HT2204 Itunes password will not work when I purchase items after reseting passwords

Have used Itunes for years with no incident.  Now, every time I try to purchase a song, book, app...it prompts me for my username and password.  Despite knowing it....it will not work. I've logged out / logged back in several times no luck.  I've updated my password successfully.  But again, each time I try to purchase something, I type in my username / password and it says that it is not correct.  ***.  Have recently even updated Itunes to make sure everything there is up to date.  Is there some virus that could be involved here.  HELP!!

    click on Start - RUN - and type "\\192.168.1.1" (Without quotes) and hit enter, and it should prompt you for the Username and Password, in the Username and Password use "admin" all in lower case and click Ok...Now you should be able to see your USB Drive... You need to right click on it and select "Map Network Drive" and check the box Enable and below click on Finish... This will Map the USB Drive on your Vista computer... Once done you will be able to Send and Receive the data from your Computer to the USB Drive...

    What is the error that you are seeing? Try to login using another App like GameCenter or iMessage? Also try logging in to other Apps like Facebook to check if it is your Internet connection problem.

    no. Can you rephrase your first question?  I am the admin. ITunes asks me for a password when I open it and it works now but I cannot install software from Adobe or  Microsoft. I am talking about updates. Apple updates do not require password now.

    You can reset the password.
    How you do it though depends on the version of OS X you are running.
    On Lion or Mountain Lion, you use the following technique to reset the Administrators password:
    Boot to your Recovery Partition, by holding down the Option key while starting, and then selecting the Recovery HD as the boot choice.
    Once booted, at the top of the screen is a menu ..., select Utilities / Terminal from the menu bar.
    In the Terminal window, type “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A “Reset Password” window will open. Select your boot volume (your SSD drive) if it is not already selected. Select your administrators username from the menu labeled “Select the user account” if it is not already selected. Follow the prompts to reset the password. Restart the computer from the apple menu.
    If you are using the Keychain, you will lose your existing one, and have to start a new one, unless  you remember the old password.

    I appreciate the info and realize that the Nook App is not related to my Apple account but this too has stopped working.  My situation first started with the Nook App not down loading and then has now spread to my IBook and new app downloads.  I have checked into my ITunes account and the ID and password are correct  and at times when I am asked to submit my Apple password such as setting up this Apple Support Community the ID and password work.  My problem seems to be just with trying to use my ID and password when wanting to download new books or apps.  I can go into the IBook, Nook, and App stores and seemingly download an item but when clicking on the new book or app nothing happens and I get a message that states it can not get into the ITunes store and it wants me to either try again or cancel.  This message appears usually ten minutes after I have tried to make a purchase.  At other times when I attempt to download a book or app I lose the screen and the IPad goes into the opening screen.  Short of redoing my Apple account or deleting an app and attempting to reload the app (but this won't work because the App store won't load new apps) I don't have a clue what to do.

    Boot from your install disk and when you reach the Install screen choose Change Password from the Utilities menu.

  • I just installed Photoshop CC 2014, but Latest version of Bridge will not work when I want to open it from PS

    Any idea why is Bridge latest version not working when trying to open it in Photoshop CC 2014 ? (French version) ? When trying, Creative Cloud app will open to ask if I want to download newest version, which I did numerous times now.

    Here's how a similar problem was resolved between PS and BR.
    The issue was confirmed by ChunXiaYang at Adobe staff and solution put in the forum discussion on June 19 (no. 13). Here's a copy:
    I have confirmed that this is a known issue before release. And the workaround is to uninstall and reinstall PS 2014. Then Bridge can be launched by selecting 'Browse in Bridge' in PS2014.
    Please try the installation, and let me know whether it works. Thanks!
    It woks just fine since I unistalled and reinstalled PS 2014.

    I did this with a fresh install of the entire CC package. As soon as the CC packages updated, CC Bridge broke. Unistalled CC PS, reinstalled again, CC Bridge works, but CC PS updates itself again, and breaks CC Bridge.
    You know... The whole move to CC has been a massive cluster... I've struggled with the CC packages for my entire subscription year, and now I'm 1.5 month away from needing to throw down another $720 for no reason what-so-ever, just so we can Beta test your really screwed up subscription services.

    No. If you failed to turn off Find my iPhone BEFORE you upgraded to iOS 7, you will need the original Apple ID and password. If you upgraded to iOS 7 you will need this info; there is no way around this. If it is the device passcode you will need to restore your iPhone in order to reset that, which in the end will require your Apple ID and password in order to activate the phone once it is restored.
    Why don't you have the original Apple ID? Where did you get the phone?

    Which password? Lock screen, network, backup?
    If you forgot the lock screen password:
    Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:
    iOS: Unable to update or restore and iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
    Go to Setting/General/Reset and reset your network connections, to be able to put in your password again.
    If you can't, set it up as new device, without using the latest backup:
    How to back up your data and set up as a new device
    If your backup is encrypted, you'll have to set it up as new device without using the backup as well.
