel on your wireless router. Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html

Are you running Leopard on your Mac, Laurie?
If so, try instead updating to iTunes 10.6.3.25. (That supports earlier models of iPhones running iOS 6, even though it can't run the new iPhone 5s.)

If you live near an Apple store take it in for diagnosis. Don't forget to make an appointment online first. If you don't live near a store, you may get help by searching "youtube" for DFU Restore ipod. This is not difficult to do but it requires proper timing to get the device into DFU mode.

I tried to install iso7 and now i cant connect to wifi

I started to download iso7 this morning i had my iphone 4s connected to my home wifi. it sarted to download fine but after 5mins it lost connection to wifi and paused the download. i tried to connect back on the wifi but it wouldnt even see my my home wifi.
I reset my network setting turned my phone on and off tried to connect again and it found my home network but when i put in password it came up with a warning "failed to connect to nework".
I thought i would try at work but have the same problem.
Can anyone help?

Assuming the songs play in iTunes on the computer

How can I remove app updates in iTunes?

I have an old Iphone 3G, version 4.2.1
Playing in iTunes, I have downloaded some updates i didn't needed, synced, and now, my updated apps are not compatible anymore with my iOs.
(apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, both purchased or freeware)
So, my question is: how can I remove the updates that made some apps not compatible anymore with my software?
Also, is there any possibility to transfer my iPhone contacts to my sim card?

No. Iphone stores nothing to SIM. You should be syncing contacts to your computer.

Try quitting the App Store:
Tap the home button to get to the home screen. Then double tap the home button, and hold your finger over the App Store icon. Tap the red when it appears. Tap the home button again to return to the home screen.
Try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.
