All content is licensed to Apple by the rights-holders to sell on a country-by-country basis, so all countries have to have thier own stores and you need to be in a country to use its store. If there are films that you would like to be able to buy then you can try leaving feedback for Apple, but unless the rights-holder for Germany agrees to it then Apple won't be able to seel them there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

You don't need WiFi if you already completed the download before your flight.

Prior to going you can rent and download them on your iPad via its iTunes store app, or rent and download them on your computer's iTunes and connect and your iPad and move them to it - they will go in the iPad's Videos app.
Some people have posted that they need to start playing rentals whilst they still have internet connection, so you may want to watch a few seconds prior to going offline - you have 24 hours if you are in the US, 48 hours elsewhere, after starting to watch a rental before it expires. -
I would like to make a movie of me speaking while doing a power point presentation. I have seen this done with the powerpoint embedded on the screen and the speaker doing the talking on the rest of the screen. Is it possible to do this in iMovie?

sure.
the ppt has to be some kind of 'video' iM supports.
so export it from with MS Office as a Quicktime movie, preffered with 'Animation' codec, or as appleintermediatecodec .. for quality reasons.
you need the Talking Head as a 2nd video.
then use iM's Pic-In-Pic feature to combine both videos as wanted.
I would suggest to do some editing (you full-screen, the ppt full-screen, perhaps 'close ups' of some charts, cut-aways to snoozing audience, etc) to 'pep' the video. for this purpose, it could be much esier to export each slide from within PPT as a jpeg and create the 'flow' in iM only... except, you need the ppt-animations ... but, who uses animations in a presentation anyhow ... ? -
I would like to create a movie with with video from multiple windows playing simultaneously

I would suggest using Apple's Pages which allows support for imbedding videos from the device's camera roll. Pages also allows for sharing via email, Air Drop, and Messages. -

Apple can sell only what the movies studios license to them. If the studio doesn't license the movie in it's original language, as often they don't, then it just won't be available. You'll have to look to other download stores selling movies and see if any of them offer the movie that way.

I rented a movie last night on my ipad but I am unable to download it on my ipad I have no space.. so I want to watch it on my laptop computer but do not know how to get the rented movie on it. I checked the itune store and they said I have it rented.. So I need help on what to do to download it on my computer so I can watch it any suggestions? Thanks.

I would like to be able to watch my rental movie/tv shows from Itunes on my tv... I understand that I cannot put it on a USB stick, but is there any other option available? I've tried USB to USB cable and am having no luck.
If you have a modern Mac with a mini-display or Thunderbolt port you should be able to obtain a converter from there to HDMI (e.g. this one) so that you can plug it through to your TV to mirror what's on your screen. Note that this output does not carry audio (at least on some Macs) so you will need to connect that separately from the headphone output (3.5mm stereo jack to whatever your TV or hifi uses).

Publish to You Tube and choose the "unlisted" option.
This way it can only be videwed by people who have the link.

Have bought a movie via apple TV and would like to have it available on my computer and ipod but it doesn't appear in the library on either. If I purchase a move from itunes via the computer it's available on both my ipod and apple TV. Can anyone help?

I had purchased movies from Itunes on my iPAD 2 and when I ran out of space I simply deleted them. When I open my itunes on my Macbook Pro, I find these movies under "purchases" with a cloud icon. This means I can re download them. But what I essentially want to do is download these movies or transfer my itunes movies library on my newly acquired Seagate wireless plus, which I understand is compatible with Itunes. What I would like to know is, will I need to redownload the movies on the macbook pro first before transfering my itunes library to the SWP EHD or is there an alternative?Is it your intention to move the whole library to the external (easy) or just the movies (not so easy but possible)?
Alternatively, make two libraries, one for music the other for movies. I don't really see the need to have them all in one library since I know I rarely want to play a song, have it jump to a movie, then another song without interruption.

NikoleIf you can hook up your TV like an external monitor with something like a mini-display > HDMI cable, you can turn off mirroring here:
> System Preferences > Display
Uncheck the 'mirror display' box at the bottom of the window (I think it's in the 'Arrangement' tab).
