My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. On my devices it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to)

It says in the corner of my itunes account that i still have money from my itunes card that i redeemed, but when i try to buy a song, the billing info. pops up. Why can't i use the money on my card?
It is simply asking you to verify your account info. Select None for the CC.
It will still pay with your gift card balance. -

There may be a solution but I doubt that the trouble will be worth the dollar that you'll gain. -
I need help ok my itunes account is saying I owe them like $39.36 or something,anyways I dont have any credit cards because of some fraud with my name so at the moment I dont have billing information and I dont know what to do about this? Also It shows that I have a $25.00 dollar balance on my account and I cant seem to spend the $$. Now why cant itunes take the $25.00 off what I owe and then cancel out the remaining balance so I can download the music that I have paid for in full???
Not going to happen the way you want it to.
When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. -

I have money in my account that was redeemed using an iTunes card, but when I make a purchase, my credit card is being charged instead. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Not every type of purchase allows use of a gift card. For example, if you send a gift yourself to someone else, it will be charged to your credit card. Same is true if you purchase a card through the "Cards" app on an iOS device.

My MacBook Pro's hard drive failed a little while back and the hard drive was replaced, however all my items on my external were linked to that hard drive apparently, now I can't get into my back up files for my business as I'm getting an error telling me I don't have permission to view the files, I can't figure out how to over ride this setting to get to my stuff for my business which is really NOT GOOD for my clients or the contracts I'm under, does anyone know how to get past this and get the external to work like it is supposed to?
Select the drive and Finder > Get info and at the bottom "ignore permissions on this volume"
You can copy the files, but the ownership on the files still belongs to the other user account, once your done copying, then perform a #6 Reset Users Permissions and that will set all the ownership to that account.

Another method is to copy the entire folder, then change it's permissions. -

Uri.The only way to get store credit is via a prepaid iTunes card or a gift certificate. You could I suppose send yourself a gift certificate - those can be given in any increment between $10 and $100 - but that will require you to provide a credit card. You would send the gift via the Send iTunes Gifts link under the Quick Links on the main iTunes Store page.
The same will apply to a gift to your friend.

What do I do about my account being hacked? I had an email from apple saying my credit card had been changed but it wasn't me. They say to change my password which I have done but is it safe? Have they got my credit card info? I can't seem to report it anyway

You can create another apple Id for a seperate device. My wife and I both have I phones and we share the same apple ID for purchases. We however each have our own apple ID for icloud or gamecenter as it were. That way you can share all your apps, music, movies and books but have your own ID for iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud and so on. To make it extra clear I have two apple IDs on my iPhone. One for purchasing and one for icloud or gamecenter.
