In iMovie is it possible for the music track to run longer than the video? e.g. for there to be a short video clip playing during the intro to the song and then the song to continue to play in full once the video has finished?
Yes. Just drag your music in from iTunes or wherever and the timeline will auto increase to the full length of the music track. Like this:

That does not sound right. I recommend rebuilding your VI. Beore you do, open the top level VI and press contol-shift-run arrow to perform a manual binary recompile. This makes LabVIEW recompile the whole code. Most times you will not see anything happen but occasionally an error will surface. Be sure to save the VI then rebuild it.
You may also need to reinstall the LabVIEW run time engine and/or LabVIEW. I would start with the run time engine first. -
Hey fellow Apple Geniuses - I just got the latest iMovie11 so excited for the new trailer feature, only to discover that these teenie weenie movie trailers are not near long enough for my taste, however I do like the cool transitions and layouts, so I discovered that I can convert the trailer to a project and then add more content, which I am doing right now. I need help though with the audio track... Does anyone know the secret to getting the 43 second music track to repeat, since this particular track (Friendship2) is not showing as an option in my iTunes/iMovie licensed audio to be able to keep dragging more into the movie? Thanks a million!

Is it possible for a mac to recognise a camcorder as a video input without using imovie/final cut, I use web based video capture software and need an HD input that the mac would recognise as if it were a webcam?

I used to use an analogue Camcorder and a DV converter that had Firewire output at one stage when starting out in iChat.

Is it possible for the next IOS 6 update for the music album art to display on the homescreen as a backround image when music is playing?
It does, under certain circumstances. If you are playing music and lock the phone or it locks on its own, when you wake it up, the album art will show. It also shows as the background if you are in the music app. If this is not exactly what you are looking for, you can submit feedback to Apple about this feature at www.apple.com/feedback.

When you go to Starbucks, you'll need to first go to Settings on your iPad and choose Network. You'll see ATTWIFI as one of the available networks. When you click on that to select it, you should be immediately sent to AT&T's sign in page. You just need to check the box that says you agree to their terms and conditions and then hit the Connect button and you'll be online. One warning, however. If your Starbucks is anything like those in Manhattan, be prepared for really slow wifi. It can be a real pain waiting for pages to load sometimes.

No, the BT protocol does not allow for an A2DP device to be simultaneously connected to two iOS devices.

IMovie 10 imports the original photo from iPhoto rather than the cropped
I am trying to make a video using iMovie 10 and iPhoto. iMovie is displaying the original versions of photos rather than the cropped ones that I edited in iPhoto. Is anyone else having this problem? Using a MacBook Pro, OS 10.9 Mavericks. When I used iMovie 9.0.9 I did not have this problem. I am going to use iMovie 9.0.9 for this project as I need to get in completed quickly.
iOS 8 edits are represented in a format, that iPhoto and Aperture cannot read. When you download your photos with Image Capture instead of with iPhoto, you may see sidecar files "IMG_20XX.AAE", or similar. These are the edited versions of your photos, describing the filters and other settings. The problems is, that there there are not yet any apps on the Mac, that can read these files. We'll just have to wait a bit.
