I've changed the language on my Ipad to Chinese by mistake and then in trying to correct the mistake downloaded something... I pad seems to be in a set up mood. There are no icons appearing on screen just Chinese. Is there a way to return to English setting?

Top half of Extension Manager rendered off screen - how do I get it back into view?

I've tried many different approaches to solve this issue but none have helped. Some environment information:
- running OSX 10.9.1
- use an external monitor
I've tried to get the window to reposition itself by unplugging the external monitor - remains half hidden on my laptop screen
I've tried playing with screen resolution, but it stubbornly refuses to budge
I've also tried rotating the screen 90 degrees, but the extension manager remained stuck with the top portion of the window off screen

For EM CS6, please delete "/Users/<YourUserName>/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/exman_uiPreferences.xml". For EM CC, delete "/Users/<YourUserName>/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/exman_uiPreferences.xml".
The "/Users/<YourUserName>/Library" folder is hidden in Finder. You have to hold down "option" key when you click the "Go" menu in the top menu bar, then click "Library" in the dropdown.

Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.
If you can't locate it on the iPad for some reason, connect the device to your computer. Right or control click the iPad under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click: Restore from backup

Okay so I asked someone from apple and they said that the software update icon is gone but its functions have been merged with the app store icon on the settings menu. Crisis averted haha!

If you are on a Mac, you can connect to a network either using WiFI or an Ethernet cable. These are both available under System Preferences.

One day the touch screen changed into german,,how do I get it back to English. I tried doing what the book said, by pushing top right button and then the middle and bottom on the right. but they never lit up..and it is in german so not sure if I was on right screen to start.

Try clicking once on the iSync icon, then choosing "Get Info" from the "File" menu.
Then, click the little triangle alongside "Languages" and see if English is available and selected.
If it's not there, you'll have to re-install iSync from your original Mac OS X 10.4 Install DVD, then re-install the 10.4.8 Combo updater.

Please check in Settings: General: Keyboard: International Keyboards how many there are and which.

b. May be You changed this top right symbol of an hard disk ?
c. or changed the number of frames to be viewed ?
d. OR - it can (at least for me) be so that You think of how it looks in iPhoto. (To me a very common mistake)

It was tricky, because one should click on finder itself, not finder preferences, where the download icon is actually movable. So I was able to move the icon down to the dock.
But now it doesn't have the same view as before. Now it looks like a folder with downloaded files in alphabetical order. Before it was showing the latest downloads in the way the Mac computers only do, the curved way (can't describe it). Anyone knows how to bring that back?

i googled for answer to resolve the zoom problem. all the anwers just told you to read links but didn't tell how to fix the screem back to normal then it can be able to go to Setting to fix the zoom funciton. HOWEVER, I accidentally found the solution myself by using a fingers or more
to draw circles clockwise on the screen....it will reset it normally. I spent hours trying to go diagonally, compressively still didn't work.
