Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

My apps. ended up on my computer and I can not get them back onto my iphone.
I have purchased many apps. as well as ringtones. In the last day or so I have upgraded to io5, synced by phone with my pc and now found that most of my apps. are on computer and i can not get back to phone.

MY iPhone 4 was run over at work by a forklift the screen was badly cracked but other than that worked fine for 6 days. Then it got really hot while charging and shut down and will not power back up. It appears you have the Zoom accessibility feature turned on. Tap the screen twice with three fingers to get to the normal screen. Then go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn off Zoom.

When firefox starts, normally, not after a crash or restore, all the tabs i have pinned as app tabs disappear. I have to go do them all again, and this has happened at least 5-6 times now.
App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data [1] in the file sessionstore.js [2] in the Firefox profile folder [3].
Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

Hi, apps are disappearing off my iPhone and I can't get them back. Spotify, Shazam, BBC iPlayer and the Maps app have just gone. I have tried to redownload them from the App Store but there isn't the option, cant get them back with iTunes either. Help!
I wish it was as simple as that. I have tried to redownload them but they are marked as installed.
I have even gone into iTunes and in the app tab untucked the disappeared apps, synced, then reticked the apps. This is where the strangest thing happens, the app appears on my iPhone, the progress bar goes from zero to the top, then, when the app should be installed, it disappears.
So far Spotify, BBC iPlayer, the Maps app, iFooty, and probably some apps I'm not aware of are affected.
Interestingly, the apps have also gone from my wife's iPhone which is on the same Apple I'd, but they haven't gone from my iPad which is also on the same Apple I'd. -
last week my phone was automatically updated after a trip to Europe, now I can no longer access gmail because the browser capability for cookies has been turned off and I can NOT get it back on. Before the trip bluetooth was on partially working with my car and now since the newest update works no more in any form. Anyone else having these problems? Need help!!
As far as automatic update, the iOS cannot be updated without user intervention, so it could not have been automatically updated.
You need to provide more information about your mail. Does this mean you cannot access the Mail app, you cannot download mail, or what? Not sure why you cannot access the cookies setting in Safari. Go to Settings>Safari>Block Cookies>set to what you want.
Problems with 3rd party Bluetooth devices, such as car audio, etc., generally has to do with vehicle manufacturers not providing updates to match the current Bluetooth stacks that are found in today's phones. You can go into the phone and remove the pairing for the car, and then go into car settings and remove the iphone. Then put both devices back into pairing mode and attempt to connect them again. If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.

Did you download them direct to your IPad or to your computer. If so unless you have synced your iPad with your computer since you downloaded they are still on your Ipad unless you deleted them or if they were rentals the time ran out.
To check on your iPad launch the iPod APP on your Ipad if a movie listing does not show then click on the iPad button under your library list column and it should then show your movies etc
Or launch the Video App and look for them there
if you have downloaded them on your computer they will show up in iTunes the cartoons i suspect will show under TV and the Movie under Movies.
A rented item expires 30 days after you rent it or 24 hours after you begin playing it, whichever comes first. Expired rentals are deleted automatically. After you transfer a rental to your iPad etc, it is removed from your iTunes library.
Outright puchases are obviously yours to keep.
