We want to get that resolved for you! Sounds like what you are looking to do is send and receive regular text messages instead of using iMessage. You mentioned that you are getting the messages once you connect to Wi-Fi. This is an indication to me that the message being sent to you is an iMessage rather than text. Are these messages blue or green?
If you want to use text messaging as a means of communication rather than iMessage you would need to ensure BOTH iPhones have it setup for text messaging. You stated that you thought iMessage worked when one has data and SMS kicked in when you did not. You can set up your phone that way as the sender. If you touch "Settings" and then select "Messages" and ensure that "Send as SMS" is turned on. From what you have described it seems like you have "Send as SMS" enabled (or iMessage turned off) since you can send as text. The other party would have to also elect to send those messages as text rather than iMessages.
It is the sender of any particular message that chooses the type of communication taking place. I would confer with the other iPhone users to see which type of message they are sending. If they are sending iMessages then they would be "held," as you were so aptly calling that earlier, until you have a data connection as the iMessage service uses data service (Cellular data or Wi-Fi).
If the party you are communicating with confirms they are sending SMS rather than iMessages then this is an indication additional troubleshooting of SMS issues is needed. We would be happy to work with you to ensure the text messaging service is working properly.

When using iCloud to download them, you are going through the wrong procedure. That PNG file you are downloading is just the thumb nail. Open the image in the browser, then look to the menu at the top. you will see an icon that looks like a cloud with a downward pointing arrow. Click that to download the image.
Syncing with Windows I can't help you with. I don't directly sync my iOS devices.

This sounds like it is about Window positions.
iChat has Default places for Incoming Invites.
Video is always top Center of your Screen
Audio and Text chats are Upper right with the Audio slightly lower than Text Chats.
Secondary invites are sort of Stacked like when you open multiple files from the same App.
Your outgoing Windows are "Remembered" as to where the last one was when you used it.
This can be an issue if you use your Mac with a second display and turn Off Mirroring.
You windows can get "left" on the other screen.
Go to System Preferences > Displays and turn On Mirroring and the windows should come back to one Screen/display.
If this does not help go to your Home Folder/Library/Preferences and delete (Drag to Trash) com.apple.ichat.plist and restart iChat.
Unfortunately you will need to reset any iChat Preferences you have changed from defaults.

I figured it out. You have to have location services turned on specifically for the native weather app. My husband already did and that's why his was working. In the previous ios, I chose to disable location services to save battery and had the widget set to show weather for my home city regardless of where I was. Now that doesn't appear to be an option. Hopefully it won't drain my battery too much.

I didn't get what exactly you meant by rejecting the bid.
As per my understanding you want to say that the buyer has deleted the bid inviation instead of publishing the bid invitation.
Only the bid invitations are published.In such a case you can create the new bid invitation by copying the deleted bid invitation.
In case what you mean by rejecting all the bids by the buyer instead of accepting the best bid, the only way is to call another set of bids from all the bidders by clicking on "Inform bidder and send back bids" button under the Bidder / bids tab of the header data.
The bidders can send their corrected / changed bids once again for comparison the you can compare the bids and accept the best bid.
Later you can create either contract / P.O based on your requirement.
Hope this makes you clear. Clarifications are welcome.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing the key combination command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear below what you entered. You can then quit Terminal. Test.

When you say it ignores your iPhone, do you mean it does not appear in iTunes if you launch iTunes? Or it does not appear in Finder? Or does not appear in iPhoto? Or you get an error message?

You're ignoring context. On the old Apple Discussion Groups I never posted replies like that, instead giving people relatively detailed answers.
