HT2188 just restored my iphone and in set up it says connect to itunes
I just restored my Iphone and I am now in the set-up menu and its telling me to connect to Itunes and then its saying that there is a problem with my Iphone! This is an old phone im trying to get working it had soda spilt on it but is again working and is in better condition then my Iphone
It sounds like it's not "working" as you surmise...

I have updated my iPhone tithe new software and my phone is now saying connect to iTunes I have tried to do this but iTunes is saying I need to restore my phone help! My phone will now not turn on and only shows connect to itunes
Then connect it to iTunes. Hope you backed it up, because the restore will wipe your phone.

I am using it without phone service.
I connected it to my conputer and followed the activation steps.
then it took me to the sync screen where in the middle of the sync itunes said "iTunes could not backup iPhone because the backup session failed"

i bought a locked at&t phone....
i sent it to be unlocked... got back a dead iphone 5s...
plugged the charger in the wall, it gives me a black screen then the white screen with the apple logo, then repeat....
i tried the dfu thing and now the phone is saying connect to itunes, when i plug the phone outta the wall, the phone goes dead.....

I had reset all my settings and erased my data on my ipod touch, well then a screen popped up saying to connect to itunes, i did so and my ipod will not show up on itunes, help please and the screen will not go away saying connect to itunes either
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Updating iPhone 5 with new software, now saying connect to itunes but not showing in itunes?
Something happened while updating my iPhone 5 while downloading the new software. It now has the icons on the screen saying to connect to itunes but it isn't showing up in itunes? I know the USB cord/port isn't a problem because my computer makes noises when plugged in and unplugged from the usb port however it isn't showing up in iTunes or 'My Computer' - they don't show anything.Please help, I have no idea how this happened!

how do i stop it from autofilling that password(my old one from about 2 years ago) to my new one.. without it i can not restore my iphone..

Someone got my iphone disabled, and when i went to password after it got unlocked i accidently got it wrong, i cant connect to itunes as my charger is broken so im using one without the usb, how long will i have to wait for me to be able to access it or how? thankyou
If it just says that it's disabled, then it will never re-enable on its own. You'll need to restore it:

I'm not sure what breaking your charger has to do with not being able to connect your iPhone to iTunes on your computer.

I have installed "Runkeeper" on my iPhone 5. when it opens "connect to itunes to use push notifications" appears. when "OK" is pressed the notification returns immediately and keeps reappearing. the phone at this point is locked and only a reboot will close the app.
I think software on the unit has likely been damaged and needs to be reinstalled, so restore as new will be needed.

If the device is indicating to connect to iTunes, then it is in recovery mode. You will need the computer and iTunes to recover it. You can fix the iTunes to not sync to your device, but just let it recover the phone. I hope you would have a backup of your data in iCloud, since it is no longer available to you on the phone.
