HT2242 Changing iTunes display language on Ipad

This article does not explain how to change the display language on the Ipad. Please assist.
Some responses on the discussion board suggest changing the country associated with the apple ID. The country is right, it's the language that is suddenly wrong (two languages are available for Canada). And anyways, because I have a credit in the apple store, it is impossible to change the country.
I also just verified the country and language associated with my apple ID and it correctly displays english and my proper billing address.
Suggestion anyone?

Well, go figure, after posting this question, I got a popup to install the app for this forum, which I did and suddenly the iTunes store and the App store are now back in English. Wasted a bunch of time figuring this out, don't know what did it, but it's fixed so I'm a happy cookie.

I am unsure of where you have looked or have tried at this point. However, the following should be of help.
Click on firefox in top left>options. in the options menu select the content tab, and locate the colors and fonts. Next, locate color dialog further explained below.
    '''Colors Dialog'''
Text and Background: Here you can change the default text and background color to be used on web pages that haven't specified that information. Click on the color samples to select colors.
Use system colors Check this option to use the colors defined in your operating system settings instead of the colors specified above.
Link Colors: Here you can change the default colors for Web links. Click on the color samples to select colors.
Underline links: By default, links are underlined on web pages. Uncheck this option to disable this. Note that many sites specify their own styling rules and this option has no effect on those sites.
Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above: By default, Firefox uses the colors specified by the web page author. Disabling this option will force all sites to use your default colors instead.

  • I can't change the display language on my HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni

I have a HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni printer that I inherited from an employee who is no longer at the company. The display screen on the printer is not showing in English, it's in some language I do not recognize (and neither does anyone else). I want to change the display language to English but the manual only shows you how to do that on the display, which I cannot read because it's not in English, hence my dilemma. Does anyone know of a way to change the display language through the computer?
    Thanks

    InventoryLady,
Yes that is what I did.  I do not know the language that it is currently set at, so the recommendations were from using the front panel menu. The OK button is the OK button on the front panel, that would not be in another language, it is the button in between the left and right arrow- See image below #6:
Once you have hit the OK button, you can complete the steps in my earlier recommendation. Again because I do not know which language it is currently set at, I am guiding you the best I can. As for selecting the English language, I suggest using Google Translate to find out which language it is currently set at and see what their word for English is.
If you have any more questions, please let me know.

  • Change AppWeb display language

Is it possible to change language of AppWeb (to different one than on SiteCollection)? I do not mean localization, but changing display language of default elements(i.e. ribbon). On my main site collection I am able to change this without any problems, but
cannot find a way to do same with appweb.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
you can update your Appmenifest.xml to support local by your app. In your app manifest.xml (in designer view)
    The Supported Locales tab
Through the Supported Locales tab, you can configure the locales supported by your app, together with the resource files corresponding to each locale. Every SharePoint app can support one or more locales, providing dedicated resources and resource files. On
this tab, you simply need to configure a locale ID (using the culture name) and the name and content of the corresponding resource file. Each time you configure a supported locale, Visual Studio 2012 creates the corresponding .resx file for you. below figure
shows the tab configured for supporting the hungarian locale. It also shows the SharePoint app project outline, with the .resx files corresponding to these supported locales.

  • Change additional display language

    Phone: Curve 8520
    Device software: 5.0.0.681
    Desktop software: 6.0.1.18
    Carrier: QTEL Qatar
I installed the Dutch language with the application loader.
Than I went to "Languages" on the Blackberry, but I can only change the input language to Dutch.
Should the installation add Dutch display aswell or does that depend on the carrier?

Hello HelpdeskDB and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Language support is determined be each mobile network carrier.
That being said, you were able to install the Language package to your device so you should have the option to display the desired language as well as input.
When you go to Options>Language and Text Input, the first option in the list, Language, what are your available options?

  • How can I change the display language in PSE 7 ???

PSE 7 was bundled with the new little Packard Bell I got recently.  It was manufactured in Belgium Dutch language.
I've been able to change the system (Windows 7) to English language and "most" software changed with it, BUT PSE 7 stubbornly remains in Dutch.
Is there a setting in PSE 7 that I can change to get it into English?
Can I download an English language replacement without extra hassle of it expiring or ???
Thanks in advance for possible solutions!

I have the same problem, on the PSE7 that came with the Packard Bell
bought in France. Even if I "selected" the language when the PSE was installed from "french" to "english", only the installation window changed, the program runs stubbornly in French. I would appreciated some support from Adobe
related to langauge management. My Windows 7 was changed, of course to English.

  • Change Itunes display from albums to songs?

When I downloaded the new version of ITunes(11.0.2.25) for my PC it displays all the music in albums,  I would like to display the music a songs .  Can't find the menu item to do that?
    Thanks

    Hi slingblade13,
Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you are using the Music app to play some albums on your iPod touch, and would like to sort the music by song or genre. You can find some helpful information about browsing and playing music on this page of the the iOS 8 user guide (which applies to both iPhone and iPod touch):
    Browse and play - iPhone
The quickest way to sort the music on your iPod touch is by tapping the icons on the bottom of the Music app:
Browse your music by playlist, artist, or other category. For other browse options, tap More. Tap any song to play it.
    All the best,
    Jeremy

  • Why is iTunes displaying the new iPad as the 2nd Generation?

On Tuesday I bought what I believe to be the new iPad (or what some may refer to as the 3rd Generation), but I have come across a minor problem that has set alarm bells.I viewed what devices have been recognised on my account through iTunes and it has entitled my iPad as being the 2nd Generation. I then proceeded to check my serial number on the Apple site, which told me my iPad was 3rd Generation. Because I am getting two different pieces of information, I had Apple ring me and the guy also told me it was 3rd Generation. Now, if I believe I have bought the genuine product, why is iTunes responding with different information? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? As someone who has spent quite a bit, I am sure no one will deem these as stupid questions. I have heard reports regarding Apple's deceit when it comes to their products.

    Hi:

Now there is another user in the system that has swedish as the system language, but she stills sees the menus in english.

  • How to change "Regional Language" in iPad air

Hello, I use an iPad air with iOS 7.0.4.
I was wondering how to change the regional language in ipad air. I mean exactly what I said, I know how to change a region, and I know how to change the language. I need to change the regional language. Whenever I choose my own religion, the date, time, battery etc. are all shown in my region's language instead of English. This is irritating since the time 'am' and 'pm' translations are stupid as he'll. Furthermore, the text is harder to read because of the font.
All said and done, I need to completely irradiate that language from displaying while not changing the region. Plus, I do think that the regional settings option should be in the settings (like no matter which region you are in, you should be able to choose the language, date time format, temperature in c or f etc.)

It's not possible yet to do what you want (unless by chance you can pick another region which natively combines the language with the other settings you want).  To ask Apple to fix this, use

  • Change display language according to the user programmatically

How to change the site displaying language according to the user ? Let say I've drop-down to select language in a web page according to that whole site display language change and also user's language in user profile need to change. How to do that in using
    server object model programmatically.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display language according to the user.
First, we can find out the current culture of the logged in user based on
    LCID.
    System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture.LCID
Then you can set the language based on the LCID.

I have tried to repeat the action several times but no luck. Can someone please tell me how to change it login screen back to English?
