HT2371 Farsi persian language

why there is no FARSI or Persian Keybord in the iPAD?  you really did not put anything there!!!!! three countries speak and write with this language, Kurdish people write with the same alphabet, you just ignore about 100 million people!!!
we can't use arabic keybord instead, as there is 4 letter missing in Arabic keybord compare with persian.

You are not talking to Apple here, just other users like yourself.  To tell Apple about new features you want, go to
http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
If you search for Farsi in the app store, you will find some keyboard apps which may be useful for certain purposes.

  • Support of Farsi (Persian) keyboard/language on iOS devices!

    Hello,
I'm wondering when Apple is planning on supporting Farsi (Persian) characters on iOS devices? I am aware of Arabic keyboard that is available, but as you may or may not know, Farsi has 32 alphabet vs Arabic which has 28.
    Kind regards,
    -Shahin

While you are waiting for a Farsi keyboard from Apple, there are various Farsi keyboard apps in the app store which you may find useful for some purposes, e.g.

  • Persian language for Nokia 220

Hi. I updated my Nokia 220 dual sim but I lost my Persian language. What shall I do? Please help me ASAP

Because I am an end-user like you, I cannot look into the firmware files and judge whether this is a bug or intended. Hopefully, a Nokia employee sees this thread and double-check this Product Code. Anyway, your phone was designated for Lebanon. Your retailer might have flashed it over to the code 059V1Z1 which indicates a Nokia 220 designated for Iran. Therefore, I would ask my retailer if he did anything special.
By the way, did you consider to go for a Nokia 208 or Nokia 301? Those phones are not based on the operating system Nokia Series 30+ (MediaTek) but Nokia Series 40 – apps, more Bluetooth, more tools. For these, a firmware variant exists for Iran including Farsi, as well.

  • Farsi Persian fonts keyboard for iPad.

    Hi Everybody,
Does anybody know if Farsi or Persian language fonts keyboard can be use in iPad please?
I looked at the iPad's keyboard setting but the fonts are not included, I thought it may be available by another party.
    Thanks

You can ask Apple to add that here:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
In the meantime, there are a couple keyboard apps which may be useful.  Go to the iTunes app store and search for Persian or Farsi

Could anybody help me to open this section (I mean a Persian section with RTL support in archlinux.org wiki)?

I've seen this issue be raised in the past for another language. The advice then was to try copying the fonts in "C:\Program Files\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\Template Builder for Word\fonts" to "<JAVA_HOME>/jre/lib/fonts"
(Thanks to Kevin W -- I copied this advice from him! :) )
    Cheers,

  • I just bought a pager program this morning but it does not properly write in persian language

I can write proper texts in persian language on this page but not on the "pages program" that I bought today

Pages and other iWork apps have bugs that make them unsuitable for Persian for most purposes.  The best app to use is Mellel, but TextEdit, Nisus Writer, and OpenOffice should also work OK.

The web master of the Persian Arch Linux website http://archlinux.ir/ recently contacted us with a similar request. Are you working together?
    As I said to him:
    pointone wrote:
Note that we are moving away from a single international wiki.archlinux.org. See https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=95360 for details. Please
consider hosting a fully-internationalized wiki at http://wiki.archlinux.ir/ instead. This will allow you to keep the user interface, system messages, templates, etc. in Farsi, and generally simplifies maintenance in the long run.
If this is not a viable option, please read Help:i18n and Help:Editing and begin translating articles. We will add an appropriate i18n language link once pages exist.
See the Hebrew pages (e.g. Main Page (עברית)) for right-to-left examples. You must use:
    <div style="direction: rtl;">
    within the wikitext.

  • Farsi (persian) keyboard for asha 501

Hi, who knows how to install persian keyboard on asha501s, i had the arabic one, but its gone after flash and update

Nokia Asha 501 » Menu » Settings » (General) Writing settings » Add keyboards. Is Farsi listed there?
If not, we need the 7-letter code which is printed on the label located under the battery. That product code determines the firmware variant you have. The firmware variant determines the set of languages you have. Officially, only Nokia Care Centres are able to change that code because tools are required which are copyrighted only to Nokia Care, officially.

  • How can I write in persian language on "Pages" program

I have problem writing proper persian on pager program but no problem doing it on this page

pages works but it is not the best to do persian with. if you want to send it anywhere first you have to export the article and then if the word processor "word" is 2004 series (not the 2011) then you have a chance to have it in words and transfer it to another window platform. but if it is office 2011, you have to copy the article and paste it in first page of your email compose page. still not all companies can do it but Shaw system here accepts and does it. then send the email to a window base computer and copy-paste to word.
it is not the best system to do Farsi but by playing around with systempreference-language text you should be able to have it in farsi writing but I DON'T RECOMEND PAGES for this purpose.
it is not a solution that is for sure
