TS1702 App upgrades will not load. It just says "waiting" under the app
My grandson got on my IPad yesterday. Now no apps will upgrade and I cannot download any new apps. It just says "waiting" under the app Icon
Here are a number of things that have worked for others in the past. Ignore whatever you tried if it didn't work - or feel free to try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad. -

Although having it loading 5 at a time is not ideal, the iPad is more than capable of doing it, it merely pauses those after the first requested. It will install one at a time then go to the next, installing one at a time rather than trying to do a group like this shouldn't yield any great benefit.
Also don't forget that some apps are hundreds of MB in size so depending on your internet connection will just take a lot longer to download than those which are only 1 or 2 MB in size.
I only have a 0.8MB broadband connection when it's at it's fastest so am used to checking the sizes of apps before downloading, it's very frustrating when you forget and hit download only to spend the next 30 mins or so watching a blue progress bar creep across te 10 mm of icon space!!

Are you downloading music?
Check by going to iTunes (on iDevice) > downloads and then remove the one that is trying to download, this will then make the others download and when they are finished, the apps will update/install -
I'm trying to clean my mailbox and when I click on delete or highlight and move to trash I get a message that says "operation could not be completed - file exists. Further, when I select a message or group of messages, one of them is copied (not deleted) to the trash folder. Can someone help me through this?
Thanks.It's a POP account. I decided to clean up my mailbox today after noticing the computer was real slow after USA Today started sending their daily top stories with new graphics. Also before I noticed the problem with mail deletion - two things happened. 1) I updated security sofware as prompted by Apple and 2) downloaded Mackeeper and went throught some preliminary scans but did not buy their package. I need to revert my timeline back to where it was before it was saved. I made a compound clip and then trimmed it and exported it and then shut down fcp. So, when I opened it back up there was only the compound clip. Can someone help me and tell me how to revert back it back to the last time before it was saved? HELP??
Select the compound clip and do Clip->Break Apart Clip Items (or Cmd-Shift-G).

Have you tried "Run" instead of "Save?"
Do you have anti-virus software on the PC? If you do, try disabling the anti-virus for just 15minutes to allow the download to finish.

Try a reset, press and hold both the home and power buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

I am currently using iphone 4s , i didn't update the latest IOS 7.1 (I forgot i have updated which ios 7) . I can't go in to a particular apps, so i restart my phone. After I restart my phone, all apps are disappear including setting, contacts, and call icon and etc. can someone help me? The phone now only remain two apps. Swipe back (right to left) to the home screens that contain the rest of your apps.
Failing that, reset the phone: hold down Sleep and Home buttons until the Apple logo is displayed. No data is lost.
